Vie A Paris French Bakery

Don't judge a book by its cover, and this applies to this hidden gem bakery as well! I was expecting to see a whole display of cakes when I walk in, but I didn't. It looks like they mainly sell custom cakes for pickups. The interior was very clean and simple with all the plants.

I asked if they have any small cakes for sale and she pointed me to this other fridge behind the rotating cake display. There were a couple of small cakes, but I got the Italian Cream and my sister got the Black Forest. The Asian lady was super sweet. She brought us the pieces and some water so we can dine in.

The cakes were so light and reminded me of my favorite bakery back in Kansas. The flavors were good and it wasn't crazy sweet either. I wish they had more flavors available so I can try them all to know my favorites. They mainly sell custom cakes so that's probably what I'm going to order for the next family gathering. Custom cakes are around $30-50 which isn't bad judging by the size and taste. I wish they were closer so I don't have to drive an hour the next time I'm craving some French cakes!

It was my honor to have had met you sir. The delicious delectable sweet cakes took me back to when I was a little boy back in 74, having delicious ness cakes such as these brought back memories of me with my grandmother and Neiman Marcus. Made me think of Stanley Marcus Valentino and the late karl Lagerfeld. Most of all my dear grandmother. I stopped by after work to visit her at her grave and all I could do was just think of all the wonderful memories that one day for me will be long gone. Thank you for the Memories. Its been a long time since i went there and its still as good or even better than when i remember it. Staff ia friendly and its a chill place to go if u want a quick sweet treat or need a cake. I’ll definitely be comming here more often 🩷

I been ordering cakes from Vie A Paris for many many years the cakes are delicious I recommend stopping by and looking through the cake menu and seeing what style, flavor and decoration you want especially if its for a special occasion.They do have some small cakes that you can just purchase from the display case but for special occasions make a order ahead of time.They do offer cakes by the slice and pastries but get there early for the pastries especially on Sundays alot of people pick up the pastries for there church functions.I am glad they are still around.

I've been going here for several years. The origins go to a Vietnamese baker trained in the art of French baking and confectionaries. The owners established this bakery when they immigrated here after the fall of South Viet Nam.

Their sandwiches are wonderful, made with fresh french bread and delicious ingredients. They also sell their wonderful baguettes but you must get their early as they sell out quickly.

The selection of desserts is wide and every one of them is delicious! Their cakes are works of art that are sure to impress. We are very fortunate to have this bakery in our neighborhood.

In my world travels, one memory always stayed with me and it was the wonderful confectionaries of Paris and the rest of France. This is as close as it gets. We are truly thankful for "Vie a Paris".

My mom's favorite bakery! We've been buying her a birthday cake from here for years and we're never disappointed. We especially love the mousse cakes, which have this perfectly moist texture. The pastries they have on display are so beautiful decorated and the workers are always patient with us.

Cakes here are made from heaven! Every bday we buy cakes here. I am a diabetic and this cake I can eat it all it is not to sweet its just right! And its worth every penny!b

I'm impressed with the ham and Swiss on crunchy fresh French bread! ....and the Danish, yummy. I will be back.

I had lunch at Vie A Paris French Bakery the other day. The service was phenomenal. What made the service at this establishment so great was their active engagement with me as their guest. First, upon entering Vie A Paris the female pâtissier behind the counter immediately put down the phone and interrupted her phone conversation to help me. Second, when I attempted to order a particular menu item she was upfront and explained she had sold out of that item for the day. Next, she was actively engaged with me as her guest and made several alternative dining suggestions. Now, at this point I know many patrons who would have been turned away. However, with her uncanny customer service skills, tasty looking strawberry shortcake and beautiful ambiance I had to indulge. I was thoroughly satisfied and will be returning to indulge in further French culinary delicacies and pâtisserie at Vie A Paris. You should as well! Easy access, great parking and attentive to urgency for the working lunch crowd. BON APPETIT!!

The best Backery that I know of in the area, an absolute must try if you're in the area. My favorite thing to get is an almond croissant, but they also sell delicious cakes, marcarons, cookies, kolaches, and so on.

Nice woman running the store and helping us with our purchases. Delicious pastries and sandwiches. The coffee was great too. Had such a lovely rainy morning breakfast here. A pastry, a coffee, and the sounds of rain and thunder (such a perfect breakfast for my introverted heart).

Decor is eccentric but it's obvious the bakers are passionate about their baking and it comes out in flavor and presentation.

I have enjoyed this bakery since the day it first opened, way back when. It was a very long time ago. We are extremely privileged to have this restaurant/bakery in Hurst. My son in NYC orders my birthday cakes from there, along with the beautiful flowers from Cooper’s Florist on Pipeline. I can not walk out without a strawberry Napoleon for later. Certainly a big favorite of mine!

Come here for our company birthday cakes every month. Always great service always delicious cakes. Have never dined in and tried anything premade or any food. custom birthday cakes are always perfect and on time. Can even order a day before. most places asked me to give them a minimum of 3 days in advance.

The lady that picks up the phone always so nice. Love their 3 leches cakes.. perfect sweetness.. not like your over sweet cakes at your local markets 😆. Its being years eating their cakes.. i order one today after the storm hit us hard to enjoy with the family.
