Highland Hiker

Love the store. It was New Years day and we got there only a few minutes before they were closing so we didn't have very much time to shop but I got a couple of things for my granddaughter that were on sale

My husband and I vacation here often and the Highland Hiker is a stop we make every time! We love their selection of gear and souvenirs. We also love asking the workers for recommendations and advice about the area! We've had great conversations and purchases here. Definitely worth stopping by.

Thank you for being COVID safe! I don't agree with last review and am looking at booking a guided float trip, but am worried about COVID - the negative review from earlier just SOLD me on the decision. Good store policy - much appreciated!

As my good fortune would have it, while looking for a new Barbour shirt I happened into a Barbour trunk show! The proprietor was extremely welcoming and informative as well as the Barbour rep. We had our puppy and everyone was totally cool with him being inside the store. We always love visiting Highland Hiker while in Highlands. I always manage to find something I just have yo have 🙂👍

This name has about 5 store options in Highlands. It has anything one could need for a mountain vacation. If you go to Highlands, you have to visit here. I guarantee you won't leave without buying something very useful.

My favorite store in Highlands! Beloved by both locals and visitors. They have the best selection of mountain chic clothing (Barbour, Ugg, Patagonia etc) and outdoor gear. Owned and managed by a local multigenerational family, this place is truly a retail treasure. The staff is beyond friendly and the store is clean, organized and SAFE. My go to for gifts and to outfit myself and my family!

High quality products and a helpful staff. Be sure you make it to all the locations. It's not just for gear but also great intel on local goings on and trail info. Best Barbour selection in a three hour drive radius. Please, please, please ask about the pinecone handled knifes. You will not be disappointed. I remember when it was just a cabin in the woods.
