Po-Boy Express

This was my favorite Po-Boy express so far.
Their Po-Boy was really good, plenty of shrimp.
I really like how their onion rings are sliced thin and they gave this glorious sauce to go with it.

The staff was much more friendly and personable. It's nice to see places where the staff hasn't decreased their attention after the pandemic.
I hope they are taking care of their staff because a lot of other places have not been able to keep up with inflation.

The price was very reasonable.

We even had them make three more orders to go after eating here.

Great for a quick stop and having a delicious sub.

Before I begin, they are DRIVE THRU ONLY right now so no takeout unless you're in a car. They were very busy, and for good reason. The staff was happy & friendly and made the food quickly. I got a shrimp po boy and breaded mushrooms. SO DELICIOUS! The mushrooms were fantastic and the shrimp sandwich was awesome. Perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice. My only complaint would be that the sandwich needs more shrimp! LOL. It was all wonderful, tho and I highly recommend eating here.

Shrimp po-boy was awesome, and the onion rings and fried pickles were the best I've had!

What's visiting from out of town came exactly at closing time and me and my family were still allowed to order!!! The manager was great gave us a detailed overview of the menu and what to order. We had Shrimp Po Boys and homemade onion rings try this when you can

Visiting from Texas. Great meal at a reasonable price. Extremely nice employess - even though we came in a half hour before closing.

Great food, friendly and warm staff. You shouldnt drive through Louisiana without eating a Po' boy.

I only visited the drive thru, but the attendant was very friendly. The wait wasn't long and was it ever worth it! The best onion rings ever and they give you a ton. My shrimp poboy was delish too.

Really good poboy for the price! Shrimp were fresh and battered perfectly & the seasoned fries were delicious! Excellent customer service, I ordered ahead by phone & had no issues. Drive thru was a little long, but considering it was the middle of lunch time it really wasn't that long of a wait. Highly recommend!

The shrimp is absolutely amazing! Nicely seasonsed and crispy. I got a shrimp basket and a shrimp poboy! The poboy was STUFFED with shrimp! It was little popcorn shrimp, but they were spilling out of the sides and onto the plate. So good and a good sized portion! The shrimp basket/plate came with salad and fries. But I think you can pick your own sides. What an amazing resturant! And the prices are not bad at all! I been to many seafood places all over Louisiana, and this is one of my favorite. It might even be THE favorite!

The best thing I’ve had in my trip to Baton Rouge! I loved their fried Okra, fried mushrooms, and stuffed jalapeños!
I got the shrimp philly cheese.. and it was so good. Bread is fresh and soft.. shrimps taste so good and tasteful! I would totally recommend that you make a stop here if you’re around.

Staff is super nice and fast!

The food sometimes takes a while, but it's delicious and so worth it. The drive thru is weird lol I love the shrimp Ppboy, shrimp basket, and the roast beef poboy with the gravy. Their poboy bread is the best!! Highly recommended!!!

Although the drive up and restaurant looks humble, they do have awesome poboys. The bread is nice and soft, not overly thick. They pile on the 🍤 or other seafood of choice. Ask for it dressed-- with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Yum!!

We got the shrimp poboy and NY style cheesesteak poboy. They are both super good, but not the best in town that I've had. But still in the top 3. The bread they use is great. The fried mushrooms side, though, is the show stopper. The drive-thru took about 10 minutes but it is worth the wait.

Oh my goodness!!! This place is stuff your face good. Tons of delicious food for exceptional prices. Favorites are the ham & swiss, shrimp, and number #16. Drive thru window makes it super convenient to get your fix.

Great service, good food! I got the catfish platter which came with 5 pieces of catfish, fries, and a piece of garlic bread. Only comment is that the lemonade was a bit watery.

Will Montoya is the Manager of this location and very friendly.
We both had a Shrimp PoBoy which was flavorful and excellent. One order had their shoestring onion rings which they serve with a special sauce. The other order had French Fries and all was seasoned nicely.

There is an asphalt parking lot with a handicap space next to the wheelchair ramp. They have high chairs, a TV, bar seating are with stools, double booths, nice granite tabletops, the booth, seating was comfortable.

It was a bit chilly so he adjusted the temperature for us. The food was plentiful and just over $21.00 for the 2 of us. I am bringing half of my food home.

I took pictures for you all to see including Will in one, with his permission. They use Waiter app for food delivery and have a drivethru. The diningroom was not busy but drivethru had several cars on it when we left.

I recommend this place and thank y'all who previously reviewed, helping us choose this establishment for an enjoyable supper.
