La Doral

Was really surprised, much nicer then expected. Was clearly redone and very clean. Modern beach look. 2 bedrooms and a nice fully stocked kitchen. Very close to the quiet part of the beach. Short walk to the more crowded areas which is where park, tennis courts and restaurants are. Really enjoyed my stay felt like my own vacation home.

The staff especially Jazmin the property manager, was great and she was so kind. They’re also pet friendly! I received an email with the passcode for our room and accidentally deleted it, I called her and she was happy to provide that to me. Everything you need is so close within a 15/20 minute drive at most. The water is a few steps from the hotel and the public beach access is about half a mile away with a plethora of restaurants, shops, gas stations. We drove to the ferry to snorkel at peanut island and it was less than a 10 minute drive to get there. There was free WiFi and cable, a full kitchen, the room was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay so much we’re ready to plan another trip back!

My husband and I had such a nice time staying at La Doral. He decided on this hotel because it was in walking distance to Sailfish Marina where his friend keeps a boat and also only a few minutes walk to the beach which was great!! The rooms were very spacious, nicely furnished and most importantly very clean! We hope to visit again in the near future.

I stayed here a few years ago for a wedding. I was on a budget and was terrified of how much it would cost to stay out this way. I wanted a week and by a beach. Suddenly la Doral popped up. The price was right, and the location looked sweet, so I bought in. Less than 500 for 6 days? Yes please! I fly in, grab my rental and roll on up. It's an all-exposed apartment style place. No office, no room service, no workout, no pool. And what did I miss when compared to a normal hotel? Nothing! Being an apartment style location it had a small but functional kitchen, decent living area, COMFORTABLE BED, and a tight but functional bathroom. Water was hot, AC was cold, TV had basic service but the wifi wasn't the best. Keep in mind I was on the corner room so other rooms wouldn't have that problem. Floors were new wood (or fake wood, whatever) and tastefully decorated. So why did I love this place so much? I walk out my door, and I can see beach. I timed it - 3 minutes to sand. Oh. Yeah. 7/11 nearby, restaurants around if you need, a few parks, but really. The beach. Is right. There. I watched the sun rise and set with my feet in the sand, I got my tan on in the afternoon, and my car remained parked the whole time. It's minimalist, sure, but when you're looking for a vacation, a simple stay let's you enjoy the reason you're there. 5/5, you bet your booty I'll be back.

Oh, and if you see my fire stick, tell it I say hi.

I'm not one to write reviews but this place was pretty nice. Just a short business trip for a few days but really had a good time. Clean rooms that felt very new. The location was excellent just a short walk to the beach! I'd definetely stay here again.

Just checked in and first impression is great. Really homely feeling to this place. Bright, airy and quiet surroundings. Not just the place is great but the help I've received from Jasmine the Property Manager prior to and during my arrival has been nothing short of top class. Highly recommend a stay here if you're looking for a great place at a really good price.

Was a great place to stay. Super comfortable; close to the beach, walking distance. Quiet. Clean. In great condition. Safe environment. Restaurants near by. We will stay again.

Place is very clean. Outside cleaned and inside the room spotless! Angel was a god send since we had no idea where to eat or shop! Staff extremely helpful and nice! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Very clean and comfortable, all stuff are pretty new, comfortable and clean bed, much better than I expected! You can find whatever you need, like everything except a washer and a dryer!

Im really picky, but i love their set-up and tile floor,very clean VERY SAFE. Just needs a king bed and a t.v in bedroom. But most def bang for the buck..

One of my favorite hotels by far! Cozy Island, lovely hotel, lots of amenities, and a good price.

Very nice, quiet, affordable. Want to get away from crowds this is place to go. Food and shopping half a mile away.
