The owners are amazing and so sweet! We had the 8 inch Shrimp PoBoy, 8 inch Roast Beef PoBoy, side of jambalaya, and side of jalapeño mac & cheese. The Roast Beef PoBoy is a sandwich I never knew I needed to try. It was so messy and I think that made it taste even better. Everything was delicious. And the portion sizes are more than generous. We were just driving down the road, saw the restaurant (perfect storefront placement), and decided to stop. So glad we did.

Funky little hole in the wall crabshack in NOLA! We ordered the oyster and shrimp Po boy and boy did we get a gigantic sandwich. There were so many fried oysters and shrimp on the Po-boy that they were spilling out all over onto our wrapping paper. I'm not kidding the sandwich is so huge that we will be eating the remainder of it for dinner tonight. If you want a great Seafood Po boy experience go to Crabby jack's!

My co-worker told me about this little joint, and I decided to give it a try today. I was not disappointed at all! I've had duck many times in the past, but never had it as a poboy. It was amazing!! Great flavor, very tender, and they definitely weren't stingy with the amount given. The guy who took my order gave great customer service and new the product very well! Pretty cool place with awesome decor! I definitely wanna try some other things on the menu!

Had roast beef po boy, and 1/2 rack ribs and potato salad.

This place is great! Probably my favorite poboys in the city. I had their fried chicken today which was fantastic (except I like mine spicy which this one is not). Still very yummy though and has crispy pickles on top which added a nice tanginess. Lunch specials change daily and their hours are short... Order ahead of time on the phone to avoid the line.

My wife brought home shrimp Cesar salads that were so good. Lettuce and dressing were perfect but that shrimp was amazing. Cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection! Will definitely be going back to check out the rest of the menu.

LOVE IT! It's a small space, but it's setup great! Food is absolutely amazing, the service was great, and the environment allows you to socialize with others (you know, that thing everyone used to do before COVID) This place is a must to try at least once, but I bet you'll be back!

Good food, not fancy decor, good prices. Will return

Just came from the dentist and I got two teeth pulled and was very hungry so I stopped by Crabby Jack's to order some shrimp and the guy recommended he has dirty rice and macaroni and I really appreciate the little guy with the Gray beard at the front counter he was awesome he had the best attitude he really made my day the food was awesome and the price was wonderful I recommend this spot to anyone in the macaroni is pretty good

Great New Orleans food. Stuffed Mirlitons with fried shrimp is a classic. Poboy sandwiches, potato salad and crisp onion rings are excellent. You love the all the Louisiana art signs on wall. Super friendly staff and quick service.

We stopped here and specifically took an uber so we could get a decent meal before we left Nola. The waitresses were super friendly, and I loved the little quick lunch spot. We got a fried half chicken and an oyster po boy. The fried Chicken was truly descended from the gods. Crispy cracklin skin. Not too much breading. Some pickles and the Mac n cheese with jalapeños was just classic. The oyster Po boy was also delicious, and definitely the bread made it. The chicken takes about 20-25 minutes so make sure you give yourself enough time. Just order it. And if you’re a tourist YES it’s worth the uber ride. They also have a nighttime restaurant which I will try next time. The ladies in the kitchen are fierce cooks and I commend their efforts!

First time in Louisiana, first place I chose to eat at when I got here. Oh my gosh, the bread pudding!!! It was boiling hot and had caramel sauce and coconut in it. You have to get it. Then I got a shrimp po boy which was delicious!!! The service was friendly and the cashier even brought my food to me and got me and my boyfriend a napkin and fork. I could not have been happy. No wait time at 11:00 when I went and I got the food in 5 minutes. And it was super clean!

If you stop by order the “Dirty Mac”. It’s not on the menu and very well worth the $1.50 up charge!!

Omg!!! The best duck po boy I've ever tasted. My hubby swore this was the best place. I'm so happy I went with him. Lawd have mercy,!! another favorite place to eat in New Orleans via Metairie. Don't sleep on this place... wow

We are very impressed with our dinner! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was so awesome! Real NAWLINS food! Great atmosphere. Comfort and cozy. Laid back. Can't wait to come back!

I really enjoyed the food at Crabby Jack's today. The place is kind of unique in its own way. It has cafeteria style seating which is okay if the place isn't too crowded. However, the staff is very friendly and are willing to help. So you order your food and give them your name and wait for a short time while they prepare for you. The wait isn't bad at all and the food comes out nice and hot just the way you like it! Bring an appetite if you care for one of their oversized po boys. They are absolutely delicious and worth every penny

We got the fried chicken for takeout. It takes 20-25 minutes because they cook it to order. It was worth the wait! Would definitely go again. There were a few other things if like to try, but it will be hard to pass on the chicken.

Our last meal before we head back home, my first Po-Boy ! It was awesome. So filling, so much food. Service was great.

The #1 thing I miss about living in Louisiana is the food. Anytime I go home the first thing I grab is a fried shrimp poboy. Crabby Jack's did NOT disappoint. It was perfect!
