I just got a set of extensions for the first time at The Knotty Salon in Roswell done by stylish Rachel Self! I wanted to thank everybody there for the entire experience Rachel walked me through every step that was going to be taken and made me feel extremely comfortable, she also explained to me how to care for my extensions in the future. Being a first-time user of hair extensions I was extremely grateful that Rachel took the time out to explain to me the correct products to use and the what and what nots to do. Anybody looking for a great experience with extremely talented stylist head over to the knotty salon, I will definitely be back to see Rachel in the future. 100% recommend

I’ve been a client of Aaron for years. He’s amazing! He does great color, great cuts, takes his time, and is just so much fun to spend time with. If I ever leave Atlanta I swear I’ll drive back to see him - he is THAT good!!!!!

Hands down had the best experience one could have at The Knotty Salon in Roswell! My long time stylish Rachel Self deserves an award having to deal with my hair, she demonstrates so much talent and patience and with a combination like that you can't go wrong! The vibe at the salon is so contagious with all of the smiles and laughter throughout the whole experience. Maranda is amazing. I had a Balayage ,haircut, hair conditioning done. First time coloring my hair and it came out perfect. I feel so vain because I cannot stop looking at my reflection. Maranda made me feel comfortable and answered all the questions I had. Maranda curled/waved my hair to get the full effect.

I went in to see Angela. I had an idea of what I wanted, and she made it come to life. The braid she gave me the first time doing anything with my long hair was phenomenal. I went back a second time to re braid it, and it stayed in so long. I'm going back a 3rd time and am excited to see what we can do with a small dead ends cut and braid. I will say also that her salon is welcoming and warm. I've felt comfortable in her chair.

Edit: came in today and I took her suggestion on how much to cut and all that to do the braid and I'm very happy with the results. Angela has my business.

Love this place and recommend Rachael hands down. I’ve been going platinum for years and have had several regular stylists along the way - Rachael is my favorite stylist I’ve had easily. I get compliments on my color all the time. She’s amazing with blonde, very flexible with making appointments and incredibly reasonable with pricing. Salon is in a cute area and the vibes are great at this place.

Rachael has been doing my hair for years! I trust her with my hair more than any other hair stylist I have had. I am so indecisive and she is always super helpful. Generally I just say “do what you think will look great!” And vioalaaaa she does!! EVERY TIME! If I was ever unsure she was happy for me to come back and fix it until I was content! She even got me to try extensions that she sewed/beaded in and I was nervous they’d fall out or they’d get ripped out by my patients and they lasted even loner than we both thought they would! SHE IS AMAZING and ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL AND KIND!!!

Aaron Lavine is one of the best colorists and stylists I’ve ever had. Have been going to him for over a decade. He is wonderful and everyone at the salon is talented and very nice.

I've known Rachael for years. She's handled both my sister's and all of my friends hair for years and they always say she's the most professional. Reasonably priced highly skilled hairdresser. Highly recommend

I found Rachael after reading recommendations on Facebook. I looked at her Instagram and knew she would be great with my hair. She messaged me back and forth on Facebook and was very helpful and responsive. She did an amazing job on my hair. She fixed my extensions and color, was professional, and very reasonable. I will definitely be back to see Rachael again.

Lee Ann is the best! She was able to give me a last minute appointment on a Sunday to "repair" a very bad cut that I received the day before at a different salon. She was so sweet and gracious. She was able to fix my hair and I am very happy with the cut she gave me. I will be going back for repeat appointments. I found my new stylist/colorist!! Thank you so much Lee Ann!!

I love this salon! Jaime J my stylist was amazing and took extra care and attention to my hair type! She asked probing questions to ensure I was getting the style I wanted and she gave me a knock put hair cut! She is very accommodating and the absolute best! Love! The salon has a great open vibe and the other stylists are terrific!

I have been seeing Rachel for a while now! She’s so great at what she does and is very knowledgeable!!! She’s a great stylist! If you want to be blonde she’s the one to go to! Of course she can do anything.

I booked a last minute hair appointment and lucky for me they were able to fit me in- and I was able to get the super experienced owner of the salon Kara as my stylist... what a difference! My hair needed major help! I didn't have to explain too much and right away she knew what to do and the cut and color was on point!! Well worth the money and the ambience was open and airy with lots of natural light. The end result couldn't be more fantastic and I'm definitely going back for my next appointment...

It was my first visit last week and Sonia has a lot of experience. Threading is usually very painful for me.. But she was so good at it that I barely felt it. She's very thorough and detailed with her work and I'll definitely be going back! Would highly recommend.

Rachael took time with me since this was the first time I'd gone to a new stylist since mid 20's. My hair looks great and I highly recommend her! And they carry the best product line in the world Kevin Murphy!!
