John Prather with the Seeby Group was a complete pleasure to work with. John helped us sell our home and buy our new home and made the process so streamlined and simple. Before beginning this home buying experience (i.e. before talking to John the first time), I had many questions and concerns around the process, but John was able to answer them all and gave me a lot of peace of mind throughout the whole process. It's been a whole lot less stressful than I thought it would be. John has a lot of experience and it shows through how knowledgeable he is. I appreciated the several referrals that he was able to make-homeowners insurance, painter, handyman, mortgage lender. John had recommendations for each of these, and every one was a quality referral. John is awesome at communication--he's super responsive and quick to communicate necessary things. He has a great personality as well--you can tell he genuinely cares about his clients, and he stays cool, calm, and collected, which had a calming effect on us as well! All in all, I've been thankful to be able to work with John and his team, and would highly recommend!

We have been living in Connecticut for the past 5 years & knew it was time to sell our home in Decatur. Due to the pandemic we were not comfortable flying back to Atlanta to get the home ready to sell. My husband and I have been customers of the Seeby Group for both buying and selling homes for the past 8 years. We've had nothing but the greatest experience with every purchase and sale. I reached out to The Seeby Group in order to sell my home because I had read many reviews where so many bragged about their impeccable expertise in the real estate market. Justin called me immediately and was exceptionally knowledgeable and walked me through the selling process (keep in mind it was not a huge sell – only in the mid 240k’s). I had my reservations, but the entire team was very attentive to my questions and concerns. Honestly I didn’t feel that my home was suitable or ready for the market. I knew it had a lot of minor work to be completed, but he and Kelsey worked diligently with me and gave me a positive outlook on selling my home. I am so glad I listened and let the professionals guide me through the process – everyone, especially Kelsey, worked extremely hard to make it happen (I had a lot of questions, and she never seemed to get tired of me). I was given 3 options on pricing my home: 1) As is - just put it on the market and see what it gets, 2) Make a ton of repairs (as if I had a money tree in my backyard), and 3) I was provided a list of a few repairs that they said would get me the biggest bang for my buck while alleviating the pressure of putting a ton of money on the line for major repairs and upgrades. Well, I choose #3 (was also advised that it was the best option in their mind) and they took over. Within 3 days contractors showed up and knocked out the repairs (even in the rain) just in time for the professional photographers to show up. Keep in mind, I did not coordinate any of this - it was all handled by The Seeby Group. And, their plan worked, the house was under contract within one week well over what I thought it would sell for and at the end of the day I only had to provide a little closing costs to the buyer for some repairs discovered during their inspection. Bottom line is this group saved me a lot of time and money and was absolutely wonderful to work with. Richard Mesa was our realtor I can not praise him enough! We closed on our house in a month, and he made this process so easy. I’m so incredibly thankful for him! I worked with Ryan Sconyers from The Seeby Group and the process was incredibly painless and well executed -- I even was doing it remotely! Ryan went to my home 15 minutes after it went on the market, gave me a virtual tour (I was living in SF at the time) and we put in an offer and got the ball rolling. The entire time I felt like he had my best interest in mind and negotiated for what he knew was fair for me as the buyer and made sure I wouldn't settle for anything less. Additionally, Ryan is well versed in building homes so he understands not just the aesthetics and real estate but the actual quality and build of a home.
