Brand new facilities, very clean and well set up. There is a great shaded area with picnic tables. The lobby is staffed with friendly and knowledgeable Travel Counselors. The true measure of a welcome center is how well it is maintained over the course of the next 15-20 years, but since this one is brand new, it easily is a 5 Star facility and one I would recommend.

Bathrooms are always clean. The staff is welcoming and willing to assist the visitors. The area is relaxing inside and out.
When we were homeless and relocating they had plates and collapsing pet bowls. We got three of the plates and a bowl for our sons service dog. At the time those were the only real dishes we had.
Today I let the attendants know how much their service makes a difference.

Such a beautiful welcome center! It has only been open for 8 months, and is so new and pretty inside. There were lots of employees inside ready to help answer any questions. Also appreciated the attendant in the bathrooms making sure they were sparkling clean and had the necessities. My favorite part was the big swings out front. It was so peaceful to swing and look out at the grounds and see the kids playing in the lawn. There were nice designated picnic areas, and an actual walk way all the way around the building. Perfect for walking around and stretching your legs and your pets legs.

Rest stop is clean and convenient. There is an information desk with someone there. There are maps and pamphlets for no charge. This is a great rest stop when traveling on I95.

We had a wonderful experience with our newborn. It was such a clean restroom with a wonderful changing table in the family restroom. Avis was in duty with facilities, pointed us in that direction and was so kind to unlock it for us! It made for such an easy stop. Thank-you, Avis!

Beautiful New (2021) Welcome Center. Perfect place to stop for break from the road. Thoughtfully planned and executed. Large, clean restrooms and family restrooms. Sit and swing on one of the porch swings,or cool off inside where there is plenty of space to lounge and plan your trip, make phone calls, or charge your phone and have a snack. You can stretch your legs and walk your dog on the sidewalk that goes the entire circumference of the parking lot. Doggy bags stationed around, too. Breakout the cooler and enjoy a picnic at one of the tables under the metal awning or the cool shade of the pine trees. Vending machines on site and plenty of employees to answer any questions about South Carolina. Huuge truck parking lot, also.

It's good to see that this place is up and running again, after having been demolished in 2019!

There certainly is a lot more to it in one way, as there is a charging station inside, tons more vending machines in the indoor area, and the main lobby area even has guest books to sign!

This South Carolina welcome centre is great place to relax during a long trip from Orlando, Florida. I couldn’t find a restarea in that long stretch of i95 North. I was tired during the travel for about 3 hrs and this place was amazing to spend sometime to relax

Lovely, welcoming, clean. Outside you’ll notice the relaxing bench swings on the veranda inviting you to sit down and relax. Inside the large foyer of the welcoming center there are comfortable chairs for those who wish to sit, wait for others, read or relax. There are 3 friendly attendants looking to help you almost the minute you slow down to look at the large state map or sign the guest list, or stop and gaze at the huge display of brochures organized along one entire wall by area within South Carolina that you plan to visit. Near each chair is a stack of 4x6 inch Monster coupon booklets stuffed with coupons for attractions, shopping, dining, and more— the booklet was small in size but filled with over 120 pages of great discounts. The restrooms are clean and well maintained, large and well lit. South Carolina has what might be the nicest welcome center and rest stop combo in the entire nation.

This South Carolina rest area is accessible via interstate 95 southbound & offers many picnic tables across the property with Pavilions and trees and lots of grass. This seems to be a very popular spot for travelers with dogs and possibly even locals with dogs that are traveling the interstate and would like to give their dog a break.. and four different bathroom facilities I believe semicolon 2 outside and two inside. There is a family restroom as well and changing tables. Overall I'm very impressed with the maintenance and upkeep of the property and facility and the kindness and helpful Ness workers inside the Welcome Center offering their assistance and I are traveling endeavors.

My husband and I visited the SC welcome station yesterday. We were in need of a hotel recommendation for an emergency stay. The women at the front desk were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and gave us a perfect recommendation. Thank you for making our stay in South Carolina the best!

This rest stop/welcome center is very nice. The bathrooms are very clean and modern. The main area closes around 5P but the back area (where the bathrooms are located) is open 24/7. The area was air conditioned and the vendor machines are well stocked.

Loving the fountain, get to sit by and reflect on human history figures. Good shady spots. My human let some little humans walk me around the fountain-so much fun! -Sinclair, pet toy dinosaur.
