A perfect getaway for me and my wife. What a clean and classy location... the rooms and home were so interesting and well kept, our room was very comfortable and relaxing the breakfast was Gourmet and cooked to order. I can't believe the work they put into making us happy, and the owners are just the nicest people. This place is perfect thank you so much for the wonderful experience see you soon

In this age of AirBnB, it is easy to forget what it feels like to experience a real Bed and Breakfast. The hosts (George and Jean) attention to detail is magnificent. From the pre-stay chat about our preferences to breakfast, to offering to put in a window air unit as the seasons were changing. Staying at the silvershell inn brought me back to a time long ago where human interaction with the inn keeper and other guests is part of the adventure of travel and staying at an Inn. The grounds are beautiful and provide 3 acres of relaxing space. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was clean. The decorations are Victorian. I plan on staying there again the next time I need a great place to stay in Marion.

I'm Robin Josey, posting under my son's name--we stayed at the Inn June, 2022 for our son's wedding. We reserved the whole house for all of our family, and it truly was a magical time, largely because of our wonderful time with Jean and George at the Silvershell Inn. Beautiful home and location, they paid every attention to detail, down to lighting outdoor torches nightly for our nightcaps! Breakfast in their lovely dining room every morning was delicious, and our family was able to spend some really special time together. Hope to go back again for a family reunion! Thanks again for everything, Jean and George!!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the silvershell inn. The attention to detail in the rooms and overall marine asthethics provided a charming experience for us all. George and Jean were wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome and at home. The lovely breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and home grown fruits was delicious. We highly recommend staying at this bed and breakfast, 5/5, would come again!

Our stay at Silvershell Inn was just what my wife and I needed to end our anniversary trip to New England. The property is meticulously maintained and offers an extremely warm and welcoming environment from the moment you enter. Meeting Jean and George was the cherry on top. The hosts were so gracious and informative of all the local attractions, from spending the day on their 3 acre property or locally throughout the town of Marion to perfect day trip plans throughout the region. If we knew that their property was the perfect central location to all of the places we wished to visit, we would have stayed more than 1 night! Additionally, the homemade breakfast has got to be the best around! I cannot go on without commending them on the cleanliness and precautionary measures taken regarding Covid. If you are traveling during the pandemic, there is no safer option out there than the Silvershell Inn!

My family spent the weekend here to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. It's exquisite in every way. Jean and George are special people and wonderful hosts. The breakfast is the most elegant and delicious we've had in a very long time.

This place is a gem. George and Jean are the sweetest people, and they really go the extra mile when it comes to personal services. The amount of room space we got for the price we paid was excellent. They had an abundance of towels ready for us. They customized breakfast according to our needs too. My family doesn’t eat beef or pork so they got us turkey bacon. And when my mom told them that she couldn’t eat bread, they made a delicious vegetable soup just for her. Really, really, great experience.

Just arrived home after spending a lovely weekend at the Silvershell Inn in Marion, Mass. Can't say enough positive comments about this gem.

Exceptional bed & breakfast near Cape Cod. A beautifully appointed room and house, immaculately decorated with antiques and projects a comfortable ambiance. The host and hostess were welcoming and their attention to detail was impressive. I was served tea on a silver tray with my own pot and creamer with silver spoon. The breakfast was perfectly cooked with a bowl of fruit on the side complete with fresh fruit from their farm.
Just a lovely experience and I highly recommend it.

We recently stayed at the Silvershell Inn and had a very enjoyable stay. We were in Marion for a wedding and spent 2 nights at the Inn. The Inn Keeper Kate and her husband were so thoughtful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious with eggs, bacon, and even homemade fruit smoothies! Kate was very helpful and shared wonderful insight about the town and activities. She even looked after us after the wedding was over and made sure we safely made it home. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone travelling out to this area. We really loved our time there and hope to return again for a visit soon.

Peter and I spent 2 days at Silvershell Inn. We loved every minute, food was wonderful. Marion is a great place to vacation. Jean and George Linzee provide a fabulous rustic setting with beautiful gardens and the interior decorations are like a museum setting. Bravo to them. Plus George provides lots of opportunity to learn about history in MA. Colleen Minaker a grateful guest.

We had a wonderful time at the Silver Shell Inn. The proprietors were very hospitable, and went way beyond the normal expectations. . Breakfast was great. The place is historic and filled with beautiful art. Located in beautiful Marion, MA, there is much to see and do if you are looking for peace, beauty, and friendship. Beach and parks are close. Biking and walking is very scenic. Highly recommend.

We had such a lovely stay here!! George and Jean were absolutely wonderful and made us feel right at home. It was a relaxing environment with comfortable furnishings and delicious breakfast. We had never been to the area prior to this trip, but they gave us plenty of information on things to do and the history of the area. Highly recommend, and we hope to go back!!!

Wonderful stay at the Silvershell Inn. Highly recommend this property for the beautiful accommodations and the delicious cook to order breakfast. George and Jeannie are such really nice people and make the best innkeepers! They are also pet friendly! The location is so convenient for travel to so many other places and for exploring this really special little town.

George and Jean, the inn-keepers are the perfect hosts. The house is located on three lush acres. Here's the scoop; wonderful outdoor patio with a fire pit, 22 dwarf fruit trees (our timing was perfect, we enjoyed fresh asian pairs off the tree), a great garden (the bowl of sweet organic cherry tomatoes in our room were a great touch), a three season patio, multiple outdoor sitting areas, and just lovely breakfast dining room.

I really liked the location, convenient for Onset, Wareham, and Cape Cod.

Here's the best part, the hosts are just wonderful people. We really felt at home. They run a tight ship litteraly, as George has his captain's license.

If you are considering another place on the Cape, I suggest you reconsider. You will not be disappointed at the Silver Shell Inn😉☺

P.S. my wife just reminded me about the 7 jelly spread, crisp bacon and french pressed coffee served with breakfast. How could I forget to mention such delicacies!

If you want 5 star service and hospitality stay here. George and Jeannie are consummate hosts and the atmosphere is over the top gorgeous.

We spent 2 days at the inn. It was in a great location for visiting Cape Cod. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The inn was beautifully decorated and our room was perfect for the four of us. The breakfast they made was delicious!

Silvershell Inn what a wonderful place to stay in ..my fiance took me there has a surprise for our 10th anniversary.. George and Jean are such loving people they welcome you with open arms what beautiful rooms I had a beautiful day.....thank you so much for a blessed day.

Breakfast was awesome. We were visiting Marion from Virginia looking at real estate. Kate and Ryan were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and restaurants. We had a great stay! We'll be coming back whenever we come to the South Coast.
