I love finding unique local shops when I go to a new town! This place has jams , jellies, sauces of all kinds. The owner is very helpful and nice to have a conversation with. Most of the products are made by him. The spicy fruit jellies are a reason to come in all by themselves. I highly recommend to anyone go check this place out! Take cash or checks though!

This store has a wide selection of jams which my daughter loves and we met the owner who was super friendly. The rock chocolates were my kid's favorite.

Definately recommend if your in the area and looking for speciality jarred items.

We ALWAYS make a special trip to AH when anywhere near Highlands. I've picked out my favorites. The green tomato pickles are a surprise and sweetly delicious. The caramel apple butter is the best apple butter I've ever tasted and I've been eating apple butter for over 60 years. The Christmas marmalade is amazing... Everything is delicious. It's a must see (and taste) to believe.

If you love sweet jams, marmalades, pickled veggies, pie fillings and so much more you have to make a stop here. The owners were super nice and informative. I can't wait to taste the fresh apple pie filling on some homemade waffles when I return home. Will definitely return here again when back in the area.

Visited this little gem of a store in September 2021. Owned and worked by a lovely family. Many varieties of homemade jams and jellies but if sweets aren’t your thing they also have pasta sauces and Bloody Mary mixes. Had their Paradise Pumpkin Butter on toast this morning; delicious. And no worries if you don’t live close by because they’ll ship directly to you.

Owners were super nice. I have memories of picking wild blackberries as a kid with my cousins and taking them to my granny. She would made blackberry pies among other things with them but the bees knees that everyone wanted was the blackberry jam. I’m 39. I have looked everywhere and never found anything that came close. App harvest has it!!! And the jar was still warm!!! This place is legit.

What an awesome place! We bought some strawberry rhubarb jam and while checking out we asked where we might get a strawberry rhubarb pie. To our delight she replied, “I can bake you one.” 24 hours later we were in pie heaven. Wow! The pie and the jam was incredible! We will certainly return next time we are in town. Thanks for making a great 60th BD memory.

It's refreshing to see a business stand up for their values and principles and not cower and submit to the mainstream. Freedom doesn't end where fear begins. I have been a customer of Appalachian Harvest for decades and have been a witness to their ups and downs and can say what good, hard working Americans these two are. I've been astounded how, through push back and adversity, Appalachian Harvest has not only survived, but is thriving while sticking to their beliefs. Have I mentioned their products? Every time I try something it becomes my new favorite! The Iced Green Tomatoes?! SHOWSTOPPER! The Peppered Jellies?! MUST-HAVE for meat lovers! The Pie Fillings?! Just get me a spoon. Thank you Appalachian Harvest for your excellent products, your unashamed belief in the Lord and your courage to stand up for common sense and freedom. Never change AH! No matter what bile the sheep spew at you, remember they hated HIM first. God bless you both, God bless America, and God bless every batch of Triple Crown Preserves!

This is the second year we have ordered Christmas Marmalade and Holiday Pepper Jelly for gifts. Everyone loved them so much that I reordered this year! Everything my husband and I have had from them has been delicious! If you are not in the mood for jam, try their pies!!!! Yummy

Enjoyed our visit with the owner who helped us navigate Highlands since it was our first time there. When we got home with our tasty products, it brought back wonderful memories of our 40th anniversary celebration. Time to order more goodies!

Mercy. I ordered a made-to-order Strawberry & Rhubarb pie from Appalachian Harvest. I picked it up the following day and was astounded by a) how perfect it looked and b) how much it weighed. There is no skimping on the fresh fruit filling here! It was absolutely delicious and clearly made with love. Thank you Appalachian Harvest! Also, can I have that crust recipe??

I met Kimberly,Kevin and sweetheart Trinity 14 years ago. I had Paula Dean Christmas magazine that had a article about this quant little shop in Cashiers,North Carolina. But the family lived in Franklin an d thats where I was with other family members.Well, I had to fine this shop that Paula liked so well.We found the shop and there I met Kevin. We had quite a talk and after I bought out the store..LOL,Kevin said Kimberly would be back soon.Well,we all went out to supper at this Mexican restaurant in Franklin.took some pictures and said our good buys. Just pass September my daughter put together a girls trip to Franklin North Carolina. After finding out the shop in Cashiers had closed we had to do a search as where did our dear friends go.BAM!!!!! found them in The Highlands. We walked in their shop and there was Kevin.Gave him just a few hints and he remembered me.Kimbely and Trinity was also there.Ther shop is adorable and again I bought out the store. And again we met at the same Mexican restaurant as we did 14 years ago.How wonderful it was to see them again. And Trinity, she has grown up to be a Precious child.I haven't know Kevin,Kimberly and Trinity like a lot of others has, just by reading different reviews, but when you meet these special people, they will treat you like family.Their hard work that they put into everything they do and their Love for their Lord will see them through most anything.I hope it won't be to lond my hubby and I can go back to The Highlands.
I have tried alot of their jams and jelly and don't pass up their Iced Green Tomatoes....YUMMY!!!!!!! Take care dear friends...Penny Schmidt...Gray,Iowa

Your store was closed today so we unfortunately could not purchase your products, but just to see your support for our great President was the best part of our trip to Highlands. Thank you for standing up & representing the feelings of so many that support good values.
