Ochsner Health Center - Central

I’m so grateful for choosing Ochsner Health Center - Central for all my health care needs as well as my family members. Everyone on staff has truly shown that our health care needs are their top priority and make sure we have everything we need to get through the tough parts with their kind hearts and dedicated experience.

When I arrived at the Central office for my 8:00 appointment, I checked in using My Chart. I was given the OK to enter and was quickly taken to the exam room. The nurse who took my vitals was very courteous. The doctor came in quickly and was thorough in going over my recent labs.
I received excellent treatment while at the Central office.

All The Staff Is Very Friendly, Knowledgeable, And Professional. I Have Been Going To This Location For Approximately 5 Years. My Doctor And His Staff Carefully Explain To Me My Plan Of Care/Treatment Plan. All Of My Tests Are Ordered In A Timely Manner. At Every Dr's Appointment, The Nurse Go Over All Of My Current Medications. She Will Also Ask, If I'm Having Any Side Effects From Any Of My Medication. This Location Also Is Following The CDC And Ochsner Medical Center Guidelines Related To Coronavirus. I Have Recommended Several Of My Family Members And Friends To This Location, " Ochsner Medical Center, Sullivan RD, In Central, LA".

Everyone is always so nice. From Carolyn checking you in so kindly and truly remembering who you are to Nurse Sonya who always makes you feel at ease, laugh, and lift your spirits no matter how you're feeling, to Dr. Brignac who is the most compassionate, easy to talk to, caring, and knowledgeable doctor. Which is why my whole family has been going there for years.

Dr Brignac is an amazing Dr she also set me up with digital medicine I recommend this for anyone with diabetes or blood pressure. She also makes sure I’m making all my other appointments by scheduling me for my other dr and makes getting my monthly medicine easy never had a refill not go through . Thank you for being such an amazing Dr and caring for your patients . Thank you again Dr Brignac and Oschner

Dr Brignac is very professional and kind. You can tell she is concerned and wants the best for her patients.
I stopped having a primary doctor for many years due to the lack of communication and care.
Now I have a primary physician again.
Im glad I went to see her. She's the best

Wonderful experience! The nurse practioner I spoke to listened to my complaints and prescribed the medication I needed. She was right on target. I felt better immediately. This was a virtual visit with Alisha Thomas, NP. I will definetly call again if needed.

Dr Holmes is the greatest! He's been my Dr since 1999. He's very personable and genuinely a nice person and great physician. Angel Douglas,MA is a godsend to his pts. She is so sweet and professional and frankly gets the job done, regardless of what hat she's wearing that day. She would be running that clinic if I was the boss.
The MA that took my vitals, etc on this visit, I forgot her name, she was new to me. She's AA, long braids, absolutely beautiful and super super sweet! I hope she is a permanent addition to Dr Holmes' team. She is very professional while also being very personable.
I will see Dr Holmes until the day he retires. Then I will cry. Lol
Love Ochsner, great job on the Covid restrictions.
Oh, and I cannot forget Carolyn at the front desk who is an angel. Such a sweet woman, known her for years now. She knows who I am when I walk in the door. That's the kind of welcome that makes you feel at home.
I hope the people I've mentioned will be notified that they have a fan. 😁

My PCP is outstanding. She takes her time during the appointment. I never feel rushed. She listens to my health concerns. Highly recommend.

It was my 1st visit to this facility, Ochsner Central, and my primary care physician. I give them the highest regards and ratings for overall care, performance, and taking time for the patients!!! Great experience and I will be back!

The whole office runs efficiently with very little waiting and prompt attention. The physician allows plenty of time to be thorough with her examination, explanations and instructions. Very good experience…..

Everyone that I encountered from the Dr, intern, nurse, lab tech and X-ray were awesome. So very willing to help. A very positive experience. They all should get a raise.
