George Mullen Activity Center

The George Millen Activity Center is an excellent community resource that I frequent for various events. It's great to know that in addition to being a venue for events, the center has also been used as a hurricane shelter, providing a safe haven for North Port residents during emergencies.

The center is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with ample space for large gatherings. The staff is welcoming and always willing to assist with any needs or questions. The Red Cross had opened a hurricane shelter here. They provide three meals a day for people that are staying in the shelter. They even provided cots and showers. We felt welcomed and safe!

Nite at the races. It was great fun

Fun staff members and nice location.

Great playground for the kids. Two regular swings, one baby swing, and one large seated swing I'm not sure how to describe. There's a small toddler structure with three slides, the larger structure had four slides and plenty to climb. Finally there's a bee shaped rocking horse, a small spinning round-about and another small structure for bigger kids to climb and sit on. There's a few benches and a picnic table, and the playground itself is filled with mulch to help minimize injuries from falls. My 5 and 2 year olds love this playground.

Went there for a craft fair ,it was huge craft fair saw Some exciting items .

Sweat heart Dance with my granddaughters, and My Sweetheart having a great time, even though can't dance injured knee, but love watching them have a blast.

Went to a city event there. Facility is new and clean. Large function rooms off of a mail corridor. Playground and athletic fired outside. Plenty of parking.

No ce public park for activities! Remember the Fallen annual 5k

Such a wonderful small business craft fair today!!!

Great place very helpful. Job fair was excellent.

My kids grow up playing basketball and other sports in that facility.

Love how quiet and clean it is.
