IL Primo Pizza & Wings

We ordered pizzas and breadsticks to go and it was delicious! The staff are always so nice when we come in. Best pizza and wings in NP!

I tried the pizza at the Tamiami tr. location, a couple of years ago for the first time, and my husband and I loved everything about it. We have to order an il primo special pizza every time we come to Florida. (We come to the area 3 times a year) This year I decided to place the order online, that was a mistake, the order wasn't what I thought I had ordered. The manager was very friendly and offered to make the pizza the way I really wanted it for the correct price, which I was happy paying. 😊 The correct pizza was fantastic like usually. I would send a picture but we are it all.

Love this pizzeria. The staff is great, the guys really go above and beyond to make sure you’re satisfied and that your dine in experience is nothing but exceptional. Being originally from Buff, NY. These wings remind me a lot of typical Buffalo wings, not them steroid injected chicken wings now a days. The pizza is delicious, very similar to NY pizza. This is my go to pizza place.

ordered online putting in special instructions for a 7PM pick-up but when checking out receipt said the order would be ready by 6:30. Got over at 6:45 and order was just going in. Staff took the time to read the instructions and acted as they should. Guy felt terrible and bought me a beer. A simple act that meant a lot to his customer. Pizza was pretty darn good too.

Update wings are crispy but the buffalo sauce is so oily its almost inedible

Decent pizza! Wings are good but could use extra sauce. They have an amazing Wednesday kids night. Make your pizza for each kid comes with drink and cookie for 6$. They had face painting and balloon artist as well. She was great.

Have to say the pizza was great. We got the garlic parm wings as well and they were one of the best garlic parm wings I’ve had in a long time. Wings were saucy, crispy and the garlic parm sauce was fresh. The manger jj was super nice and friendly. Looking forward to coming back soon!

We just came for the first time 2 days go. Great customer service, Matt was really nice and explaining all things we asked him. I love it how you can dine in, not many pizza places offer that. It is very clean inside and light, just beautiful. We got chicken wings and meat lover pizza. The chicken wings came out fast and were so delicious!! The sweet chill sauce is outstanding. Then the pizza came and it was the best pizza we had in years. The ingredients are definitely better compared to other pizza take outs. We don't want any other pizza, this just became our favorite pizza place and it so close to home too 😁 we can't wait to go back!!

I had a great experience at IL Primo the other day. The supreme pizza had fresh and plentiful toppings and the team, along with GM JJ, were very attentive and friendly. Treat yourself to a quality small business that cares!

Fast service, pizza was cooked perfectly and wasn’t soggy despite all the toppings. Banana peppers were on the spicy side (didn’t bother some, but those who don’t like spicy may want to pass). No cheese sauce for breadsticks but would definitely visit again.

As soon as you walk in the door, the whole staff is beyond friendly. The food is amazing, especially the sweet chili wings.
We are from Buffalo, NY and this is the closest to our wings that we've found.

Great atmosphere at this pizza place. I have brought several sports teams here at the end of their season and they have always been very accommodating. Highly recommended.

Took me nearly 3 years to finally check this place out and I did. I immeidately feel like I am back at a small wing/pizza joint of Western, NY.

Wings that actually taste like they were made in Buffalo... So rare for our area here. Especially with so many Western New Yorkers living in our area.

My favorite NON-traditional Buffalo Wing flavor is the Garlic Parm. Very tasty. Love the online ordering feature. Whoever built it knew what average people have to go through when ordering wings in this area. Love the x2 crispy option.

The Blue Cheese is pretty good and the portion is very far when compared to other joints in the area. They give you about 2 to 3x more than other places.

My ony negative thing is that they do not serve carrots or celerey with the wings, which isn't that big a deal, but it is the only thing missing from the Buffalo, Western, NY experience. This place reminded me of La Nova in Buffalo. Same kind of concept. The GM is good dude. Really cares about his place and the quality of food and experience the resturant provides.

My new favorite wing place and even if I want to go Hooters to hang out I would probably come here first to get food before I go there.

Lastly, the prices are also very fair when compared to everyone else. Actually a little bit lower than everywhere else and with that great Buffalo Wing quality its a really great choice to order from Il Primo... Thanks Guys... GO BILLS!

We are new to North Port and have been to Il Primo multiple times since we moved. The staff are always so incredibly friendly and kind, and the pizza is consistently delicious!! Pricing is decent as well. We have our go-to pizza joint!

JJ and the crew are always great and always service the community. Donating and providing for the public schools always.

Loved the Wednesday night. Top notch face painting, extreme balloons ( many options for the kids to chose from for balloons and face painting) . My little one had a blast making her own pizza for $5 dollars with drink and cookie included. Disney movie on the TV . We haven't had such a quiet and peaceful dinner out in a long while. I had the small pizza and 6 wings combo for $9.89. Place is also pretty and new. Some pictures below.

We ate Il Primo Pizza at our event for 300 people and they came through on price and quality beyond what I would've hoped! So many people came up to ask us where we got the pizza because it was SO good! One mom told us she would stop by Il Primo on the way home to get another for her kids they loved it so much. Whether you need one pizza or 60, this place is the BEST!!

Great all around experience! From being greeted by JJ at the door, to wishing us a great rest of our afternoon this experience is better than any “wing and pizza” place in the area. Fresh toppings, great sauce, clean oil for the fried goodies and generous size wings. Thank you for making our lunch a memorable one. We will be back again.

I have to say best wings I have had since I moved to Florida ! Great pizza, Awesome service. They really go out of their way to make things right . I recommend dinning in. Fantastic food .

Very friendly and accommodating staff, great food; also the new garlic knots on the menu are delicious.
