The Copper Pot

My family stopped by the Copper Pot and I was fully expecting to get a pizza, instead I got the Gateway Grits which were absolutely phenomenal. The crispy fried chicken with the savory cheddar bacon grits sweetened with honey was absolutely amazing. Perfect for a rainy day like today. My wife and kiddo got a personal pizza and my son devoured his portion of pizza, which is the biggest compliment I can give a restaurant!

Man this pizza is amazing.

The crust is the way I love, thin crispy bottom with a bubbly end crust - pizza bone you can use it for dipping. The flavors and ingredients are fresh, you could tell in every bite. This is an excellent pizza in the middle of the mountains in North Georgia. The people who live there have a great place to eat pizza.

The salads are huge and delicious and fresh. The appetizers were great. The service was great. You can see right in the kitchen from the bar, everything they were doing, tossing the dough in the air, all meals were done right there in front of you.

Great bar area, great bar service. Great service overall and plenty of parking. They do take reservations.

Would I go here again? Absolutely!!

Morgan and Maggie were AWESOME. This restaurant has a fun but VERY busy atmosphere. We had the Copperpot pizza and everything about it was delicious! Even the crust! We'll definitely be returning!

Some of the best pizza I've had in my life! I can't compliment this place enough. Me and my husband were in Clarkesville for a week and thankfully discovered this gem at the beginning of our trip. We went here several times and never had a single bad meal. Everything was beyond wonderful, including their burgers and chicken sandwiches. But our absolute favorites were the margarita pizza and the creme brulee. The pizza tasted so so fresh and high quality. We definitely don't have pizza this good in Kennesaw! Also, everyone here was super friendly and attentive. We'll probably have to come up and visit for a weekend soon just to come here!

Margarita pizza is sooo good. The crust is perfect! Best pizza we have had since we moved to n ga. There is also a meatball appetizer that is quite yummy! Have not tried anything else but everything that comes out of the kitchen looks great! Will definitely be back

The service was on point and the food was good too! I had a white personal pizza with spinach, onions and green peppers and a cesear salad. Definitely a spot I would visit again when up here.

The Arugula Io salad is wonderful, generously dotted with goat cheese and I loved digging for the little slices of dried golden figs in it.
We two shared a large Hey You Guys pizza, and it was amazingly tasty, an unexpected comingling of unusual flavors that were a delight to the palate: marinara, balsamic glaze, goat cheese. Mozzarella, caramelized onions and a topping of baby arugula.
It was big enougj that we brought half the pizza home!
The service was a little slow but we sympathized -- everyone is struggling to find staff -- and we enjoyed the leisurely pace. The staff are pleasant, the restaurant is open and interesting and the food is worth the wait. It was reassuring to see the teamwork as they paced seating to ensure a manageable flow and pleasant experience for all concerned. Signs warn of the wait and encourage reservations.
The Copper Pot is a great dining experience and worth the visit to Clarkesville!

Yes, please! We were just driving through and needed a place to eat. I picked it because it was on our route and it sounded good. I was not wrong. And we had leftover pizza and it heated up perfectly in the toaster oven two days later. Like, go here and you won't regret it.

I had a delicious pizza most recently, a special that was a carbonara about a month ago, and both were a wonderful experience! The owner is very personable, and friendly. I highly recommend. Bring your appetite!

Beautiful restaurant, in a really cool town. We drove over after visiting Tallulah Falls and were very pleasantly surprised. The positive reviews they have are well deserved. The service was excellent, everyone was super accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious. We had the Alpine burger and a pizza, both great. The portion sizes are large. Their cocktails are delicious as well. If you had told me that I would like a whiskey cocktail that had sweet potato as an ingredient, I wouldn't have believed you. Definitely recommend stopping here. The only downside to my tastes are the paper straws, I don't like them, but that's not a deal breaker, of course.

Great find. The cuban sandwich on the fresh made bread was amazing, we also ordered a personal pizza which was excellent as well. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. The food took just a little longer than ideal, but otherwise, very recommended.

Love, Love! Always great service and food! Many longtime and dedicated employees whom I’m always happy to see. Even very kind during a situation in which the party I reserved a table outside for kept getting larger. Bailey and Maggie were wonderful with helping me for everyone in with, still, impeccable service! Always tasty pizza and just look at the fries in the picture…crispy outside with beautiful inside.

Absolutely one of the best steaks I've ever had. The creme brulee could not have been more perfect. Even the french fries were pleasing. Fortunate to have this restaurant in my backyard. I don't have any pictures because we ate it all too fast!

Great customer service! Awesome food! Very delicious and unique alcoholic beverages. Burgers are unique and very delicious. Very accommodating to my dairy allergy. Photos are of two burgers without buns.

Came here for lunch on a Sunday and got the but one get one free pizza. The pizza was pretty good, the crust was thin and it got a little soggy but it was still good. We ordered two personal pizzas so for $6 each after the discount it was worth it.

However the pizza isn't nearly as good as Chicago's Pizza that's only a few minutes away, so if you're wanting pizza I'd definitely recommend Chicago's instead.

12-11-22 This was our 1st time visiting & we loved everything about it. Wonderful atmosphere & delicious food. The strawberry salad was out of this world! We will definitely be back!

Great location with beautiful surroundings. Walkable to downtown, with a mountain drive just around the corner.
The service was great, with a friendly & helpful staff.
The food & drinks were amazing!
The cracklin' chicken sandwich was great, and I chased it down with a chocolate orange old fashioned.
My wife had the bacon cheddar grits with chicken and a drop cheddar biscuit. She loved every bite!
This is a must stop when in Clarksville.

Went here after my wedding and the food and service was amazing. They offered to put my cake in the fridge and were so accommodating! I really wish I had gotten the ladies name that helped us, she was so nice and helpful. Went above and beyond for my party!!
