Will is incredible. He’s treated me a few different times for various injuries ranging from a severe sprained ankle to back issues. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and most importantly has gotten me to be pain free! He not only gives you great treatment on-site, but provides a thorough post-treatment plan that has definitely helped me heal faster and prevent further injury. He even adjusted my car seat to make sure I was sitting correctly, which has helped drastically with my back pain. I wouldn’t go to any other PT!

Will is the first PT I have ever seen, and he’s been wonderful! So knowledgeable, kind and is able to provide insight into your body. He is able to share “homework” that is thorough and helpful in healing. Each session I walk away feeling more confident. Whether it’s dry needling, classic elbow technique or anything else, he’s fantastic. As an athlete, it’s great to speak with someone who has background in all areas + knows a few good jokes. Thanks Will!

Will is the best PT I have ever come in contact with., hands down!! I had a nagging hip issue that went on for several months with no improvement and kept me out of weightlifting. I am an Athletic Trainer by profression and rehabilitation has always been in my wheelhouse, but I could not fix this on my own. I reached out to Will and had immediaite improvement in pain and function after my first visit. With the combination of an incredibly detailed assessment, manual therapy, and corrective exercises for homework I am now back to training and competing in weightlifting with 0 pain!!
He is extremely knowledgeable and truly takes the time to listen, understand your goals, and get to the root cause of the problem, not just bandaid it. Highly recommend all the way around!!

Will is the actual best! He's incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to work with. He listens to me explain an issue in unofficial terms and always knows how to translate. I had seen multiple specialists for a bum hip and Will was the first person to identify and effectively resolve the problem. I can't say enough about how awesome my experience has been at Southeast PT!

Will is the best! I've seen him for things like nagging aches/pains to post-surgical PT and care. After I tore my meniscus a few years ago, Will worked with me on strength, soft tissue and joint mobility, and then more aggressive treatments (blood flow restriction therapy) to get me back to running and strength training faster but more importantly, better. Any time I have an issue or just a question, I go to Will and he's happy to help. He has a great sense of humor but takes a no-nonsense approach to PT so you don't ever have to see him again (although you'll probably miss him and want to stop in and say 'hi!'). If you're an athlete or just someone who wants a more functional approach to PT, go see Will!

Pretty much my entire family has worked with Will over the last couple of years. He's helped my wife, daughters and me with injured ankles, Achilles strains, back issues, tennis elbow, weightlifter's shoulder - pretty much "all of the things" that can pop up between dance, lacrosse, tennis and high intensity exercise - and he's always been able to work with us to rehab and return to full mobility. He is very attentive, creative in his approach to PT, and is an avid exercise enthusiast himself. Very happy to have found Will - and continue to work with him to this day!

YOU WANT WILL ON YOUR TEAM!
I am a middle aged athlete and functional fitness coach in the ATL area. This is the ONLY physical therapist I recommend to my athletes and who I see personally on a weekly basis.
There are not enough good things to say about Southeast PT and Dr. Will Duncan. I originally went to see him hoping to solve some nagging mobility issues in my ankles and shoulders. From the very first visit, I knew I was in good hands. Will is a great listener and asks great questions to help uncover the root of your issue. He has tons of options for treatment and is creative and intuitive in the solutions he offers. He is anything BUT the one size fits all practitioner you often find in large insurance based practices. He gives freely of his time with each patient. It is not uncommon for me to spend an hour(and sometimes a little more) with Will each appointment. While I always leave feeling better, I also leave with homework that will help carry the improvement further. He spends time explaining, demonstrating and making sure I understand what I need to do in order to strengthen, mobilize etc.
Since my initial encounter with Will, I have suffered a traumatic knee injury that has required 2 surgeries. Both have required extended time non-weight bearing and a lengthy recovery. Will has been with me each step of the way, guiding my return to mobility and strengthening of my wrecked leg. I know that I can reach him via text when things feel weird or don't seem to be progressing according to plan. He answers in a timely manner and always has something I can try. If you find yourself with nagging pain, mobility/strength imbalances or issues or need a PT post op, I would strongly recommend Will as your best option.

I first saw Will regarding some back pain I had been experiencing a few months ago. After only the first visit, Will was able to immediately determine the root cause of the pain and assigned some exercises for me to perform on my own time, which caused the pain to disappear within a week. Since then, I've returned for some knee pain and tendonitis in my elbows, both of which Will was able to resolve just as quickly. I feel better and stronger than ever after seeing Will and am confident that if any new issues arise in the future, he'll be able to handle them. Can't recommend him enough!

Dr. Will Duncan is a magician! I've seen several PTs but you always are one of many patients and get little one on one time. Here you get one on one time for an hour... I had knee pain for months from running. I was icing and resting and had no improvement and I wanted to get back to weightlifting. I tried watching YouTube videos to help but I was making no progress. When I came in to see Will he put me on a plan to strengthen my hips and other muscles in addition to treatment during our sessions which consisted of massaging and dry kneedling. Now I have no knee pain and I can get back to strength training without worrying about it.

I have never felt pressured to set up unnecessary appointments and Will is very responsive with questions outside of the session. He'll even give you coaching on your lifts if that's what you are looking for. Any time I need help with an ailment or want to get some relief from a new pain I have confidence Will can help!

Will has provided an all around, great experience for the rehab of my hip. He is very knowledgeable and had the ability to breakdown the anatomy and physiology of what I was dealing with; in a way that makes sense to someone that isn't a professional in the field. I would strongly recommend Will to anyone in need of a Physical Therapist that understands the importance of educating the client/patient. In my opinion, it's much easier to stick to a rehab/strengthening program when you fully understand why it's being prescribed.

Will was recommended to me by an employee at big peach running co. At the time I was having bad pain in my left foot around the outer ankle towards the sole of my foot. The pain was bad when running or balancing making it hard to continue training for the upcoming Atlanta marathon. I saw Will about 1 month before my race in hopes of treating the issue so that I could still complete the marathon.

Will is amazing - during our time in office he was fully attentive to my needs and recommended different tactics to reduce the pain by focusing on the cause of the problems. He gave me many exercises to work through on my own and was always available via phone to answer questions or provide support. With massages, dry needling, and exercises to strengthen the glutes and hips, I was able to continue training and was able to complete my marathon a month later with minimal pain!

I would highly recommend Will!

As a person who works out consistently and wants to continue that journey, Will and Southeast PT has allowed me to do more proactive continuous care to prevent future injury vs. waiting for an injury to happen. Will introduced me to dry needling which really helped with the problems I had getting to the knots in my calves that a lacrosse ball or foam roll couldn’t get to. I work out every day because of Southeast PT and Will’s great guidance. Will is certified in many lifting programs including CrossFit and power lifting so he ‘gets it’ and wants to help you get back to your physical activity in a safe and healthy way while also helping ensure form is number one.

I went to visit Will based on the recommendation of a mutual friend. I was having frequent lower back pain that was getting in the way of not only my life, but my ability to deadlift and squat when heavier weight was added. Will helped me by using a multi-modal approach. With targeted strengthening exercises, specific techniques, and dry-needling...I was feeling like myself again. Southeast Physical Therapy will certainly get you back moving with ease and performing at your best.

Will Duncan is amazing. He helped me so much with my hip and elbow problems. I got some skills and knowledge on how to stretch and exercise those muscles to help me feel better and have more flexibility. I will defiitely be back and will be referring all my friends!

I cannot recommend Will enough. I went to Will with a shoulder issue leaving me unable to properly train bench press. One frustrating thing I've encountered with other providers is the insistence to just completely avoid the lift that's causing the pain. As a lifter himself, Will not only understands the desire to get back to training ASAP, but the biomechanics of each lift and how the issue presents. Will does a thorough exam and thoughtfully tailors a program to return to pain free lifting. Since working with Will I am back to pain free benching and setting PRs along the way. I cannot say a negative thing about working with Will. Go see him, get healthy, hit PRs. Simple as that.

As a retired military veteran with 11 deployments I came to Southeast Physical Therapy extremely damaged and in need of serious help. Will has continued to go above and beyond with care in order to strengthen areas like my lower back, shoulders, hips just to name a few. His attention to details and engagement with his patients go above and beyond any care I have ever received. I highly recommend Will to anyone in need of PT.

Will is a fabulous PT. Having spent my fair share of time in PT for various things, I can say with great assurance he is very good at what he does. He has worked with both my sons on sports injuries and has done an amazing job at getting them back on track and giving them the tools they need to maintain their health after they have completed rehab. Most recently he used Blood Flow Restriction Therapy as well as traditional rehab for my son's growth plate fracture in his ankle. Will had him back running in 3 weeks and back on the field playing within 4. Not only that, but when my son got hurt, he asked if we could go see Will to do his rehab because he liked working with him! A win-win in my book, great cutting edge rehab with an attentive and personable PT! Thanks Will!

So I went to see Will with an L5S1 (lower back injury). I was more or less told by my doctor after an MRI that I would have to work around the injury for the rest of my life. Will put those fears to rest and got me on the right path to recovery. He really knows his stuff and I would recommend anyone looking for a PT to go see this guy. Also a side note, I like to powerlift, and Will was very knowledgeable about weight lifting. He more or less tailored my recovery to what I love to do in the gym. I couldn’t recommend him enough.

After having surgery for a torn tricep I was referred to Will for PT from a colleague. I was impressed by his knowledge and expertise in rehabbing my tricep, along with other contributing muscles. In between my visits, he provided at home exercises to increase my flexibility and strength. My recovery per the Dr. would be around 1 year, but since seeing Will I'm 4 months ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend going to see Will for any PT, on going pain related issues, or for proper workout techniques.

Will was the consummate professional asking detailed questions coupled with a battery of tests to help me figure out the root cause of my shoulder/trap issues. After he was able to correctly identify the issue in my shoulder he offered a combination of therapeutic solutions under his watchful eyes and hands as well as techniques and exercises to do on my own that was referred to as "homework" I was able to correct an issue that I had been battling for over 2 months related to a muscular tightness that stopped me from bench effectively without pain and now with the problem I have been setting personal records left and right.
