Mario's Pizza

The pizza makers here are amazing they give the kids dough and encourage them to watch them make pizzas. It makes dining at this place a whole experience! Food is always yummy. I wish they wouldn't charge for ranch because I love ranch and we typically spend a good amount of money here so I feel like they make plenty without having to charge for ranch.

My co-worker and I have been spending a fair amount of time working in Winston-Salem.
Trying out new places for a meal definitely breaks up the monotony.
We happened upon this particular Mario's towards the end of the week.
It was so good that we went right back 2 days later.
A very low-key, comfortable, and relaxing vibe was what we found.
The staff members were exceptionally friendly. The restaurant was very well maintained, as were the restrooms. Everything was handicap accessible.
I'm from Philly, and my co-worker is from NY.
We tried the pizza, Stromboli, Philly Cheesesteaks, and the Cajun seasoned fries. All of these menu items exceeded our expectations.
The pizza had a thin crust and plenty of toppings. The Stromboli came with sauce and cheese, and you picked 3 additional stuffings to complete your order. There was not a single vacant space left inside.
The Philly Cheesesteak came with mushrooms, peppers, and onions. We chose to add some extra cheese as well. The roll was toasted with a nice crunch. But the inside was soft enough to hold everything together.
Suffice it to say that we were both very impressed with our orders.

I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express (Miller Road) and was craving some Italian food. Mario's is a few hundred feet from the Holiday Inn Express and decided to give it a try. I had the chicken parmesan and it was AWESOME!! It came with a garden salad and garlic knots! Bigger than expected portion sizes and everything tasted really fresh. I'll be coming back when I'm back in Winston-Salem!

Second visit...trip to the holiday inn express right next door to be close to the hospital last week...decided to walk over to get pizza absolutely the best pizza I've had in a while with fast service...the cheeseteak had to me an overwhelming amount of green peppers and onions but it was still very good!! came back to visit this week and stopped in Mario's for a cheeseteak with no O+GP...and another slice of pizza...very satisfied with the quality and the customer service...very sweet order taker and patient helpful cooks...in a tough time they put a smile on my face that was much needed...and clean bathrooms!!

Mario’s is a staple in this city. They make their food fresh and have great service. Would be pricey but they have daily specials.

I travel for work and I am happy I came here for a couple slices. I've been traveling to places that say that they make NY style pizza but get disappointed every time. The pepperoni slices were so good, and definitely had that NY style flavor.

They have the best Cheesesteak in Winston Salem😋 and their wings and pizza's are so good too😋❤❤❤❤

There are three locations in Winston Salem. One is at Clemmons near West high school, another in the Target and Michael's shopping center, and the third in Cloverdale, by Panera and Publix.

The taste is just like the pizza from New York! In fact, there are black and white pictures of workers on steel beams as the New York skyscrapers were being erected gracing the walls of these restaurants! How the construction workers were able to walk, sit, and work without a safety net or safety belts is nothing short of amazing!

Anyway, enjoy the delicious authentic flavors, the delightful atmosphere, and services! You can't go wrong at any of the three locations!

Friendly neighborhood Italian restaurant. I'm staying at the hotel next door while my wife is at the hospital and they ask me every time I come in how she is doing.

This was a pick up for home. I was greeted upon entering and promptly received our order. Pizza was great as usual!! Can't go wrong with anything we have gotten here.

Mario's is the best Pizza in town. The portions are huge, and the food is out of this world. This little gem is usually not too busy for a quiet lunch with a friend or colleague and with the free refills, you can linger for awhile.

Mario’s Pizza is the best ! Moving here from NJ in 1993 I missed good NY Pizza . I tried Mario’s when they opened the Hanes Mall Location .This is it for me , I found what I missed from NJ/NY . Now there are many locations and offer consistent good serving and good pizza at all locations . Since 1999 I been going to the Cloverdale location because it’s close to home . Last night I visited Cloverdale for a medium pizza . The manager and cooking team were awesome ! Friendly and thankful . So, when you think of pizza pick up the phone and order from Mario’s !

The best place come eat have dinner in with family

Wonderful Brooklyn-style pizza. Every bit as good as what I've gotten on the streets of Manhattan. The garden salad was surprisingly good too. I try to make myself feel better about the pizza I'm gorging on by tossing back a little salad with it! Highly recommended.
