Caliente Mexican Craving | Central City, LA

Trying something new and different. Came here with a friend and it’s upbeat with some great colors on the walls. All the staff are awesome when greeting me.
So it’s not traditional Mexican, but I got plenty to eat and the prices are very reasonable.
The restaurant is clean and even for a Sunday they were getting busy so that means I will have to come back for some more.

Great customer service. Sampler platter was great, love the egg rolls . Excellent choice when you can’t make up your mind. Satisfied Customer

This little restaurant is one of the best I found in Central amazing food very good customer the prices or very good also this young lady that was our waitress her name is Lily she was wonderful

Ordered takeout and the fajitas were so delicious. Alot of food.

Very sweet staff and delicious food! They gave me samples of all the margaritas to try before I ordered. They were fun to mix lol. And potent!

Always Great Food and Great Service. Fantastic Drink Specials. Tonight was no exception, but I did notice that the Menus were nasty dirty and smelled pretty funky. Live Music on Tuesday was fantastic

They have great good! The queso is great, and their salsa is always fresh! You definitely need to go for their Sunday brunch! It is a must!

Great food (even better margaritas) and lovely staff! They are always so accommodating to a large group and my kid loves their queso.

Isaiah was absolutely awesome! He was very attentive and friendly. He made sure my experience was nothing short of great. The entire staff seemd happy and the restaurant was clean. The street tacos lived up to its name and were delicious. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks again!

Brisket and Mac and cheese tacos. Yup, you read it right! Amazing! Great service, fast and friendly. The night we were there they had live music. Seemed like local talent and it was pretty nice. Will definitely go back the next time we're in the area.

Really good Mexican cuisine. I would definitely recommend eating here. The food is good and the service is excellent.

RAVE about Caliente!

Ricardo is the BEST! We ordered a chicken nacho bar for KK’s swim fiesta today. He came and personally set everything up and went above and beyond to make sure we were good to go.

Love supporting local, especially when they treat you like family!

Good tempered employees, they took good care of us. The bathrooms were clean. Everyone working there that I saw were smiling and polite. Good environment for friends having lunch or meeting up to fellowship after church. They have yummy food made fresh in the kitchen. We will go back to visit this restaurant again with our friends after church.

The food was great and our waitress was amazing! She was so sweet to my daughter when ordering and even offered to help her with her ketchup. I ordered the steak fajitas and they were really good. I look forward to going back again.

Food was totally awesome.... It was really delicious and you got a lot of it, and the prices were really good also. We had enough food leftover, that we ate lunch with the rest of it.... We did pick up/carry out. Food was ready within the time frame they suggested. Very polite, helpful, friendly staff. But I was TOTALLY AMAZED WITH THE QUALITY AND QUANTITY OF THE FOOD.

We loved the food. It was delicious and fresh. Even better was the service! Tanya was an amazing server. She was fast, friendly, and anticipated all of our needs. We will definitely be back.

Great food! Reasonable prices! They do NOT charge any fees for paying with credit card. Their Flan is the best!

Great place to go for affordable Mexican food. Has a nice feel inside with a very friendly and helpful staff. They do offer different alcoholic beverages and Margaritas. They have happy hour for buy one get one too and they're a very large size. It's probably the best of the local Mexican restaurants. Caliente and Velvet Cactus are the only places I'll eat for Mexican cuisine.

Really good chicken caliente dish. Had a really
good flavor. I didn't really care for the salsa. And the white queso we sent back to be reheated and it still wasn't warm enough. But the service was good, the atmosphere was nice. The Elvis tribute artist was really a good bonus! We will go back for the chicken dish and the Elvis artist Jayson Alfano.

Caliente has amazing food. I have tried other places and no one else can come close to Caliente! It is by far my most favorite Mexican restraunt and I belive it will be for a very long time. The prices are fair. Everything is amazing, even the margaritas :) you won't be disapointed!!!
