Davis Street Espresso

This is one of best coffee shops in dallas! Has a rustic family setting. No wifi no outlets just books and goog company and no to go cups. If you are a die hard coffee true coffee enthusiast this place makes a perfect damn cup everytime. I just moved here and now I am a regular here already.... the coffee is soo good I can't resist. Don't take my word for it just go. Everything is made in house from scratch all the food is from naturally sourced foods and its awesome this is hard to find. 9.9 on the macchiato test literally phenomenal.

This place is amazing …. The food and local sourcing is unreal. Yogurts and avocado toast …. The most friendly staff… this spot take a percentage of my paycheck…. It’s unreal how great everything is here … do not miss this spot… local oak cliff coffee roasted here and there is an out door space that is so pleasant. Parking in the rear and street in front.

This place has great atmosphere. A variety of indoor and outdoor seating options can accommodate individuals to groups. Davis Street bakes their pastries in-house, brews their own soda, and makes their own yogurt. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. A great place to chat with a friend or work on a project.

Awesome coffee shop, fresh baked good and great tasting coffee. Decor is cool, open early and good light breakfast options. You can tell the barista is annoyed to take your order, that’s how you know it’s gonna be good!

Amazing coffee and baked goods with an amazing service. A favorite of my family's. Will always be a go to place as long as I am near Oak Cliff.

I loved this coffee shop. The Barista's here are knowledgeable, friendly, and make you feel welcomed. The coffee is delicious. I have personally tried their Nitro brew as well as their Vanilla cappuccino and My wife has had their Vanilla Latte. The also make all their Breads and pastries in house. I love their sourdough its the best I have found in DFW area. Their blueberry scone are soft with a slight crunch and just a hint of sweetness that makes up the perfect scone. I will definitely be visiting regularly.

I love it here! I come every Thursday morning before work. Daniel is a fantastic manager, you can tell he really cares- the entire staff is always happy and helpful. Yummy coffee, yummy food, and beautiful atmosphere.

Stopped in while having auto repaired across the street. Like the atmosphere, friendly people, excellent customer service, had an expresso. It was great, a little pricey but worth it!~

My boyfriend took me here and it was amazing! The avo toast and chocolate brioche is so good. The lattes taste like heaven and when I left Dallas I literally had a dream about the vanilla latte. Not even kidding. Come try Davis Street. It’s too good to pass up

This is one of the best coffee shops in Dallas area. From the ambience to the flavors, they offer a relaxing environment that comforts the soul and excites the tastebuds. Highly recommend. Also, try their candor bread and chocolate treats.

As a former coffee shop manager I can confidently say these guys and gals are killing it. Their espresso is dialed. The shots are always perfect. Not only that, but every employee is knowledge when you want to ask questions and learn more about coffee. They roast their own, and do a great job. Their pour overs are super flavorful.

We love to get coffee beans from Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters here, but this was the first time we stopped in to enjoy breakfast in the space. They have a large variety of toasts that come on a thick, delicious bread.

Good coffee, good environment and friendly people but bothers me when the employees don’t know their own prices for items. (Small roasting book with a 20% discount, $4 patch, $5-6 cold brew bottle, 1 small $14 dollar mug equals $65?)

Amazing! I've tried somewhere around 20 "craft coffee" shops in DFW, and Oakcliff Coffee Roasters / Davis Street Espresso are in the top 3 for sure. The coffee is expertly crafted by baristas who obviously are passionate about what they do and where they work. The baristas are super kind and welcoming, and they are also incredibly knowledgeable. The bags of beans are freshly roasted and fairly priced (I paid $12 for a bag today, which is wild with the rising prices of coffee beans globally). Also, the cinnamon roll I had today literally changed my life. I'm a self-proclaimed "cinnamon roll extraordinaire," and that was one of the best I've ever had. Worth a visit!

Side note: if you spend over $50 (which isn’t hard when you buy a bunch of beans for your friends) you get a sweet tote bag.

Stopped in here late on a Saturday morning. It was a bit cooler out and overcast, so the venue was pretty busy. I ordered the avocado toast and an espresso, which were $8 for both. They both came out very quickly and the service was very personable. I will definitely be back soon.

Amazing place. 3in1 it's a great choice. Tried latte, hot chocolate, scone and cookies. All was great. Recommended.

We had such a great experience here! Just stopped in because it was near our AirBNB and had pretty good reviews. We almost left because they didn’t have a very extensive food menu (we went for coffee and breakfast) but then one of the baristas greeted us and went over the menu with us and we ended up ordering avocado toast with soft boiled eggs (two big pieces of organic, local, freshly made sourdough!) and yogurt with house-made granola and it was more than enough food. I ordered a cortado which on their menu is called the Van Buren- it is served with sparkling water and a small piece of high quality chocolate- for only $4. The customer service was so great; everyone was super friendly from the barista to the cashier to the manager who was sitting at our table conducting an interview. Such a nice vibe, spacious place with amazing food and drinks. We will definitely come back if/when we ever find ourselves in Dallas again!

Excellent vibe, friendly service, and finally (FINALLY) a coffee shop that doesn’t burn the espresso. Fairly affordable compared to a lot of places - $10 for a cappuccino and a croissant excluding the to-go cup price and tip. Their to-go cups are little glass jars which are cute and sustainable, though I’d bring a personal/reusable cup next time. The croissant I ate was gigantic, buttery, and perfectly flaky. My only complaint is that I ordered a flat white with almond milk (they don’t carry oat-milk) and received a cappuccino instead; perhaps there was a mixup there.
