They allow indoor seating now. Always happy with the food I order. Food is always hot, as if it was just cooked.4-26-22. I continue to support this fine restaurant. I took my Dad for the first time today. He was sooo impressed. He, like I love Hot and Sour soup. Rice House makes the best. He had the sweet and sour chicken. He commented on how fresh and correctly cooked the chicken was. 6-17-23 took Dad for Father's Day. One of his favorites. They never disappoint. I highly recommend. 2-13-24 I love this well established Chinese restaurant. I went with my usual hpt and sour soup + General Tso's chicken. Awesome as usual. I highly recommend

First time ordering from here. Got take out. It is amazing. Huge portions. Fresh made to order. We got General Tso chicken and Singapore Mei Fun. The women were very nice during check out. I will be ordering from here form now on. Everyone else sucks.

Only have it delivered, but, some of the best Chinese takeout I've had in Florida. I'm from NJ and I'm spoiled by having some of the best food in the country, this place can hold it's own.

The take out/delivery experience here is always top notch. You get huge portions and a great value for your dining dollar. The food is always fresh and hot and the girl answering the phone makes great recommendations. They serve the best hot and sour soup that I have ever had. The Rice House never disappoints!

This is the best Chinese food we have found in the area. North Port, Port Charlotte, Englewood, Venice, Nokomis - we have tried them all! Very close to the Chinese food in New England. Food is very fresh and always good. We are very picky, and even my husband loves it, and it does not make him have a stomach ache. Highlights are the fried dumplings, fried rice, curry and lo mein. Give it a try!

Stopped in for a quick snack while in the area. We had a fanatic time. Grabbed some fried noodles and duck sauce (given upon sitting), and 2 small wonton egg drop soups. Great spot for a quick meal or take out.

Nice tidy little Chinese/Thai restaurant. Mom and pop style reminds me of home cooked family meals. Extensive menu options with vegan or vegetarian options available. Check it out nestled next to a few other eateries nicely priced menu options recommend the pad thai and vegetable fried rice. Don't just take my word give them a try and let your palette decide.

Food is consistently excellent, great service and prices.
Definitely one of my favorite places for Singapore Mei Fun and Tom Gha Kai (Chicken Coconut soup) and other Thai favorites.
I've brought my 4 y.o.granddaughter here and she LOVES it!!

Decided to try them out for the first time and very happy with the service that I received, the tall blonde lady working the register was a total delight and made me feel very welcome and at home. I will definitely be returning!

They were absolutely Fantastic Back Then, and have not failed in their Mission to date to provide The Best Chinese and Thai food, Period.!!
Every Time I order, The order is correct, the Food Quality is Awesome And when it Arrives, Its Hot!! Keep up the Great Work!!

My wife and I agree this is by far THE BEST American Chinese food we have ever had. We ordered the sweet and sour soup, egg rolls, roast pork chow fun, and scallops and beef.

Great food fast service no dine in.

I've been going to this Chinese restaurant for years and even though I'm not as close to this establishment as i used too, I will still continue to go here since I've never had a bad meal.
