Residence Inn by Marriott Dallas at The Canyon

Blessed Jefferson is a real treasure at this Residence Inn! There truly is so much in a name, as she’s a blessing to myself and every other guest that I saw come and go while I stayed there.

The staff that I interacted with personally; Maddie and La Retha were also pretty amazing, welcoming, very outgoing and helpful. The atmosphere these Marriott associates created was so warm and comforting that it really makes you feel at home during your travels. Whether coming or going during my entire 12-day stay, I was always greeted with the brightest salutations from each one of them. Their great hospitality and high regards towards me always started me out on the right track each day and capped a productive day each evening when returning to my home away from home!

I will always head straight to Residence Inn by Marriott Dallas at the Canyon whenever I’m in Dallas! I really hope that these three exemplary Marriott ambassadors are properly appreciated for the wonderful things they’re doing for the entire brand at this one location. Thank you all so much!

We stayed here from the middle November to middle of April 2024. We have stayed at many Marriott hotels and this one by far supersedes them all. Blessed the assistant GM is the most beautiful person. She greets every guest with a smile and super encouraging words. Every front desk person was extremely nice and helpful and always greeted us with beautiful smiles and kindness! The breakfast crew is awesome!! They are so kind. They had a great variety every day!! Breakfast here is awesome!! The rooms were always CLEAN! The cleaning ladies work hard and are very respectful of your property. They were so kind and helpful. The maintenance men are very knowledgeable promptly took care of any issues we had. They were super nice!! The parking security at night again super kind and we were very thankful for him keeping an eye out. We felt very safe here and enjoyed our stay. In the 5 months we stayed here we never once had an issue with anything. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!! THANK YOU ALL FOR GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND THE REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR JOB. YOU ALL ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

This hotel near Dallas was a gem for my holiday escape. The staff, especially the ladies, were the stars, making my stay truly memorable. I stayed for Christmas and they made my stay beyond memorable. ✨💕Their warmth and attentiveness made me consider extending my trip just to relish their hospitality. Security on the property was a nice touch because I work late nights and like to go for rides if I can’t sleep, some places I don’t feel safe doing so, adding to the peace of mind helped. While I missed out on breakfast, the well-equipped kitchen and the staff's generosity with supplies made cooking a delight. Definitely a place I'd revisit!

So many people don’t understand the impact of service and these lady’s over preformed.

I am a Marriott Ambassador Elite member, which is the highest elite tier that can be achieved with Marriott. What this means is that I spend more days per year staying at hotels than I spend at my own home. With over 200 hotel night stays per year, I can definitively state that this is the one of the very best hotels that I have ever stayed at. Not only is it quiet, clean, modern, equipped with reliable & blazing fast Internet, and situated in a fantastic convenient location with lots of breathing room away from the downtown bustle, but the #1 key reason that this hotel shines above all other hotels is because of the outstanding staff. I have never stayed at a hotel before that has such an amazing team of employees who care so incredibly much about the satisfaction of their guests. This is truly a team of top-notch professionals that were clearly handpicked for their commitment to positive vibes, smiles, friendliness, and always going above-and-beyond the call of duty for their guests. This is a team of employees that truly treats you like you are family. This all-star team is comprised of Maddie, Michael, Blessed, Laneysia, Lareetha, Rolando, and more! It's very clear to me why so many people at this hotel are long-term guests (like myself), and whenever I return to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, this is the hotel that I will be choosing.

No cons at all to my stay. I was in Dallas for the eclipse and so you can imagine how busy all the staff must be. Laretha and Blessed were nonetheless so sweet, helpful, and kind. I had a room in the back of the hotel, facing a beautiful green field full of wildflowers. Clean rooms, quiet building, fast internet (had to bring my work laptop so as not to miss several meetings — no disturbance from other guests or glitches in the meeting video at all), which I think are maybe perks of living a bit further from downtown. Downtown is just 15 min away though, super easy to get to. Complimentary hot breakfast and coffee, and a full size kitchen, are the cherries on top. I had everything I needed and again, the front desk folks especially were just so accommodating and understanding. Thank you so much for a lovely eclipse stay!

My husband stayed here for work for over 2 months. I had to extend him several times. I called up and they were always happy to help! The rooms are large. The breakfasts and the staff who work there are amazing! They would see him waiting for breakfast early and let him in to get food before he headed off to work. From the front desk to the kitchen staff, to the cleaning staff. I can't thank you enough for taking care of my husband and making this his home away from home for 67 days! I even came up to visit a few times and met some of the "family." We will definitely stay again the next time we need a long-term stay!

Outstanding room, service and facilities. The location makes it very easy to get to almost anywhere in the Dallas metro area. This will bey go to hotel in the future when visiting DFW!

Blessed at the front desk is one of the kindest employees I have ever talked to. I had trouble getting some paperwork completed and she stayed on the phone with me the whole time never once getting annoyed. I know she was very busy with the weather but she never made me feel rushed. Thank you!!!

Had an outstanding experience at Residence Inn Canyon. The older black lady at check-in was an absolute superstar, providing top-notch service. The rooms were truly 5-star quality, making my stay exceptionally comfortable. Kudos to the staff and the remarkable hospitality at this Residence Inn. Highly recommend!

Great newer hotel in a convenient location without the traffic or hustle and bustle. Easy to Uber in and out. Hotel is very clean and safe with no random people hanging around. Rooms are very large, comfortable, dark and quiet for sleeping. All the staff that I had interactions with were very very friendly. Beautiful pool and patio area. Half a basketball court that’s fenced in and well maintained. The free breakfast is normal and nothing exciting for a hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.

I was so nervous booking a Hotel in the Dallas area. I had a bad experience previously in another city and have been leery since. However, I am beyond glad I chose this hotel. Everything was perfect and comfortable. The staff was nice and welcoming, the complimentary breakfast has great options. The room was spacious and clean. The kitchen and bathrooms are great sizes also. We were able to stream HBO, Showtime and Youtube. It’s located in a parking lot with two restaurants and only 10-12 minutes from Downtown. There’s a basketball goal outside for the younger adults or kids to play. Already planning my next trip to Dallas.

Conveniently situated. Clean rooms and friendly, courteous, and professional staff. Plenty of parking and near several restaurants. Reasonably priced. Recommended.

Laretha was amazing, so polite and helpful, truly a comfortable and clean experience. The best Marriott hotel we have stayed at this far :)

This hotel and brand is a must and will definitely stay on my top 10 list. Everything was great. The staff was awesome. The rooms were clean ,bed was comfortable, AC worked perfect. My only complaint the remote was slow.

The room was amazing and spacious, the service was welcoming and the location was good with two restaurants across the parking lot and a fuel service station across the street. Breakfast was on point with a variety of food options.

I was surprised at the level of effort given for a 3-star hotel. The lobby was welcoming and the staff were attentive. The review complaining about parking was not necessary. It’s $5 and that probably pays for the Dallas PD officer that was onsite. Based on reviews about car break-ins, they’ve definitely responded, so if paying $5 is needed to ensure the parking lot is safe, I don’t see what the complaint was for. There were a few things of concern like no mattress cover and having to clean the dishes, but nothing that would keep me from staying here again. I’m a stickler for presentable and clean bathrooms. This was definitely a few steps above a normal 3-star. There was a clean shower curtain (surprised me) and the aesthetic was definitely better than most. They need to unclog the drain a bit, but I just stood towards the back of the tub. Overall the place is on my list for budget friendly, yet quality hotels.

Wow this place really was immaculate! the grounds are beautiful the hallways smell nice, like really clean and not caked with the sins of what really happens in hotel rooms. You can't hear anything from inside the room in the hallway. Everything looks brand new not a speck of dust in sight.

Everyone was wonderful housekeeping did a great job with the room front desk staff are wonderful polite and knowledgeable about area. If I ever have to come back down to Dallas I will definitely be staying at this hotel. I wish I could give more stars but the limit is 5.

The staff has been nothing but generously kind during our stay. I so wish I remembered their names but we’ve arrived in late after our work days so my memory is shot! However their service is beyond memorable. Welcome guest greets us warmly, has been attentive when we have questions, and make us feel like we just got back home. Marriott is lucky to have this staff! I travel a ton for work and this residence inn has been one of my faves — all because of the staff!

We will stay at this hotel every time we come to Dallas. The rooms were huge. Full-size kitchen with dishes. The bed was VERY comfortable. The employees were so welcoming and polite. The location was great also. We were able to walk to restaurants, and it's right off of the freeway.
