Game X Change

I arrived 11/25/23 for their Black Friday sale looking for new Funko Pops. Of the six I wanted, four of them were a little dingy with dirt or fingerprints or scratches on the outside of the boxes or plastic windows, or the figurines inside of the boxes were out of position and needed to be reset back in their correct position. But otherwise, overall they were all in great condition. The staff there that was working at the time, Devon and Kaylee we're very helpful and friendly towards me. Kaylee in particular really helped me find what I wanted and even helped me to reposition the figurines inside the boxes that were not positioned correctly. She even helped me clean the outside of the boxes and plastic windows to make sure it looked even nicer and even tried to remove whatever scratches she could. That was service above and beyond what they had to do. In addition, since they had to go through all of this trouble and all the items were not 100% in mint condition, they offered me a great bundle deal to make up for this inconvenience and they gave me a certain percentage off each item. This is in addition to the regular sale that was going on of buy two and get one free. So I got even more money off all of these items and I came out looking like a champ and getting everything for a steal. All in all, I had a great experience and I recommend going there especially when these two employees are working. I highly recommend this store because I feel that they care about you and will go above and beyond to help you if they can.

Game x change is a go-to spot for discerning gamers and movie lovers. A huge selection of games and movies from all genres and consoles. Great selection of funkos and other kotckes as well as refurbished consoles and controllers. They buy old games, consoles, and peripherals as well. Look for the buy more discounts. I always stop by when I go to Tyler.

I bought an X-box for my nephew from these fine folks. Being a non-gamer I was clueless about it all. Last 3 yrs any problems or questions these folks have helped. They know their stuff and are very helpful. THANK YOU GAME EXCHANGE!!!!!! Look forward to blowing a-lot more money in your store. Anybody can talk the talk. But back it up by walking the walk is priceless!!!!!!!

The best store ever for all my nerdy 🤓 needs. Games, movies, toys, cards, comics,& so much more... Great nostalgia for those who are still stuck in the 90's or later, or new stuff for the new generations. Really great staff. Amazing prices. This place is the geek paradise. Highly recommended!!😊

Always love coming here. If you want to sell any of your gaming equipment, they will give you far more than Game Stop, and if you take the store credit, you can get a lot more, as their prices are lower than basically anywhere else. Not to mention their awesome return policy. If you buy anything that doesn't work properly, they will gladly replace or fix it, no hassle.
I always leave happy when I shop here, and I only shop here for my gaming needs.

Sold a laptop, several video games, and 2 consoles to this place in the last 12 years, wonderful service and fair payout

This is a great video game/movie store. We've been coming here for years and I refuse to shop at any other game outlet. There are tons of games for all consoles and half the store is DVD/blue ray for super cheap. They have a good warranty program (all discs are pre-used) and I've never had any issues with any of my purchases being unusable. The staff is mostly professional and competent and helpful and the story stays tidy and clean.

Probably the best-stocked video game store in this area. I've gone to the Jacksonville and Athens Game Xchanges as well as various Gamestops in this area and when it comes to used games these guys consistently have what I'm looking for more often. They also have a fantastic collection of classic consoles and games, not as much merchandise (plushies, toys) as Gamestop but still a good selection. Definitely one of the first places I go to find games for my nephews.

Super easy exchange for cash. We brought in our full collection of DVDs and they let us drop them off while they went through everything. They were really quick. We are pretty much all digital now so this was basically free money. Also, I didn't know they had t-shirts and some other cool gamer and nerd finds.

These guys have a great selection of used games and game consoles. I took my nine-year-old in there to get him a Nintendo 2 DS and the gentleman who helped us was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They also did a very good job of explaining their return and warranty policies and recommended some good games.

The employees are super nice even when you have no idea what things are. They do not make you feel dumb. I was going to get something for my son I had no idea what it was but when I asked for help they knew exactly what I needed and didn't treat me like a dummy. I will not go to Game Stop they act like they are better then you.

This is the best store, such an amazing selection of games. My husband and I have really been enjoying getting back into our childhood oldschool favorites, and this shop is a must for that. Extremely well stocked, incredible prices, and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Strong selection of used games ranging from PS5 to Atari 2600, as well as DVDs, a small number of mainstream hobby games, and a nice range of geek-chic merch and decor.

This little shop has the best and broadest selection of retro gaming paraphernalia in East Texas. If you're in the Tyler area and looking for video game wares from the 80's, 90's, or 00's, this shop is your go-to. Pretty good used pricing on the more recent consoles and games too. Also, they'll give you cash for stuff.

this is a great store. they're not disrespectful like gamestop and they sell old games for amazingly cheap prices. one time I bought a faulty game and brought it back and they exchanged it for a newer one, sometimes they can be slow but that's usually when they are very busy

It's always a chill experience going here. Took my kid this time and she was thrilled to see all the game plushies.
