Helpful people. To the point. Don’t forget your ID. Hope the base would remind their recruits to make it quite known to the families of all the requirements. It sucks to ride 15 hrs and not have the time or resources last minute that a little heads up on many levels would have solved.

Always hs the items most popular for your everyday needs. Great online order services. The self check out is super simple and you tend to always feel positive vibes from the staff never all those random conversations of what's wrong with life but actually more positive speaking and me myself I think that goes a long way with people who overcome the negative nature af the carnal mind sets

middle of the week, approximately 9:30pm
Grocery area is great, fresh veggies & lots of baked goods. Aisles are wide & easy to maneuver, excellent selection at the fresh fish & meats counter. People are friendly & helpful. I was able to get my food & some household items as well! Being brand new to the area it was a welcome find... until I got ready to check out.
Then we've got a problem! One man who looked like he could've been mgmt. standing behind a register waved me away saying "Nope all registers are closed, you'll need to use self check out." Well la te dah. Now I've spent an hour shopping & I'm expected to check & bag my own cart full!
I DONT WORK FOR WALMART!
As I proceeded to scan my groceries the register stopped several times, needing assistance from an employee. (several...more like a dozen times!) The employees were happy to clear the error only to return in a minute to do it again. I am DISABLED & retired from the United States Postal Service (not AL) We would never expect our customers to sort & bundle & move their own mail around! That's what we get paid to do.
Don't get me wrong but when Mgmt. refuses to utilize an employee to open a check stand for people who need that service....that's just wrong!
Self check out can be a blessing at 6pm, you have 5 items & don't have to wait behind the parent with 3 hungry children and an overflowing cart! Give us the choice, I'm old, I don't Work for Walmart! I shouldn't have to find the barcode & then decide what goes where to get it home! I just need to pay my bill, make my way out to the ♿ parking & go home.
I huge shout out to the fellow & his son who must have sensed my exhaustion, swooped in & had my stuff in the trunk before I could find my car keys!!! Thank you Sir!
I will go back, because it's a big beautifully stocked store but I also will demand to be checked out at a register when it's appropriate! ( mister I'm too good to open my register for you! )
I promise to keep you updated on this situation as it changes.. and it will! for I know I'm NOT the only one!

Love the employee. I look forward to seeing Mike's smiling face every time I go. I can be having a bad day and no matter what , he always finds the right things to brighten my day..

I wanted to give a shout out to an employee by the Jayy. Jayy was patient with my elderly parents and helped us get my son's spidey car taken care of! He was helpful, patient, and respectful. It is rare to find that employee in Wal-Mart and he definitely went over and beyond!

A Huge Shout out to " Sweet" Mrs.Brenda in the young Ladies Department @ 280 Walmart for going the extra mile. She stepped up to plate for me on locating a price on a misplaced cute pair of shorts. Also Customer service has been exceptional my last few times I had returns.

I love wal mart! I made a complaint about not having the Sam's Club soda available for the stores shoppers. I have upgraded my rating to 5 stars, because the availability of the Sam's soda is highly available now.. GREAT JOB WAL MART!!!!!

Props to WalMart Tire Center. I showed up with a problem and your team showed out. Nothing like picking up a screw in new tire in the early morning hours while traveling to totally ruin your day. But, I was able to get in and get out fairly quickly. Thanks WalMart Phenix Alabama team!!!

Had a lot of items even though we are in a recession. One employee assisted me by reaching to the top while I spotted him. No injuries while helping me. Thank you so much, young man, in the water aisle. The young lady at the register was very interactive—great small talk. I was pleasantly please at First Assembly of God/ now Phenix First, second home 🤣. Once you attend church you know, you will always see a brother or sister of the church there.

I’ve noticed More cashiers at the registers lately!!

So this is a review on customer service. I would like to recognize two associates that I encountered today after a horrible experience that had nothing to do with Walmart itself. I went for a quick stop at Walmart this morning. I needed a few things for my pool. I made my way around the store ending my trip in the garden center where the pool items are. This is where I encountered a horrible man that decided that I was the perfect subject to publicly pleasure himself to. I was horrible and stunned to say the least but I quickly made my way around a corner away from the sorry excuse of a human being. That is where I found Kevin (I believe to be his name). I told him of what was happening and without hesitation he took off after the man. I quickly called my husband on the phone and within 5 minutes he arrived to help me complete my shopping. I couldn’t leave without knowing that the man was no longer in the building lurking while many children where out shopping with their parents. We stopped to speak with another associate named Marsha. She was the sweetest. She comforted me while she called a manager. That is when I was assured that Kevin ran the man off and that they were pulling the video of the whole incident. She gave me the biggest embrace. She told me not to let that awful man ruin my day. Though I don’t know what became of that man I encountered, I’m so glad to know that even though there are horrible beings in this world, there are wonderful people to help bring some balance.

Store was well stocked and cashiers opened new registers when the lines began to back up!!

Yes the shopping power buggies were available and ready to be used. However, I enjoy the challenge of walking.

They workers did excellent on communicating that they knew I was there and will check for my order when they went back even though they had a whole parking lot full of people waiting for pick up . I was pleased on the kindness even though you can tell they was tired and over worked
