Two story high coffee shop/wonderful hangout location in Statesville. You will see plenty of people work or study during the day. Free wifi of course. They have limited food items, but plenty of drinks options. Coffee and wine.

Epic coffee experience. Freshly roasted beans and a fabulous place to chill and hang out. We got the cold brew which was amazing. Not iced coffee like reg coffee places. But truely the cold brew was so good, and I am a coffee snob that used to roast my own beans.

Lake Mountain Coffee is a great place to get some coffee and just relax doing what you love. I could see myself coming here to read a book or a nice quiet place to get some work done. The food options here are limited. However, for a coffee shop, it has plenty of great options. My family was very pleased with our drinks and food. The service was amazing. As soon as we got there, we had one person ahead of us in line. We were a party of 4, the server placed all our orders quickly and advised us where to pick up our food afterward. Our drinks and food were ready very quickly. The atmosphere is beyond amazing. If you love history and old architect, this shop is a must see. After enjoying our drinks and food, we took a walk around the coffee shop and enjoyed all the old pictures of Statesville at it prime. I would definitely recommend visiting the coffee shop. It will not disappoint. We ordered light coffee with cream and it was perfect. Not to strong or bitter. There was plenty of sitting plus sitting outside as well. We will definitely be back.

The coffee is great (and hot chocolate), and the service is awesome! The two young ladies made my coffees quickly, with excellent flavor. They’ve got plenty sitting room with a guitar in one corner. The atmosphere is nice, comfortable, and welcoming. I would recommend if you’re in the area!

What an adorable place! Clean, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. A variety of coffee drinks and wine are available but the best part - very friendly and competent staff! It’s so rare and hard to find these days.

This place is so aesthetically pleasing and pleasant. Group of us stopped in Sunday afternoon after lunch. My friends gots drinks priced from $4 to $8. They said it was very refreshing. While they were waiting on their orders, I was getting lost upstairs. This is a great place if you want to work from home outside of your home. Roomy if you need to set up off to the side for a zoom meetong. They have wifi. Staff is friendly. Would love to visit and just be there.

Visited today had cappuccinos and pastry everything tasted great and cappuccino was nice and hot for over than 30 min which is amazing. It was a treat for sure. Pasties with fruit was not overly sugary which I absolutely love!!! So I can taste both pastry and jam with fruits by itself and yet all together. Lemon muffin was soft and with hint of real lemon nothing artificial. If I’m in the area will stop by for sure.

Absolutely best coffee shop ever! Amazing environment, and friendly baristas. Great place to hang out or get some studying done.

The cherry roll was absolutely soft, sweet, and amazing (that dough though!). We should have gotten more 🤤 The cider was also incredible. Tasted so fresh and warmed the soul. Will definitely stop by next time we come to Statesville.

Downtown Statesville wouldn’t be complete without this amazing coffee shop. I love coming here, getting my favorite drink and hanging out for a while. The upstairs seating makes this place unique and the open layout is inviting. Definitely check out next time you’re in Statesville!

Awesome coffee fairly priced. I'd definitely come back. My wife got a sugar free caramel latte and it's probably one of the top 5 we've ever had, and we aren't Starbucks folk.

Finally! A great downtown coffee shop that is so awesome, you want to just take your computer and work there all day! I love the upper balcony for privacy and a great view! They have some good sandwiches for lunch and wine! Come check it out. I might be there;-)

My favorite coffee shop! I'm here at least 5 times week. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. The coffee is top-notch. My little boys love the chocolate milk. The mocha shake is perfect for an afternoon treat and their draft beer selection always hits the spot at the end of a long day. Plus, they offer the social district cup so you can take your beer for a stroll downtown. I cannot recommend Lake Mountain Coffee enough!

Great coffee and great setting in historic hardware store building. When in downtown Statesville or need the area stop in for sure. Free parking on the street. Friends don't let friends drink chain coffee.

As I walk into this old building made of brick and mortar, the aroma of freshly brewed espresso enlightened my nose as I approached a gorgeous green eyed woman with a soft spoken voice at the register. The Spanish guitar playing felt inspiring and relaxed, the chitter chatter from the folks in this place made it lively. The chicken salad croissant was served warm, and crispy. As I sip my dirty chai latte the deep flavors of spice and warmth fill my mouth. I appreciate an excellent chai. Some modern touches have relevance, yet nostalgic old photos of what used to be create a dynamic and eclectic place of comfort. The ambiance in this place has me planning my return…

Had coffee here yesterday, having never been before and craving something NOT McDonalds like.

The staff were reasonably pleasant and the coffee was very hot and flavourful.

The prices were average for the market. We can not speak to the baked goods as we did not try them.

Fun little coffee place, right on the main drag. Worth the visit.
