Cooper's Meat Market and Steakhouse

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Stephanie and Melissa took great care of us and Jason came out to meet us and explain the care he takes in selecting the meat they process and serve. From apps to steak, this places is incredible. We can’t wait to come back!

Stop what you’re doing and RUN to this place for dinner. Stephanie and Melissa were top notch when it comes to service and made us feel so welcomed. Completely casual here - no dress code! The concept of a butcher market and steakhouse make so much sense. We met Jason, the butcher and head chef, and he explained to us the care he takes with selecting the meat they process. And it shows! This was one of the best meals we ever had and we can’t wait to come back.

We had a fabulous dinner at Coopers Meat Market in Dallas. Our ribeye and filets were some of the best quality steaks in this quait neighborhood gem. The service, atmosphere and cuisine were top notch, I will be back soon!

The staff here definitely makes you feel welcome. Explaining the dishes, how they are made, what makes them worth trying. The food is exceptional and definitely worth the price. Will definitely come here again! You can tell the people working here have a passion for food.

I’m a connoisseur of Dallas steak houses, and this is my new favorite. Everything we had was delicious. Many unique flavors. When I tried their smoke sticks I instantly bought all they had left in the counter.

This is my new favorite steak restaurant in Dallas. To start we had the brisket deviled eggs which were absolutely fantastic. We had amazing steaks, mashed potatoes, the creamed spinach and shared the bread pudding desert which was to die for. Great place. And a bottle of wine. Phenomenal service from Paula and the general manager Jason were awesome. Highly recommend.

I can’t believe I’ve never known about this place! Best service with staff that cares and is super knowledgable. The best hidden gem in Dallas for sure. The steaks were phenomenal and so were the sides. We got the 18oz Akaushi ribeyes with Mac and cheese, mushrooms, and mashed potatoes, and the 5 oz lobster tail. Lobster tail was out of this world!!!! Do not waste your time going to other steakhouses. Will be making this a regular spot for my boyfriend and I. Joel and Chef Paul are the best!!!

Man, I wish I could take this place back to NY with me. We had the 16oz ribeye with loaded baked potato (lunch menu) and a side of mac & cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious! The ribeye (ordered medium rare) was cooked perfectly and was extremely tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. The baked potato was enormous and really makes the steak look small, but trust me, this was a BIG 16oz steak! The mac & cheese was exceptional, honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. The decor is really cute and clean with a nice vibe. We’d definitely come back if we’re ever back in Dallas!

Coopers was excellent. I wanted a steak and didn't want to pay 100 for it. They had a high end meat counter that made me wish they were in Myrtle Beach.

I had filet asparagus cheese cake and a bottle of Toppo Chico (odd thought, when you go to Mexico they said don't drink the water, but here I can enjoy an excellent mineral fizzy water from Mexico...) The waiter was fantastic and even charged my phone (which was dieing). Food was 75 so with 25 tip I got my whole meal for price google was indicating was for just the steak at other eateries.

Lovely undiscovered restaurant. From hamburgers to filets. Easy parking and peaceful interior. Also has a large selection on prepared meals ready to go.

It's always nice to walk into a place that was well designed with a modern flare. Visited a friend in Dallas and when I asked where we should meet he was quick to say coopers.

This is my go to meat market for quality and service. Today I bought a whole seasoned chicken and roasted it when I got home, OH MY GOODNESS, delicious. Chef’s kiss ‼‼‼. Thank you for your consistency and commitment to quality foods.

Came here to pick up a few steaks during a short weekend visit to Dallas. The market/restaurant was very clean, bright and inviting and I was very impressed with the service (very knowledgeable and friendly staff). It's a little pricey, but the beef was very fresh and they had plenty of different cuts to choose from as well as fish options.

The prime rib I ordered was good, but not my favorite (too chewy), but my friend got the NY Strip which was excellent. You can choose to take raw cuts to go or they can cook it for you. Take advantage of the early opening and visit this place before it gets popular/more crowded.

The rib eye was so juicy and tender. I literally cut it with my fork (just to see if I could.). It was seasoned to perfection. It would be a travesty to add steak sauce. It was the absolute best steak I’ve ever had. I told my husband, if I had to choose between that steak and sex, I’d choose the steak! Paula, our server was also wonderful. She was so friendly, and the service was fantastic.

Everything will be better than you’d imagine, the staff is amazing and so nice and helpful. The chef is a mastermind and the food is outstanding, you’ll be back often if you live close.

The people that speak negatively about this steak house is fabricating. Cooper meat market is far the best steak house that I’ve ever tasted . The mashed potatoes are really soft and fluffy and have this real good buttery taste to them also the broccolini was bomb . The customer service is far the best ever . Chef’s constantly walk around and ask you how does the food taste , waiters are never to far . I’ve never experienced any racial experience here they treat all customers the same really nice people. I can’t express how good this place is I’ve told so many people about it .Prior I went to nick and sams a day before it was the worst I’ve ever had couldn’t wait to come back to Coopers I did the next day they never disappoint.

Steakhouse is perfect 👌🏼 and the steaks and burgers were the best I’ve had near Oak Cliff and Bishop arts area.

Wow, what a great find! This place is amazing. We were driving and spotted it, pulled a quick U-Turn and we were not disappointed! I had the Caesar Salad and a burger and every bite was amazing. I am shocked a a few negative reviews I am reading re service in this world where restauranteurs are struggling to find help and stay alive. This owner is passionate and committed to quality and service and making things right of there is a wrong!
