Mitchell Funeral Home at Raleigh Memorial Park

Our family used the services of Mitchell Funeral twice in the past year due to the deaths of our mother and father. Each time, the staff was compassionate and always made sure all went according to our parents' & my brother's & my wishes. I heartily recommend Mitchell to anyone who is in need of their services.

The service for our daughter handled by Mitchell Funeral Home was very professional and handled with dignity for all concerned. We would like to commend Stephen Mitchell and Brooke as well as all of the staff at Mitchell Funeral Home for providing such good and loving care to us during this difficult time.

The Staff and Funeral Director made sure that all our needs were met and offered all their services and allowed us to chose what we needed. Thursday was one of the hardest days of my life, my mom passed away and Mitchell Funeral Home provided the services. Planning a funeral is one of the most difficult things to go through while you are still mourning the loss of a loved one. Though it was Christmas time, Steve Mitchell and his staff generously guided us through the process step-by-step, as though it was a normal time of the year. Every detail was gently worked through with us with compassion and professionalism. They have a true understanding of what it is like to lose a loved one. We were devastated at the loss of my granddaughter at the age of 2 years and 11 months. I had never planned a funeral, and obviously not one for the death of a child.
Amy Barr and all the rest of the staff were absolutely phenomenal. I don't normally leave reviews and I never leave a 5 star review, because there is always room for improvement. I can honestly say that the people at this location are perfect, and absolutely have no room for improvement. From helping to plan the service to filling necklaces to working with the cemetery for a seamless transfer, everything was perfect. I received many, many compliments about how everything looked and how smooth everything went, and that had very little to do with me. All I did was sign some papers and provide a couple of documents and some pictures and they did everything else. They were so attentive to detail, one of the ladies there saw that I had some strings on my jacket and went and grabbed some scissors to cut the strings off for me. I had planned to record the service, but they offered to do that, which allowed me to spend my time with family. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did. If you have a loved one that has passed, you will not find a better place that will give the respect and compassion that is needed to make a difficult time less stressful than it already is. The service that was provided was above and beyond any expectations that I had.

The staff was amazing! Everyone was attentive, professional, and cordial. They respected the wishes of our family, communicated exceptionally well, and provided high quality service to not only us, but to our deceased loved one. Losing a loved one is incredibly difficult and heart breaking, but it helps to have a supportive organization assisting you every step of the way. They did a great job organizing everything. I first learned of Mitchell Funeral Home last February when I attended a dinner and presentation about prepaid funeral services. I was favorably impressed with the presentation so purchased services for my wife and me. Little did I know I would need their services so soon. My wife passed away in September. From the moment they picked her up at our house the staff of Mitchell Funeral Home were as compassionate and helpful as I think is possible. We had a memorial reception st the funeral home and.every detail was taken care of quickly and professionally. Every suggestion made by Robyn was excellent and resulted in a great reception. I can't say enough how helpful the staff were in a situation I had not experienced before. I needed a lot of help, and Mitchell Funeral Home provided everything I needed.

Mitchell Funeral Home in my own words I would have to say the service i received from Mitchell Funeral Home was outstanding. They were very professional and very helpful to me and my family as we plan the memorial service for my daughter. They were very compassionate and made the process very easy for my family during this time of sorrow. No parent should have to do this for there kid but its nice to know that they were there to make it as easy as possible to make it what my daughter would have want. I would recommend them to anyone that may have to go through this themselves.

Amy Barr and staff showed great professionalism during a very difficult time for my sister and I. She made herself available at all times during the process for any questions or requests we had.
