In many ways, the work of a reviewer is easy. We risk very little yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we reviewers must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of something. In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for insurance, needless funds spent on what the what if’s of life, but I realize, only now, do I truly understand the need. I have approximately 19 insurance policies with the Hardin Insurance Group covering a myriad of properties, modes of transport and lives. Given Ian, multiple claims were filed. Hardin insurance group directed me how to file with a firm grasp on my shoulder every step of the way. Going above and beyond to the point of that they practically consider and regarded me as a member of their family which I regretfully find myself struggling to reciprocate given my misanthropic demeanor. They are the standard by which those who serve others should be measured.

I’ve always had a positive opinion of Hardin Insurance, but it wasn’t until Hurricane Ian that their superior customer service brought me to tears! We wound up with three different claims with our Allstate claims being by far the easiest and even though our homeowners insurance wasn’t written with them they helped me get through the entire process! I would never have my insurance anywhere else!

Worst experience. Staff was very unkind and belligerent. For sure I will recommend this agency to my friends and family to be avoid at all cost.

Today I spoke to Nelly Perez and I told her the insurance company, Slide Insurance, that she sold me did not pay out 1 dime for the damages to my hurricane Ian damages but has the nerve to raise my rates. I told her it is like throwing my money in the garage and like not having insurance.Her responds was then go without insurance. I asked if she would shop around for me and she said she didn't have time because she was busy with other customers. She also said I was being ugly was not going to take my payment. I told her after my claim is settled that I would not use Slide ever again nor her Agency. She said she didn't care. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she is the manager. They don't care about policy holders or if the companies they represent actually pay out anything . You would think that they are there for guidance on which companies are good and which companies just collect your money and don't pay out anything. This is not the experience I had with them. I have been a customer since 2015 but this will be my last year with them.
