I absolutely loved this store! Having to find Russian Father Frost (Santa clause in Russia) ornament was amazing! I have been looking for one for a very long time. They have many different Santa Clause ornaments that represent different country, for example: Israel, Greece and etc. The owner was very friendly. Soon after visiting the store, I found a shop on Etsy (Loonateek Treasures) from Russia who sells more ornaments that I was looking for. Since I don’t live in North Carolina, I get most of my ornaments on Etsy. But I go back to NC, I will definitely drive few hours to stop by this store again :)

Such a cute Christmas store in downtown Highlands! They carry so many different types of ornaments and holiday decor, you can spend an hour just looking! They are limiting the number in the store due to COVID, and I appreciated not feeling crowded.

Don't believe everything you read. I read all the terrible reviews...but since I am a Christmas junkie, I decided to find out for myself. I was pleasantly surprised at the warmth, kindness and graciousness of the owners. I would recommend this store for your Christmas needs. I firmly believe that there is always two sides to a story. Very friendly and willing to stay open past stated hours even though we discovered the shop near closing time on a Saturday afternoon. Beautiful displays and helpful staff ensure we will be back.

The owner was super rude and condescending. Which is amazing considering their business depends on tourists, seems weird to not be nice to them. Makes me think some of the overly positive reviews are totally fake.

The selection was basic Christmas fair, just way over priced. They may have a lot of ornaments, but none are unique or special. You won't find a special ornament to commemorate your visit in this shop. I actually did much better at finding cute keepsakes at the other shops in Highlands.

This is our first stay in Highlands. On our first day we decided to visit the charming shops on Main St. The Christmas Tree seemed like the perfect place to take my 3 and a half year old twins so they could pick out an ornament to remember our vacation. Like most 3 and a half year olds they can melt down at a moments notice. This happened to one of my twins. As I was trying to calm him down the older women that worked there (She could have owned the shop, but I'm not sure. She acted as though she owned it.) came over to stare and make incredibly rude and insensitive comments. Including sqatting down to my 3 and a half year old child and telling him, with a smile, that he would have to leave if he could not be quite. I told her that I could handle it and she proceeded to go over to a coworker and complain very loudly. This definitely put a damper on the start of our vacation. It goes without saying that we will definitely not be going back to this shop.

Very rude to customers! Will be making my purchases from a different store. Going ahead and skip this one. Plenty of store with like products. "Clerk" decided to follow my kids around in the store. But forgot to greet or ask if we needed anything!
