Great for ♿ accessible travelers. I've stayed in both rooms with tubs and roll-in shower - both are great.

The staff is extremely polite and helpful they make for a nice experience. The restaurant attached is good as well almost always busy.

The rooms are always clean and well maintained. I had requested to have a light bulb replaced and it was completed in 15 minutes.

Good walking distance to major offices downtown and strong restaurants nearby.

We had such a fantastic time at this hotel. From the moment we drove up and valet was so good at their job to the front desk clerk that checked us in with a smile and was so kind, it was so very nice. The room was extra large, the view from the room was fantastic. Restraunts within walking distance and close by convention center. I now have a new place to stay in Dallas. From the vintage mail box and elevators to the record player and massive collection, the hotel is the best. Calm, relaxing and friendly. Looking forward to staying here again!

My first impression of the Renaissance Hotel Saint Elm was that it was located in a nice and seemingly not so busy area. The valet was courteous and opened the doors for those coming and going from the hotel.

Once inside, the lobby presented as a high-end luxury hotel with the gold-accented elevator area, contemporary velvet seating, marble counters and eccentric decor. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly, accommodating, and above-all patient as a few of my coworkers and I were having trouble with our government travel cards upon check-in.

We were offered complimentary beverages from their little market while we waited an hour on the phone with the company for our travel cards. Once we were able to use our card, the hotel staff was still kind to us despite the hold up we created.

Our rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. I loved the views from my window, and the hotel was quiet (except the loud cars that race on the street on some evenings).

The restaurant down in the lobby had delicious dinner and drinks at the bar (see pics). Our first evening there, I enjoyed a Korean rice bowl, and two alcoholic beverages - the cha cha slide and the tragic kingdom. On another evening, I went for dessert and enjoyed an espresso ice cream cake and espresso martini.

In the morning, the lobby has a cafe, and I very much enjoyed their chai. They also offer other breakfast sandwich options, yogurt parfait and other snacks.

From 5ish to 6ish, in the evening, we were served complimentary hors d'oeuvres and cocktails by our favorite staff member, Sebastian! Sebastian also recommended some delicious food in the local area, starting with the Irish pub we were able to walk to right around the corner, Kitchen + Kocktails right next door, and Ojeda's a few miles away. We also were just an 18 minute walk from the JFK assassination site, and several other monuments and museums.

The entire experience was wonderful and I have absolutely no complaints about my stay at the Renaissance Hotel.

The lobby is so chic. I love how they mixed old art deco with contemporary furniture. The front desk woman/employee is amazing. She worked today Sunday 2/4 at 10am. So welcoming and nice to us the last couple of days.

The room is spacious and the bathroom is pretty modern thankfully. I’m pretty particular and it’s nice.

Walking distance to a lot of places and the restaurant toussaint is good.

We had a great experience there last night! The room was spacious and clean, and all of the staff, especially the bartender Shavon were very friendly and helpful. Not the worst part of downtown, but a little sketch in the evening, especially the offsite parking garage a block away. We would definitely stay there again.

Very friendly staff, the food was amazingly delicious, the bar tender who worked Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning of 02.17.24-02.18.24 was beyond the best! Customer service top notch, the young ladies upfront were awesome, very helpful and kind, the valet! Huge shout out to the valet team, didn’t matter how busy it was, they stayed on their game and killed it! Definitely coming back! Great location to where this was at

Location is perfect in terms of getting on 30 or 45. Large quiet rooms , self parking and valet.

But what compelled me to post was recently on a special day they left me a card and very generous food and drink offering that literally made me feel like a VIP.

Thank you Victoria. I will be traveling to the area often and will only be staying at your hotel from now on!

Extremely beautiful hotel. The amenities were also very nice. The bar/restaurant in the lobby, Toussaint, was very tasty too. Love the location and the historic nature of the place.

My husband and I stayed here this weekend as part of our anniversary celebration. Upon checking in, we met Victoria. She was AMAZING! She was nice to upgrade our room and gave us great suggestions for places in the area. After returning from an evening out, we came back to our room and found a hand written note, a bottle of champagne, and a meat and cheese tray. We were so surprised and touched by such a nice gesture. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the bar had a great atmosphere and served great drinks. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you, Victoria for your kindness and outstanding customer service!

Love, love, love! First time coming to Dallas, I was happy that I made the right decision by booking this hotel. The staff members were friendly, from the check in desk to the bar! One thing I greatly appreciated about coming here was the fact that I was able to check in early! (Major bonus) The room was clean, gorgeous color schemes and the record player made my stay even more enjoyable. The bed/bedding was super comfy and when requesting additional items for the room was NO hassle at all. The drinks at the bar were fantastic and the French fries came out piping hot! (I love fries, lol) I'll stop rambling now, I could go on for days about the Renaissance. Keep up the great work! <3 I will come back late July/early August.

Room is spacious, with a decently comfortable place to sleep. Staff were friendly and kind. The front desk was a bit more public about our room information, but I'm always nervous in new places.
A do over if we visit the area again

Record player in the room was awesome. The location was perfect. It was centrally located with restaurants and bars on the same street or a few blocks away.

The spark of Texas charm is a dash of friendliness & honesty. Hospitality at its finest at the roots of customer service-thanks Genesis & Shay for a lovely experience in Dallas. Valet was exceptional even though I didn’t use this service. They were extremely attentive in helping everyone , every change they got. I’d come back just for the customer service ! 🧳

From the moment the valet greeted us, to the speedy and pleasant check in process, the service here has been top notch.

But it's the rooms that really blow you away. Roomy, full of light, and well-appointed, they have great views, especially in our corner location on the 14th floor.

One of my pet peeves in all the hotels is the shower, water pressure and temperature, because who wants to fiddle with the water and get burned or get your parts frozen and fall off? 😂
I'm happy to report that the water came out of the shower (nice, wide rain shower head, too) just the right temperature and the water pressure was perfect from the getgo.
The only deficiency about the shower is that it only has a half of the opening covered by glass (not a door), so the water splashes all over the floor.

Another issue I take with hotels, especially in business areas (as opposed to the resorts, or close to attractions) is the glass in the table where you need to work. Why put a reflective surface on the work desk, so the mouse doesn't work on it? Outlets could also be more accessible by the work area, but at least there were some available, as opposed to the previous hotel we stayed in the night before.

Other than the small, insignificant issues, this hotel is a hallmark of quality and comfort. Highly recommended!
