Isy Bell's Cafe is a homey, charming, welcoming place. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The service is friendly and just outstanding. We couldn't finish our meals, so we had to take the rest of our meals home. (YUM!)

Amazing Gem! This was my first visit but definitely won’t be my last. Not only was the food good but the atmosphere was really nice. The restaurant was super clean and the staff was really friendly. My salad was so fresh! We ordered the Gyro platter liver and onions/Jumbalya and fried calamari and pickles were appetizers. Everything was delicious. large portions. Great presentation. Great flavors.

This is such a cute little hole in the wall Cafe. I absolutely love these types of places. Gives me a small town feel where everyone knows everyone. The food was good as were portion sizes, I just wish my chicken tenders weren't like jerky. I would much rather them be over done than underdone though.we will definitely be back though i am going to go outside if the chicken tender aspect. Get the home fries. Delicious. No wait either for Sunday brunch time. Two people breakfast cost 23 dollars. Tip your servers more than 20% on bills like that because they aren't overpriced and they are just sweethearts.

Food, first and foremost, was excellent. This was the first time my wife and I had eaten here, and she stated her patty melt was one of the best she's ever had...she knows her patty melts! I had a cheeseburger that tasted excellent! The chef made a happy face with the burger's condiments, but I don't mind getting a kid's meal occasionally. Our friend had a cheese steak that was a true cheese steak... perfectly chopped meat with plenty of cheese. Our fave was the French fries and ranch. It wasn't just any ranch from a bottle, no sir! It was homemade and creamy and...just perfect french fry ranch. Delicious food and great atmosphere! NOTE TO SELF: Don't sit in the back booth by the hidden door and "time-out" chair, or that awesome server Ryan will continue to enjoy scaring the hell out of me. We all thought that was just hilarious! Thankfully I made it home without wet pants!

Great family restaurant! I grew up in a restaurant my family had and this reminds me of it. Lots of local people, very friendly staff and visitors, and fantastic food with large portions!! I’m a little old fashioned and this place is too!

First time here and what a winner this was! The pic is AFTER I ate! Pimento Cheeseburger...it was so good! Husband had the Humdinger and he loved it. The place is really pretty inside and the service was excellent. For the money $10.50 for each including 1 side...you cannot beat it. Beware...this burger is bigger than you think. Be very hungry or get a to go box! You won't regret coming here.

I had the fried calamari Greek salad and my husband had the Mahi Mahi tacos. Both dishes were delicious.
9/29/2022 - woke up to power outage in my home. I sent my husband to Isy Bell's to get me coffee and scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns. The coffee was even better than what I make at home. The eggs, bacon, hash browns, and biscuit were exceptionally delicious 😋. I see this becoming a regular stop for us. I look forward to many more delicious meals.

We had dinner for 50 prepared. The guests could not say enough about how good the food was! We were assured we would have plenty for our guests and boy did we!

This is such a great local restaurant for good food, service, reasonable prices and good friendly service! The menu has a great variety also having daily specials that are always wonderful! There is county cooking offered along with Greek & Italian dishes everything I have tried has been delicious! There is plenty of room for large groups. O

Decided to give this local "mom and pop" restaurant in downtown a try today and I'm so glad I did!! I believe my waitresses name was Alicia..very nice and quick. I came in for a quick lunch, ordered one of the lunch specials with a sweet tea...the philly cheese steak with fries! DELICIOUS!!!! The philly came with provolone cheese, onions, peppers and juicy thin sliced steak. I didn't even have to put any steak sauces on the sandwich.. Gotta stop by here if you in the downtown area and hungry!!

Great hidden Gem! I'm from Winston-Salem and found them on Google. I was not disappointed! Delicious southern classics and more!

I'd give 12 stars if I could! This place is extremely clean, bathrooms included (the women's restroom even has a changing pad for moms and tots!). The portions were extravagant for the price and my mother and I filled up so much on the appetizers that we barely had room for our dinner. April was our waitress and she was simply a doll. The ranch is outstanding, and the lasagna is so covered in melted cheese that I had to have help getting a single bite. This place will become a must for us whenever we visit Mooresville!

We LOVE Isy Bells!! I have no idea why this place isn't higher scored in stars, but it should be. We found this charming restaurant because we're building a house nearby. We're so happy to have this gem near our soon to be home. We've tried multiple different entrees for breakfast lunch and dinner on our visits to Isy Bells and everything has been good. I love the gyro pita and the pork chops. My husband loves the cheeseburger and the fried chicken sandwich. Our kids love the spaghetti and grilled cheese sandwiches. The onion rings are great. The fruit cup is so good and is fresh fruit. We highly recommend this place to.

If you love a local long time country restaurant you will love Ist Bell. When you walk in you immediately feel it's like home. Greeted like family. Very wide menu selection, large food portions, with excellent service all at a reasonable price. Make sure you check the 4 ft high daily menu specials at the door when you come in.Enjoy this wonderful Mooresville gem.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem while searching for comfort food in Mooresville. A cute little place, clean, and the sweetest, young waiter that went out of his way to help me when I was traveling an hour to pass through and get take out. I don't know his name, but he was so kind and pleasant and immediately recognized me, although me only spoke over the phone, when I came in to pick up our food. Generous portions and delicious! I will definitely be returning when I pass through town again!

What a gem of a place. Staff is super nice and friendly. It’s dog friendly on the patio. The food is wonderful and very reasonably priced. This is my first time but won’t be last.
