Playground had a soft wood chip surface and was partially shaded
Covered pavilion and open picnic tables, some with grills.
Male and female single use bathrooms that are handicapped accessible. Two large parking areas, one paved and one gravel. Very nice kayak launch with a rinse faucet, although it wasn't working in February 2023. There are plenty of trash bins available. All around a lovely small neighborhood park.

I love the play area and the surrounding area. The play ground has some really interesting equipment, my kids love it! The surrounding area is really really nice to walk and it makes for really peaceful afternoons!

Pulled out and released a 2 lb small mouth bass. Just be aware there are gators in the water we saw one in the water bt the dam in far body of water it was quite large about 6 or 7 feet. Nice park though great sliding swings take kids on like 100 ft of what kind of resembles a slide on a swing.

This park is definitely in my top 3 in the North Port area! The equipment was just recently updated, they have the big kids equipment separated enough to where the littles can have space to wander. The park is right on the creek/dam which has a small dock with a swing to sit which is relaxing. We love coming an hour before sun goes down!

Excellent place to spend time with the gkids. Nice and well taken care of it. But, I could see areas when some maintenance is needed. Sure the city will fix it soon.

Nice park with a little pier by some water. My kids love it there.

Nice little neighborhood park. Always clean and kept up.
Great for kids to run around and burn off energy.
There is also a pavilion that may be used by the public if you contact the park/recreation department. Get out and enjoy what the city of North Port has to offer.

Very nice park one of my favorites in the area. Park is on the water and has docks to fish from. There are trails through the woods you can walk along. My granddaughters love the playground as it has 2 zip lines and there is a playground for both younger and older kids. Also has a picnic pavilion and bathrooms. There is also a porch swing facing the water.

Great park for the family and to launch your kayak for some largemouth bass fishing. Great waterway to relax and paddle & do some fishing. Place to rinse and stage your kayak after you are all done with your day on the water. I highly recommend it...

Grandson's loved the park. Fun playground, with variety. Pretty setting next to the river nice place to picnic and launch a kayak or canoe.

Great little park hidden away along the river! There's a playground and kayak accommodations, plus 2 nice docks. Lots of parking. If you're a Geocacher, there's a cache hidden there.

We love this park. We go here at least once a week. It’s our favorite park in North Port. The Park overlooks a canal and the view is always beautiful.

Lucky me, I live 5 walking minutes away from the park. There's a playground, kayak launch, swings, barbeque/picnic area(might be still under restoration) restrooms. The park is always extremely clean and well maintained. I love seeing gorgeous sunsets overe here.

Nice quiet place to park and catch up on texts and emails.

Always a fun place to take the kids bring your fishing pole nice big canal, close enough to still watch the kids

Its a very nice small park right on the water. Loads of kids of all ages just having a great time. One large pavilion covered area for parties and large open space for alot of running around.

Neighborhood park. Love the improvements that have been made. Most recently security cameras were installed.
