Norco Moving & Storage

Can't recommend enough. We used their service (through Mayflower) when we moved across the country. Robert Ullman was so helpful and professional throughout the whole process - from initial cost evaluation to the loading day, he really saw it through and provided support every step of the way. We ran into some issues with choosing loading day (had nothing to do with them, but logistics on our end), they were so patient and tried their best to accommodate.

The price wasn't the cheapest one I found, but also extremely reasonable compared to some of other movers I asked. The movers were quick and professional also. Only a handful of items were slightly damaged (across the country!) - which I find acceptable.

What I found most reassuraing was that it was a binding price - it really gave me the peace of mind I needed during this stressful move. Many companies can and will change the price on you on loading day after they load up your stuff. I almost signed with a company like this, claiming that the price they quoted me ( cheaper than this one) won't change unless item numbers increase. As I packed I realized the numbers of items I actually had could have easily doubled.

Moving is always stressful, but I'm happy to report that everything to do with the moving company was stress-free. Highly recommend!

Robert Ulman set up every part of our move. He answered every question quickly. He was very professional and kind to us. Great prices. Our movers Juan , his wife and the other packer, packed our house gently and well. They were very quick, polite, and helped us with everything. I would use Mayflower again and would tell all of my friends. This is a great company.😀

We are very grateful to have Norco take care of our moving needs. Everyone we spoke to were extremely helpful and nice. Our experience was amazing and so easy moving from one state to another state! The NORCO movers are AWESOME. We use them for our large dog house auction every year. They are always on time, respectful, and careful with the custom built houses. We can't recommend them enough!

Great moving and storage. We scheduled our move well in advance. NORCO was right on time. We encountered a delay for our move in date and NORCO was able store our goods for us. They were kind informative and understanding. I am glad I left the moving to the moving specialist. They truly know their business.

Everyone was super :Bobby Ullman, who prepared me for every step to come, calling to check on how things are going, & answered many questions. Victor Marositica, driver also answered questions, great guy to work with. The packers Donna, Floyd & Willie did a great job. Thanks Norco for making my move across the country as easy on me as possible.

They are very professional, courteous and on time each leg of the trip. I would recommend them to others and I would use them again The reason I did not give them 5 stars is they picked up my goods and placed them in storage, until they had a truck leaving for the Northwest, I was living in Texas, at the time. By taking the goods out of storage and re-loading into the truck that would be delivering my goods, this was two times my goods were handled. I had a Lazy Boy sofa recliner, and my mattress were both damaged. Now, I had full value coverage and receipts for the purchase of these two items and their insurance company paid the full amount of the damaged goods. This was very smooth and they paid quickly.

Used them for a long distance move from Utah to Texas. The loading and unloading teams were great, but they lost several boxes and damaged a few items.

I notified Donna and Robert about filing a claim of broken and damaged items but never heard back.
I am writing to warn of the scam that was used, packing and mess left behind, disassembly of every piece of furniture and shoving belongings into a small storage unit leaving furniture broken, or damaged in appearance.
We have moved across states before. We had the inside our house packed except for daily items we were wrapping up as the supervisor(Mike)came.
Mike entered the front door and looked into the first room with bookshelves, office chair, floor lamp and states, “so you aren’t packed?”. Asked if we had large appliances as he moves to the next room as I’m listing off our appliances. Mike states, “what’s this about?” He points to a TV on the floor. He says he can’t touch it and we need to wrap it ourselved. Mike says he can sell us a box for $100ea, but pack it ourselves. We tell him, Robert told us repeatedly we just take TVs off the wall and you will bring blanket and boxes…which was part of the cost of moving. Mike says he is in charge and he can’t have his crew do it and asks to see garage.
This is just the start of the scam. In the garage we are finishing packing our cleaning supplies and etc. Mike is making a claim it will take us too long to finish and his men need to get in and get it done so they can load the truck on time. Mike says that if we load the TVs ourselves with our other things it will put us behind and gave us his timeline. Mike said his team will have it done in 4 hours and just be an extra $ for each man. We just sit back and we can use our time better while boxes are loaded and packed and beds are dissembled. So an agreement was made with the threat of us now having to pack the TVs vs them doing it all in order to get it done on time. Still this made no sense how at first he said he couldn’t pack the TVs but now that we are paying them $$$$ they can. SCAM! I told Mike and 2 men what was to be packed and boxes to be loaded. Easy instructions. If it was an open crate it stays and not in a box don’t pack.
5 hours go by and they have done very little. Men in bathrooms or roaming or chatting. One guy sat and started rolling up the floor runners that protected my floors without having rooms unloaded. Complete chaos in my house with 4 men asking me the same questions. Open crates need packed? Boxes ready to go? Washer dryer going? There was no communication between men.
Another hour and Mike asks if I’m ready for a walk thru…he has been MIA for several hours. I tell him the entire master bed, bath and closet is full boxes and they took up the runners. Mike has no response.
They load the truck after 9 hours with rolls of tapes, trash and mud behind.
Mike leaves us a work order that stated our TV boxes were in the work order!!!!
Days later we get a call From Mike saying our storage unit is too small. We keep him on the phone and call the storage unit which is closed. We get the lady on the line to buy a bigger unit. Problem solved, right? No!!! Mike and his team dissembled every bit of furniture they could and shoved everything in the unit with boxes tearing apart boxes as they scraped along the top . Furniture is not covered even after Mike gave us a cheesy demonstration how he wraps “everything from table and chairs to garden tools so nothing rubs or hits” and he’ll leave some blankets on the furniture Not what we saw. Movers pulled unwrapped furniture like chair legs from unit (without hardware). It was a disaster. Why did Mike call and have us get a larger unit but shove everything in the smaller unit? We have lost use of dressers that can longer hold drawers, bed frames snapped, dishes, decor in the middle of boxes smashed. Boxes with Dyson vacuum upside down(plastic up) with a computer on top. My packed boxes repacked without bubblewrap or paper. Furniture is all gouged which never had any marks before. A lot loss but just the disrespect, dishonesty from the movers and uncare from the company will persuade me to make a claim and file with BBB.

We were on a relocation package from Colorado to Texas. Communication was terrible from the start. Actual movers showed up two days earlier than we expected. Some personal items were packed that were never located after move.

We had missing items and multiple broken items. We were dismayed while unpacking at how fragile items were packed. Could not understand how items from different rooms and floors ended up in the same boxes. We had to unpack seven different boxes to just assemble our bedding the first night. Found our blankets wrapped around our toilet bowl brush and bathroom plunger.

Moving is exhausting but this added another level of stress.

We moved before with relocation package and never experienced anything like this.

Hope we were a one off.
