We did the candle making experience with a food and wine spread and it was AMAZING. The staff was so kind, helpful and fun. They explained the candle making process and made it so fun for our group. I would 10/10 recommend!

This is one of my favorite places to shop! Whether you live in Dallas or just visiting add this to your "must go"list! Gifts for every occasion. I noticed they have great gifts for men too. They have cool NCAA LED signs for your favorite college student, alumni, or man cave. Check out their fall merchandise to decorate your home inside & out! They also do a fun candle making class that I highly recommend doing with friends! Stop in, shop local and support our independent retailers!

The Davis Street Mercantile is very unassuming from the outside but don't let that fool you! This place is clearly run by folks who are passionate about what they do. It's stocked with all sorts of home goods, gifts, fresh coffee, soaps, candies, and stationary. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood!

Best shop in Dallas! It quickly became my favorite spot for gifts and home decor. A true mercantile with a variety of items- home decor, office gifts, balloons, food, tees, pet accessories, and more! Candle workshops are so fun, and they also have pottery painting. The staff is so friendly and helpful!

A true hidden gem at its finest! I am so happy that we stumbled upon Davis Street Mercantile. From the outside you don’t really know what to expect, but when you walk in, you will be in your glory. They have everything; home goods, gifts and cards, party decorations, candy, wine, baby items, coffee beans, and so much more. The ladies working there are so sweet and welcoming. I can’t wait to come by more often. I hope you visit, as you will absolutely love it!

I’m in love with the quality and quantity of their refill section at this store. They weigh containers brought in or you can buy your own at the store and fill them yourself. Sometimes we can add our own scents as well!

I had an AMAZING time here! The atmosphere of this space feels very open and inviting. When i arrived Kristina offered me a chocolate truffle that was to die for. With the space being so open it was very easy to navigate and shop through all the selections they have and they do have a wide array! I recommend coming for a very friendly and open experience.

Unique doesn't begin to describe how special DSM is. Wonderful variety and assortment of fantastic products from every kind of PEZ dispenser known to man to assorted jelly beans, lotions, candles, local salsas, signage decor and so much more. Staff is wonderful. You will love this place as will all of your friends, so come visit then tell them about it.

Absolutely the best gift shop in Oak Cliff. They have everything from cat and dog supplies, candles, body lotions, to bathrobes. If you're looking for the perfect gift, they wrap it up and deliver it for you. Their selection of Texas themed gifts is unparalleled. Thinking of the perfect gift for your transplanted Texan? Davis Street Mercantile is my FAVE spot in Bishop Arts area. I love coming here to widow shop and get great gifts for anyone with a celebration coming up! Recently, my boyfriend stopped here for a birthday gift for me and they arranged the most beautiful set of flowers and helped him create the cutest gift basket off all of my favorite things! This place is AMAZING and you wont be disappointed when you shop here!

I absolutely love this store and the ladies that run it! No matter who you need a gift for, they have it! I'm not super creative and they helped take my gift ideas to the next level AND stay under budget! They also have party supplies and balloons in more colors than I thought possible. Just an amazing place with amazing people. I'm so thankful they are in my neighborhood!

Love going here. Im always finding things I need or really want of quality. Everyone is very customer service driven and I feel are genuinely kind people in general. It starts with the owner all the way to the employees. They are customer friendly and I appreciate them letting my dog roam free when I couldn't find his leash.🤗

I LOVE this store! Go there for hard to find items like their Pasta Sauces and Pastas from Italy. Some of the best I have every had. Their Bloody Mary mixes are quite nice as well. If you have a sweet tooth the Lambrecht's Gourmet Toffees are not to be missed but very addictive!
The staff is exceptional and make you feel at home as soon as you walk in. Who knew they have birthday celebrations there- great looking table decorated with the birthday girl's favorite colors- or just any celebration really would be fun to have with them. When I was last shopping there they had a beautiful meat and cheese arrangement (can't say tray because there were copious amounts of meats and cheeses displayed in an artful manner) for a celebration w/champagne.

This is THE place to go in Oak Cliff and such a major fun place to shop!

You have to make an effort to stop by this store! Best kept secret in Dallas. They have so many unique products. This is a one-stop-shop for gift buying for any person! They have a great gourmet food selection, a men's section, women's section, small child section, gorgeous candy collection, candles poured in the store that smell amazing... I could keep going. New products come in every week so there's always something new to check out! And the staff are so friendly and helpful. I always look forward to an excuse to come by! Check it out for yourself!!

Had such a great time at the candle making class! Kristen was such a gem and super helpful, professional and personable. Highly recommend the class and will be returning with family and friends for sure! The store is super cute too!

This was our first visit prompted by a gift card from Methodist Hospital (thank you). There is a wide variety of household items that have been crafted for the sophisticated shopper that is looking for products that communicate quality AND creativity. Adequate parking, especially with the street spaces on the south side with the second entrance. We'll be back!

I am in love with this store! I have been driving past it for years, but when the owner liked some of my Instagram posts and was very kind I decided I had to check it out.

What a great selection! A totally curated experience, and the choices were fantastic. I had to get a last minute birthday gift and they helped me put together a goodie basket of Texas and Oak Cliff goodies that was a huge hit. The price was great for such a custom gift and experience, and I can't wait to go back and shop for myself. BTW they do ship so I have found the perfect place to order client gifts. Thank you for being such a great, local business right here in Oak Cliff.

I have to say this was a great experience. Me and a few friends wanted to know more about candle making. I was running late, from a very stressful, stormy and cold Drive from Tarrant County. Once I walked in, I was greeted with something warm to drink and they were very understanding about me being late. The hospitality was very spectacular and I was very impressed of how friendly everyone was. They totally changed my day. This was a fun experience with my friends. I recommend everyone to try it. They also have great items, snacks and a unique atmosphere.
