4118 Kitchen + Bar

Decided to try this place because everything else on the main strip was packed or wasn't what we were looking for. We hopped in here and were pleasantly surprised to see interesting menu options (meatloaf sandwich). To be honest, an old menu item of duck egg rolls was what really called our attention but it was no longer featured. We had no problem finding other great choices. They also had happy hour specials on food that was priced just right! Our server was knowledgeable about the beer options which helped when wanting to pick something local.

Was such a great surprise to find this gem. We sat outside and enjoyed great weather. Service was amazing. The food was so yummy..

Wonderful brunch this AM. Friendly service. Some of the tasty quiche we’ve had in years. Will be back!.

We just dined here and found it to be absolutely charming. When you are tired of the higher priced and harder to get into restaurants along the main drag, this place is absolutely perfect. Great food, beer selection, and super friendly service. We can’t wait to return!

Great lunch spot. Smash burgers are great, beer is cold. Prices reasonable. We stop often for lunch.

Creative food items. Everything we had was delicious. Prices seem to reasonable. Semi-dive feel.

The food was delicious and you could tell it was homemade. Staff was also very friendly. The next time I'm going through town, I would definitely eat there again

Ducked in here to escape the thunderstorm. Must have been Providence! Chef Adam whipped us up some buttermilk marinated Chicken Strips and and a special Cuban Burger paired with the best made-to-order Mac and Cheese (with charred broccoli) we’ve ever had, EVER!
The bartender Sidney was super friendly and helped us with some local knowledge and food pics, not to mention Eric the manager who made us feel almost like we we’re locals.

One of the best meals on our trip. A local recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Ms. Sandy greated us soon after we sat down. This young lady new every thing that was on the menu, describing the ingredients, and the flavor. Hands down she's the best waitress we've ever had, and by far the most knowledgeable about how the food is prepared. My husband got the hamburger and I got the turkey club. We rated each a 10+. Honestly, I don't usually get excited about a sandwich....but this one is different, better than any turkey sandwich you've ever had before, I promise you that! Loved the atmosphere. Definitely a place we will go back to!

We found this little gem while looking for a different restaurant and getting lost and frustrated. We were extremely impressed with the menu. You can tell that the chef is creative. Our waitress Sandy (I think) was a doll. She made many recommendations and we both ended up with different sandwiches when we decided to be adventurous based on her recommendations. There are the basic comforts too for those that don’t want to be adventurous. Everything was wonderful!!! Could not have had a better experience.

My family and I ate at 4118 on Wednesday night and we were so glad we did. The young waitress greeted us with menus and made sure we had drinks and kept checking on us. Sandy our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable about the restaurant and the area. Our food was delicious and everyone (including kids) enjoyed their dinner. We will return as soon as we can to Highlands and will definitely be back to 4118.

We go to 4118 often, its always great! For lunch, in Highlands, the Smash Menu is the best & tastiest bargain in town! Get there early!

Highlands NC offers many places to eat. This is a great choice. Casual and comfortable with good food and service
