Red Roof Inn Dillon, SC

Dillon SC is trying to come back to life and even though Red Roof Inn could use some maintenance work...The rooms are clean and quiet, staff very friendly and courteous, bagels were fresh and coffee and OJ was just what we needed too get back on the road. Would definitely stay again! I'm thankful that they allow our furry friends without charging for them!

Cleanest Red Roof Inn in a 5 day trip. No Roaches. Floors were immaculate. Bathtub was clean enough for bathing. Pet friendly.

Booked a last minute room for the night during a road trip. The person at the front desk, Sagar, was super accommodating and very friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again!

I stay at Red Roof often while traveling with our show dogs. This is one of my nicest stays yet. Simple, as Red Roofs tend to be, but clean and comfortable without breaking the bank. The room was large and well kept. Bedding appeared clean and smelled fresh, and the bed was very comfortable. TV was a nice size. Mini fridge had a proper freezer. The closest ice machine was broken but another on the other side of the motel worked so it was fine. A/C worked very well. The lobby office was closed due to short staffing (I arrived late at night) but there was a number to call...someone appeared within 6 or 7 minutes of calling to check me in. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and I'd happily return! Thanks Red Roof :)
Oh, one thing that should be noted...the pool was filled in at some point and is now a grassy dog walk area.

I was 3 hours from home and had a broken down car. My son came to pick me up with an auto transport trailer. Mr. George, the maintenance man, came and helped to get the car up on the trailer. The car wouldn’t crank at all so it was a lot of work. But he hung in there like a champ until he got the car on there, tied down and completely ready to pull off. Thank you so much to Mr. George. Service can’t get any better than that. Oh, front desk personnel was great and rooms were clean also. I would definitely stay there again.

We were happy to have found the red roof inn so close to the exit off of i95 during our travels through SC. Everything in the room was modern and clean. Grabbed a nice hot breakfast there before we checked out—We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

One of the nicer RR I've stayed in. The gentlemen at the front desk were wonderful - so fast, incredibly efficient, kind, helpful, polite and professional.

Room is spacious and clean. Great water pressure. Not one sign of a bug. Minor stains on the comforter, not ideal but it could be worse. Bed is comfy, bathroom is very roomy. They even have little reading lights on the bedside lamps, they're cute and handy. Smoking rooms come with ashtrays, that's a minor detail but uncommon and appreciated. Everything looks clean and fairly modern.

The room and bathroom were very clean, The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the sheets were crisp. Floors were laminate instead of carpet which is a big plus. The Wifi signal was strong enough for streaming. Pet friendly! It was a great value for the price. I would definitely stay again.

Nice quiet property. No riff raffs hanging around outside. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfy! This was our Third stay at this hotel. The staff are very nice and professions. We always stop here on our way to Florida. I will recommend this place to everyone! I really liked it here. Great job guys!

While traveling from Florida to Maine we stayed at this location with two dogs. They were extremely accommodating and very pleasant to talk with. I highly recommend this hotel if passing through the area. Stephanie is a nice young lady to deal with. Thank you

We tried to check in early and the man working there was too busy watching something really loud and said we had to wait 45 minutes to be helped because he was going to do the audits, was extremely rude and disrespectful. Never in my life have I seen a disgusting mannered individual like this. He lacked kindness and the show or movie he was watching was so loud he couldn’t hear me and kept screaming What? Like we were bothering him. Very disgusted with this place or should I say this person working there on 7/7/2023 5AM

Great location! It is close to I-95 and plenty of places to eat. The room was very clean and am glad they welcomed my cat Petey. The young lady at the desk was a great help and very kind to a weary traveler going from Boston to Florida.

From the moment we checked in, the receptionist was great, very friendly and willing to help with anything.
Asked us where we are going and coming from.
The room we stayed at was spotless, clean and ready, perfect.
We were driving from Pa. to Florida and needed a half way stop.
We do have a dog as it was pet friendly.
While taking the dog for a walk I noticed a police officer patrolling the parking lot, that made us feel safe.
Best decision we made , staying at the Red Roof Inn.

We stayed 9/3-4/22, I am responding because if I would have judged here based on reviews I wouldn't have stayed. I wonder how I would rate their house?! Room looked just like picture, ac worked fine and no noise. Stay was quiet and pleasant, considering there was a Nascar race in Darlington!! Staff was extremely accomodating. I like old hotels myself. More expensive hotels are charging for the towels they expect to be stolen and the amenities that are abused, and the ones who leave the room looking like a tropical storm hit, all because "they paid for the room, someone is paid to clean it".
The ones complaining are probably the ones who steal, trash the room and abuse the continental breakfast,,, ie "I need to take some extra, for the kids, you know, we have a long drive, after all, we paid for it".
Plenty of all outlets, we use c-paps. Lots of usb outlets in lamps and even built into the nightstand.
Anything I asked for, towels, extra shampoo, I was given with a smile. l always bring my own hair stuff anyway, regardless. Room was non smoking, and smelled fine. Real coffee and cute little coffee maker. Coffee and waffles, cereal, pastries and some fruit was available. Huddle House and Waffle House right there. Wendy's, Cook Out, Popeyes. Mexican about a mile away. Dollar Tree, 7-11, Food Lion, Walmart very close, 5 minutes.
I saw on the reviews that the hotel gets are for entertainment, restaurants ???how are these associated with the hotel???
Right off 95, and right back on, very easy access.
We stayed an extra night because it was nice and pleasant. Got fireworks from Jabs, best deal there. Went to South of the Border, 10 minutes away. We plan on coming again, just for a quick vacay, and plan to stay here. Thank you, each and every one of you at Red Roof Inn, Dillon, SC.

I have stayed at this property before and I must say the newly renovated rooms with LVT hardwood flooring and new mattresses have really taken this place to a new level. Rooms are really clean with modern look and feel. Lamp fixtures have USB points, providing ample charging ports in convenient locations throughout the room. I do work out of my room at times ,when I'm back from my site visits around in the area. Rooms have a large desk with with comfortable office chair and also has a modern leather chair with ottoman, so its just perfect when, I'm in the mood to lay back, kick up my feet and place the laptop in my lap. Front desk staff will go above and beyond to accommodate special request. They've added 5 new large size interior corridor rooms with Jacuzzi's, large walk-in shower and wet bar. Only brand hotel with interior corridor rooms in Dillon, SC. I stay here frequently and now with all the upgrades its really worth every penny and much more!!!

Rooms are just like the pictures. Friendly check in. Nice pet friendly rooms. Clean towels....beds have nice sheets and linens not all ratty. Room is clean. Decent sized bathtubs and hot water...and bathroom well stocked check. Close to I-95 check not a 5 star hotel but I gave five stars anyway. You are definitely getting that you pay for at this one no unpleasant surprises....I think I the person below me was just exaggerating. I travel for a living so I stay in a lot of hotels. This one you are def getting what you pay for and in decent condition. Woohoo!

We, like a few others, had to evacuate for Florence. We struggled to find somewhere pet friendly, and this place was a lucky find along the way. The manager and staff were all so great. Everyone was super nice and accommodating. The hotel lost power, but the manager did his best to still take care of everyone. The parking lot was flooding... And he and a staff member were out on their hands and knees in the flooding waters trying to clear the pipes. These people work very hard, and they are appreciated. We paid up a week but left before our time was up since we were allowed back into MB on Sunday. There's no cancelations or change of plans/refunds allowed. But I'm actually cool with that... I just hope the staff gets a little extra boost and a break afterwards....good people are here, great service. Fantastic rooms! I loved how big and nice they were! Bathroom was great! Tub was nice and large! I really liked this place!

By far the best red roof I have stayed in.it is very clean, quiet wonderful friendly service. I actually extended my stay for another night taking advantage of the comfortable quiet accommodations. If every in Dillon south Carolina it is a must stay. Thanks red roof inn at Dillon south Carolina

I'm giving this 5 stars because it was better than expected. No, Red Roof Inn is not a 5 star hotel and they don't claim to be. The location was great because it was right off 95. Doris at the front desk was EXTREMELY helpful and when I called ahead she made certain my room was ready in time and called me on cell as soon as it was. Then, when I left, I left my bluetooth in the room. When I called the next day the front desk was very nice and promised to talk to housekeeping and call me back. You can park right outside your door so it makes it easy to be in and out. The room was quiet and comfortable. It was everything I expected for a quick one night road trip.

CLEAN ROOMS GOOD SERVICE EXCELLENT PRICE. THANK YOU KATE , A LITTLE MIX UP WITH PRICELINE BUT NEXT TIME I WILL BOOK DIRECT. FRONT DESK VERY ATTENTIVE AND HELPFUL.
