Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Denton

I’m from Oklahoma and this is my first visit ever to a theater like this. While looking thru the menu, I asked the waitress (Cambria) if I could get a sample of their fried pickles spears as we were ordering the loaded fries. Of course she had to ask, but she came back with one and OMG 😳 let me tell you their fried pickle spears are the bomb dot com. I will definitely be coming back to this theatre and the fried pickle spears will be my new must have appetizers. Thank you so much Alamo Drafthouse for allowing me to sample them. My only suggestion would be maybe adding a sampler to the menu of half mozzarella sticks and half fried pickle spears. That would be the best of both worlds. I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

All 4 of us loved what we ordered off the menu although it was a little slow getting our drinks refilled. They only had one bathroom which was the family bathroom open so it gets a line. Overall the place was clean seats were comfortable and sound system in theater was great.

Seats recline and the food service is pretty good.

We love going to this Alamo Drafthouse! Our last visit, Aaron was an awesome server with spectacular customer service. I took the survey after our visit and noted that the food and drinks could’ve been improved upon for the price and Jacob promptly reached out (which I wasn’t expecting) and his hospitality and customer service was far above and beyond my expectations and wayyyy above what the standard of service is today. The people at this location are exceptional and we’ll keep coming back because of them.

The movie was great, but the service was even better. The staff worked very hard to care for us without being overbearing. They were kind and attentive. The seating area and table were clean, and the food was good. My favorite was the boozy milkshake; I highly recommend!

It was such a nice place to watch a movie. I had never been to a theater like this. It was enjoyable and very comfortable. The servers walking around were not distracting at all. Next time I'm in town I'd definitely stop here for a movie.

I had to leave in the middle of a movie and the young man at the front desk was so kind and thoughtful. He ran back to my seat and grabbed my sweater for me and then gave me passes. He is a great asset to this theatre.

Of you want to truly enjoy a movie, go here, the service is wonderful, the food is great, and the theaters are very lavish and well kept. If you don't mind spending some extra bucks for a great service, the Alamo is the way to go.

The location is a bit small, but the theaters a pretty big.

Servers are very knowledgeable about the menu and the movies playing.

Food and drinks are great and everything came out fast.

Theater is in a great spot, plenty of parking and so close to the hotel, I just walked to the theater.

Only downside is their is no Iobby with seats

Great atmosphere. Plays old cartoons before the preview. Seats are reserved and recline. 2 chairs share one fixed table. You write your order down on the paper and put the paper in the order spot. Need a refill? Write it down and put the paper in the order spot. This is a brand new location. Clean and fancy. You can view the menus online before you go.

Alamo is my go to spot for seeing a movie. Their menu selection and food is top notch, their sound systems are amazing and their laser projector screens don't disappoint. It's super easy to get a ticket through their app and at the kiosk and they like to spice things up with movie themed menus, events that are super cool if you're looking for something different and a bunch of other stuff as well. It's the only place I really like to watch movies, I'll go other places but I prefer Alamo over them all.

Great place to see a movie with comfortable seats and great servers. I am on a restricted diet, but the staff listened to my concerns and brought me a separate popcorn bowl with no butter! Enjoyed the experience tremendously!

Went to see the Mr. Rogers movie at Alamo. Amazing theater. Very comfortable leather reclining seats. Great selection of food and beverages. The staff does an excellent job of service my during the movie without getting in the way of the movie watching experience. Tuesday’s are $5 movie days. During the summer, teachers get in free on Wednesday’s. And they do a ton of vintage movie showings. Great place.

I've been several times and I honestly do not desire to go to a different theater again. I have had several dishes, drinks and deserts and all have been fabulous. My favorite dish so far are the breakfast tacos with a big piece of thick cut bacon, eggs and hatch green chili queso on a big flour totilla, it's a tough meal to beat any time of day. The atmosphere at Alamo is one of the main reasons I keep coming back, no more garbage "first look" stuff about some USA show that I'm never going to watch, instead there's quality content before the movies and a respect for the cinema itself that makes for an awesome watching experience. I honestly don't even care what's playing, if it's at Alamo, I'll go.

This is by far the best place to see a movie! I love how there is zero talking! You wrote a note for your servers and they take care of it! They are very quiet and stay low and are quick!!! The food is really good!!

Fun spot with a great craft beer selection to be enjoyed during a movie. You’ll be cozy in the reclining seats and small theater sizes. Tuesdays are a great deal at only $5 a ticket.

The surround sound was awesome!!...made our chairs feel like they had built in speakers. Service was very prompt.

I absolutely LOVE this company. Alamo Drafthouse is a great place to see a movie. I do wish that they were a little more like Movie Tavern where you could order your food ahead of time so you don't have to touch pens that have been used by others. (especially because we're in a pandemic)
The food is great, and I have a gluten and lactose allergy. They got my order correct, and that does not happen everywhere.
The staff is polite and kind. The box office ticket operator was even kind enough to take the photo I uploaded. One of the BEST places in town to see a movie. Clean, respectful and comfy. Great quality!!!

Love to visit and see related flicks to the scheduled movie. But getting to the point that the cost of the ticket plus drinks, a burger and popcorn for a family of 3 is becoming a 100 Plus dollar experience. Perhaps streaming movies is the better Price in the future. Not my choice but logical option.
