Guidepost Montessori at Flower Mound

My son has been attending Guidepost’s toddler classroom for a little over a year. The amount of growth I’ve seen not only in his cognitive development, but social and emotional development brings me so much joy. As someone who has experience working in childcare- I can faithfully say that the staff here are par to none. We get weekly newsletters highlighting students growth, as well as daily reports outlining his needs that were met throughout the day-and pictures! Ms. Sixela, Ms. Faith and Ms. B are awesome guides. We also chose to enroll our now 7 mo as well at 8 weeks-and love Ms. Rubina and Ms. Jasmine!

This school feels like a close knit community centered on the kids development. We like that the teachers maintain the right amount of discipline for the betterment of your child while continuously showing them love.

My son has been going to Guidepost Montessori since he was 6 months old and is now graduating to kindergarten. He has evolved so much during this time. We have been to different Montessori day cares for my older kid, by far, this is the best day care experience we have had.

From the administrative staff to the teachers, we have been so impressed with the quality of care and education our son has received. Their teachers are wonderful! Ms Krithika did an AMAZING job with our sweet boy! She pushes the kids to their true potential, encourages them to take challenging tasks, keeps track of their progress and provides periodic feedback to parents. The assistant teacher Ms Lorenna is also very caring with the kids and does a wonderful job!

I would recommend Guidepost Montessori to anyone who is looking for a quality day care in flower mound. It’s just not a place where kids are being watched but it provides a positive environment where kids thrive and grow!!

If you value your child’s development and education, this place is phenomenal! It’s not a daycare, it’s a place your child will learn to be independent and confident in themself as an individual.
We started at 11.5 months (tried nanny and a couple other schools before) and after 2 months she is walking into the school on her own, uses utensils, loves to listen to books being read to her, participates in class activists, and is a lot better at handling her emotions. This was the only school that was willing to accommodate my early potty training, and continue to work with her on it!The teacher to student ratios are better than i have ever seen and they ACTUALLY stick to them. (I never understood how a 5:1 ratio for infants is possible. 0-17 month group is 3:1 here) Every time I go to drop her off, I feel great about having my daughter attend the school. Teachers are so patient and loving!! I love all of them. The head of the school Brandy is amazing at communicating and makes everything easy.
I drive 1.5 hours some days to get to work so I can keep her in this school.

Guidepost Montessori has been such a blessing to our family. The teachers and staff are so incredibly insightful and helpful. They create a warm, friendly, and positive environment for the students which encourages self motivation in learning. My daughter is almost two and she LOVES going to school. We love that Guidepost embraces true Montessori methodology. We have seen our daughter come out of her shell and truly blossom in the year that she has been attending for three days a week. I am impressed that they go out of their way to educate parents on techniques and demonstrate materials allowing us to incorporate the Montessori way in our home. We very highly recommend Guidepost Montessori Flower Mound!

Amazing teachers and staff! Everyone is extremely friendly and attentive to the childrens and parent needs. Both of my boys have learned and grown so much since starting school here. Their methods of teaching are the best!

This is a wonderful Montessori. All staff members (management, teachers, and assistants) genuinely care about the children, parents and our community! They have fantastic Montessori material. We particularly appreciate the ‘transparent classroom’ they offer, so we are aware of what our son is working on, on a daily basis. Communicating with teachers is easy, efficient and any feedback from the parents is welcome. The school regularly has events and celebrations to bring the community together which we absolutely love! The building itself is clean and beautiful. Our 5 year old is blossoming there! I would highly recommend this school to any parent that is looking for a Montessori based curriculum for their child. We LOVE it!

The Guidepost family is truly that, a wonderful family of loving teachers and staff that nurtures your children and fosters such a wonderful learning environment where your children will thrive and come into their own through the mentorship of their great teachers. My children have formed lasting friendships and loving relationships with their guides. My daughter has graduated out but is still so excited to come back to see everyone. I will admit, I knew nothing about the Montessori environment, but after sending my kids to Guidepost, I can see how beneficial of a teaching method it is. If you are looking for a safe, warm, clean and organized, and lovingly and talentedly staffed school, I highly recommend Guidepost as a school for your child(ren). You and your children will love it!

My children were going here before the guidepost acquisition. It was a wonderful school and I was concerned because I wasn't sure how they could make it better. Well, they did and I'm so happy we stayed!!!! I can't point to anyone of the staff who isn't friendly and helpful. Any issue I bring to the teachers or administration is discussed and dealt with. The teachers have really made such a huge impact. My kids are much more independent and helpful. I feel totally comfortable communicating with the director and my children's teachers. The community that the director (Brandy) is cultivating at this school is so warm. We have little voluntary school functions at least once a month it seems and it's nice to get to know the other parents. The materials are AMAZING!!!! During one of the school events the classrooms were open to parents to explore the work the children are exposed too. It's hard to really dive into because it's so extensive you just have to see it. But they cover math concepts, language, geography, music, art, coordination, life skills and so much more. I really can't say enough about this wonderful school.

We enrolled our toddler in September and I can not say enough great things about Guidepost In Flowermound , the teachers and the staff ! They have gone above and beyond for our family and daughter and the growth we have seen in her independence, confidence and social skills has been amazing !! Ms Monica , Ms Deya and Ms. Jenine are SO wonderful and attentive with all of the children in their class , I really could be more grateful for them. Our daughter can’t wait to go back every Monday and talks about them all the time at home ! We looked at several Montessori programs before finding this one and I will say NOT ALL are created equal . Guidepost truly follows the Montessori methods . Also want to add that during this pandemic the school has been great at ensuring we as parents feel comfortable and safe sending our children to them during this time .

Such a wonderful school! Teachers and administration really care about the kids and families. My 4 year old has blossomed so much during her time there. She was so shy and quiet at her prior preschool and now she doesn't want to leave when I pick her up. She is greeted with a huge smile and hug from her teacher every morning. Parents are greeted by the lovely staff who seem to really enjoy what they do. Plus, all the "extras" they do make Guidepost so special. Santa comes for pictures, Mother's Day Tea, playdates in the park, and much more. I highly recommend!

Guidepost is an amazing school, with talented teachers and incredibly devoted staff. Our family was part of the school for four years, and we are grateful for how well they taught our sons to be kind and caring, in addition to how well they prepared them for kindergarten at a public school. We could not have asked for anything more in terms of quality care and support.

We can't say enough about Guidepost Montessori. We've watched our daughter progress developmentally and socially. The staff is caring and patient -- they truly put child first. We highly recommend Guidepost Montessori in Flower Mound to other families.

Guidepost has been one of the best things that happened to our family! Their care, vocation and professionalism towards our kids are a peace of mind when it comes to their education. From the principal Brandi, to Libby, all the staff and specially the teachers Faith, Khadijah and Tohre are a true blessing to our son and we are looking forward to continuing to send our kids to Guidepost in the upcoming years!

Our son is teaching us about geography and taking us all of the states in alphabetical order. He insists on being independent- dressing himself, cleaning his room, helping with dinner. He is 4. This is Guidepost’s influence. He only goes for half the day and we are still so happy with what he gets out of his time there.

Great school, we love the teachers- they're amazing and truly care for our kids. We've been using this school since before they were acquired and have been impressed with the small but substantial improvements that have been implemented.
