Outstanding cardiologist! Dr. Rouse is not only an excellent cardiologist but he actually listens to my concerns! That’s the best kind of doctor; the ones who listens to his patients and uses his expertise to accurately diagnose the issues and make appropriate treatment. Thank you, Dr. Rouse, for listening to my concerns about thyroid problems then applying your cardiology expertise to treat my condition appropriately. You’re the best!

The wait times definitely need to be worked on but I know first hand that it is because Dr. Rouse, and the staff at West GA Cardiology are doing their best to treat people as PEOPLE, no matter how overbooked they are. Dr. Rouse, or Lorie Startup, NP never WANT to turn any person who needs help away. Even if that means overbooking an already tight schedule at times. The support staff (clinical, front office, billing) also goes above and beyond. They call to check on patients, make sure they have samples if possible, raised money for patients in need, donate gifts every Christmas to families in need, and even have driven a patient who was left at the office with no ride home just to name a few things. The providers work tirelessly, running back and forth between the hospitals, and the office and STILL find time to help the community. He is the most down to earth, humble doctor you may ever meet, and Lorie is a regular Florence Nightingale! And you rarely ever hear them complain. That's how you know it is a true calling. These are definitely the people I wan caring for me and my loved ones, because I know their hearts are in the right place.

I was admitted into Tanner Carrollton with chest pains. He has been very thorough in my care. He has a very calm demeanor. I observed him explaining a technique to a nurse and he was so gracious and kind, not demeaning in any way. His team is also amaaaazing. I highly recommend him! What an asset to Tanner!

Dr Rouse has treated my family for years. He is kind, compassionate, and a leader in his specialty. He blends traditional western medicine with an open mind to the holistic approach to patient care. His treatment plans are individualized as he treats the uniqueness of each patient. He incorporates exercise, massage therapy and realizes how the day to day stressors of daily living affects our health. His staff is efficient and professional. I highly recommend Dr Rouse.

He has always gone above and beyond to keep me informed and treated. His staff are the most responsive, even on mychart, that I've ever seen. Great doctor

Be prepared to sit in the waiting room for an hour if not longer

Dropped the ball with my dad. Told him he was not a candidate for a heart cath so he got a second opinion from another practice and cardiac stent ended up being put in later that week. I like Dr. Rouse as a person, but he didnt listen to the patient well in this case. And according to my father being seen multiple times in their office, Dr. Rosenthall needs to stop talking about himself and his wife for an hour and LISTEN to the patient as well. Incompetent all around and he said not even the front desk staff was caring, seemed lazy and never called in his prescriptions like they said they would. I will never come here, nor would I refer any friends or family here.
