Restaurant was fairly plain in decor but very clean. We came in right before closing the day before a holiday. But they didn't rush us. The food was amazing. I've never had such clean tasting shrimp. I know that sounds strange, but they were just so full of flavor. The sides were all really good. I ordered more to go. And the staff was fun and friendly. Highly recommended.

This is our first time in the New Orleans area. I wanted to "go where the locals go" and I found it! 3SG food was amazing and so so good. While I was here, several regulars came in to confirm this is the local place. Food was comforting, made fresh, and settled so well. A perfect way to start the day after a rough night flying in. Thank you 3SG for sharing your talents and skills. I will definitely visit again when in the area.

I was really excited to try soul food, I was recommended by a teacher to come here and my expectations were highh!!

I got the chicken wings platter entree with Mac and cheese, peas and potato salad. The side dishes complimented the wings. Everything was seasoned so well and it was delicious. My friend got the hot patties and fries, the fries were crispy and hot! Everything was hot and fresh so gooooood!

Local diner. Very clean. Great service. Fresh and made to order - The food is delicious. Thank you. Can’t wait to come back.

The food is very tasty. I love the gumbo and grilled cheese. Reminds me of my mom’s good, home cooked meals.

The food was so good I bit my finger while eating the chicken!! These ladies know their way around the kitchen, and I'm so happy I gave them a try. I got the cabbage plate with fried chicken, cornbread, & candied yams and everything was DELICIOUS!! I'm coming back soon. Keep up the great work ladies!

I had the fried fish, my associate had the red beans and rice. I'm not a southern boy but she said they were very good and my fish was tasty. Make sure to check the hours before you go they aren't open every day or very late in the evening.

One of the best local lunch joints in Jefferson. I love the red beans and rice! Which comes with warm, delicious cornbread!!

Then move on to the perfectly fried fish and shrimp and okra and hell, everything they fry is delicious.

The family story is great. Cant wait til they get beer and wine!!

When I travel from home, I like to find local restaurants. When I searched restaurants, three Southern girls came up. The food was amazing. The service was fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. If you are looking for local delicious food, you need to go here.

Great no-frills Southern fare; to go or to sit down and eat. Very nice ladies run it. Food is fresh and portions are nice.

I think I've had everything on the menu at this point and the food is amazing. The service is even better. I usually get to-go food but the few times I've eaten there, they treat you like family. They even remembered me last time bc the time before that I panicked after my toddler knocked over a drink lol. They were so kind about it and wouldn't even let me clean it, they understood that sometimes kids make messes. It feels like I'm eating at my mom's house lol. Love this place and the people who work here!

I loved my visit today and food it was well seasoned and very southern style meals 🥰.

Absolutely amazing! Fried shrimp and grilled shrimp were awesome! Fried fish, on point! Healthy portions served with care, and by that I mean my fried foods were separate from my potato salad and Mac n cheese. We ordered take out. Absolutely love the way it was prepared for take out A+++. Nothing but good to say about this place! As far as personal preferences go, mac and cheese could be a tad cheesier, and potato salad veggies could be less chunky, overall that’s a preference of my own and the taste of both were amazing so don’t take that the wrong way :) would recommend 10/10 for dinner or lunch!

I’ve been to this restaurant twice and it’s a nice down home soul food joint. It really tastes like Mawmaw’s cooking. The food is always fresh and flavorful.The prices are good for the portions you get. And I LOVE the old school jams they play…good jams and good food is THE vibe for me !

Great tasting food. And that compliment is coming from a food critic himself. Home cooked food that you do not have to do nothing to but eat it. My 1st time here today and I will be back tomorrow!!!

This is a hidden gem in Jefferson parish! From the customer service to the fresh/delicious food, it’s a must try!! I had the fish plate and gumbo one day and had to go back for the shrimp sandwich THE NEXT DAY! This food sooo good Nothing (and I mean nothing) compare to this in Jefferson parish!

Great meal! Got chicken, fried fish, cabbage, yams, onion rings, and cornbread. Great taste, some of the best cabbage I’ve ever eaten. Only complaint would be high salt level, but that may be because I don’t eat much salt in my normal diet. Loved it will definitely be back. Also, ordered online and it was ready very quickly.

Delicious, fresh, homemade food that makes you think of your Mama! Staff is nice and the food has always been yummy. This place is a little, hidden gem that will always make you wanna come back! Highly recommend.

I had the cabbage,fish yams w cornbread... it was delicious and I had enough left for later. I ate in and enjoyed a pleasant conversation with one of the owners. I will pray for your continued success and will refer you often.

Seating area is small. Not fast paced unless you get tge lunch specials. However worth the wait. Shrimp and catfish was fried perfect. I really enjoyed the food. Highly recommend this place.
