Man, I LOVE this place! I’ve been coming for lunch for years but I only just did breakfast here the first time yesterday! First thing in the menu is the “breakfast salad thing”. This is a heaping delightful mess of vegetables and mushrooms and eggs with the delis “secret sauce” a piquant creamy tangy perfect compliment to the dish! I’m diabetic and therefore avoiding carbs so instead of bread/toast I got a cup of the soup of the day which is a dill pickle chedddar soup that is greater than the sum of its parts!
Looking at some others plates imma say everything on the menus is slammin! Breakfast before 10:30 and an incredible lunch selection there on! Go get it!

Delicious! Stopped first thing in the morning for a quick bite and we were blown away. We had the St. Andrews and the Dunbar, both blown away. Plus, everyone was really friendly!

First visit! They close at 4pm so we just barely made it. I ordered the Lady Jane and my wife ordered the Macbeth. Service was great! We were attended to often. We both really enjoyed our sandwiches. They were pretty messy so be prepared to use several napkins. This will become a goto place whenever we can get out early enough. This location is highly recommended!

My wife and I were just traveling through and stopped to visit some family for the night and decided on Highland for breakfast.
I'm only disappointed they don't have the option for 6 stars! What a treat, everything we had was phenomenal, wife had the breakfast "salad" thing and I enjoyed an omelet. WOW!

The epitome of deli sandwiches in Carrollton, Highland Deli & Grill blew us 'out of the water' with their kind and responsive staff, EXCELLENT food, and gracious atmosphere. Honestly, these sandwiches won't be rivaled even amongst Atlantian counterparts, this is a place to try!

This place is probably a hands down , must see for someone visiting and a frequent spot for locals. The food is amazing, the staff is patient , helpful, knowledgeable, and passionate about the craft. 5 stars every time without fail.

The only thing I would ask is that they were open more and for longer! =]

Best lunch spot on the square, and fairly priced. Better quality than big sandwich chains and for easily comparable cost.

The holiday cranberry turkey and cream cheese croissants are so delicious you should think about adding it to the regular menu it is so good!!!!

If I could eat every meal for the rest of my life here I would. Highly recommend the Nathanael with their house made chipotle mayo instead of ranch or the Jarito.

Got the ploughman's lunch with meat pie. Very good with the chutney. Pie is a little small but very good. Big hunka hunka wedge of cheddar though.

The best little sandwich shop in Carrollton, GA! It is a Scottish themed deli tucked away in a corner of the square. The sandwiches, salads and desserts are great. The staff is so friendly.

It has one of the two best Ruben sandwiches my wife has ever had. The other being The Hill Bar & Grill in Mint Hill, NC.

We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.

We come for lunch nearly every week. I love the strawberry spinach salad and hubby enjoys their shrimp specials and their hot sandwiches. Splurged on a scone today. Yum! Staff is super nice and efficient.

The food is delicious and the menu has a good variety. This place is a hidden gem that is tucked away on Adamson Square.

Excellent food, very unique and great quality! The owners take pride and go out of their way to make sure you are pleased! They also have daily specials on Monday is lasagna which is great!! I eat here at minimum once a week usually more often whenever possible!! The have wonderful salads and cake!! Run don’t walk to this great place!

Get your AMERICAN SCOTLAND WARM COMFORT FOOD ON.try evey soup even if it does not sound good.get your taste bud kickin.the jarito .the chicken salad sandwich. The dunbar.the hamburger. Lasagna. On and on and on.the place is cool .journey is so nice .all the people are very nice .Food is a 10..JUST DO IT

Yes this is a sandwich shop but don't let that fool you, the sandwiches and soup are some of the best food I have ever eaten!

The Nathaniel with chipotle mayo is my favorite. To be honest, it's so good I haven't been willing to try any of there other sandwiches.

The portions are MASSIVE! You will definitely leave with a full lunch for the next day as well. The food is amazing! The service is on point with the best smiles. I highly recommend if you want a piece of pecan pie, be sure to call ahead and let them know to save you a piece. 😁
