Very skillful installation of a lot of new equipment. A heat pump water heater, an in-line dehumidifier, and a fresh air ventilation unit from Build Equinox have really changed the air quality of our house. Your mileage may vary, but in our early 1900’s house the bathrooms don’t steam up anymore, and the second floor isn’t 10 degrees hotter than the first floor. Mark helped us put together the plan for the plumbing upgrades, and Michael, Kevin, and Wes handled the ventilation. But there was also a whole team of installers who did a great job shlepping heavy equipment and making it work. It’s not easy work, but they made it easy for me.

After a basement flood, bad experiences with other plumbers, and considering several backup sump pump options, we went with Lanz and plumber Ron's "peace of mind" package for a water backup, night eye alarm, and piping for a second, emergency discharge. The other plumbers we had look at our sump setup couldn't conceive of what Ron imagined and designed, at what we considered a very reasonable price compared with other quotes. Check out the photo. His excellent work has already saved us when our main pump (a brand new pump) failed due to improper installation by anther company (not Lanz!). Bravo, plumber Ron! We truly have peace of mind that our basement will stay dry.

Friendly and informative. The tech explained everything he did and helped me understand the issue with my unit and options to fix it. Michael Savage did a great job explaining my options for a new furnace. Install went very smoothly. A great experience all around from diagnostic to sales to install. Highly recommend.

In a day when many companies lack customer service, Lanz goes above and beyond. We had to get an entire system replacement, and every single person we interacted with was both competent and professional. Kurt (our salesperson) worked hard to make sure we had all our questioned answered, and he was kind and responsive. We had some major issues to deal with, and he could not have been more helpful. Lanz worked hard to move fast once we were ready, and they were on our time schedule. They also did a great job in not leaving a mess, cleaned up everything, and were very careful in our home. They also came back and double checked and made sure everything was working perfectly. We are very happy with our new system, and I would recommend Lanz to anyone. I called Lanz at the suggestion of a friend, Sue Gass, who recommended them. The gentleman who came to deal with my issue (leaky toilet, identifying whole house water shut off) was named Boston Williams. What a great guy! He was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. He gave us multiple opportunities to ask queations and gave us great information. I try to support local since I live in Coles County, but my recent service from locals was less than satisfactory. I am so relieved to know that Lanz will be my go-to for all my plumbing, heating and cooling needs. I highly recommend Lanz!

Great experience. Kurt explained thoroughly all possible options for replacing my HVAC system along with financing options. It was the best option when considering product quality, financing and customer service. He even provided help when my old furnace broke a day before it was scheduled for replacement.

Kyle and Shannon came out to work on a bathroom drain that would no longer drain. They were very knowledgeable, very efficient, and listened to exactly what I had to say when describing the problem. They used a camera and quickly located root invasion and quickly had the drain cleaned and running. I was also offered very useful information about what to watch for when dealing with plumbing in an older home. When they left, everything was working properly and I felt that I got a reasonable price for a job well done and appreciate the information that was provided as a bonus. I definitely will call Lanz for any future plumbing issues.

The crew that came to clean our ducts were very professional and diligent to be sure they cleaned every vent and both furnaces. We were cautious about having our ducts cleaned, as we had the 'popcorn' in our ceilings removed recently, plus we have multiple hairy pets. I had no idea how much debris we had in our ducts and the amount removed was shocking. Our house smells so much cleaner and feels warmer – I would not hesitate to recommend this crew at Lanz to anyone. Very reliable and trustworthy.

I'm a do it yourself person,yet I ran into a plumbing issue that I been battling for over 1yr now. I finally broke down to call the Pros. I heard good things about Lanz and gave them a shot. It's a good thing I did, the quick response and professional workmanship they did was a true 5 star rating! Thank you Lanz Plumbing.

Furnace was having issues igniting. Contacted the first result on Google, Mattex, who said I would have to pay a holiday rate and after hours rate even though it was 3pm on a Wednesday before Thanksgiving and said I would have to pay $275 just for someone to come out. Contacted Lanz and they advised me it would only be a $79 service charge and any parts that were required. Will came out and was very professional and courteous. He explained everything he was doing and provided some helpful insight for the future. Highly recommend their service!

Lanz comes every 6mo to perform maintenance on our HVAC system that was installed in June of 2022 based on the service plan we purchased. They contact us to schedule the appointments. They are flexible to accommodate our schedule. They communicate clearly. And provide friendly service while the work is done. They make sure all our questions and concerns are answered before they leave. We are very satisfied with the HVAC system and their service to date.

We needed an emergency service for a water leakage problem in the bathroom on a Saturday. After a couple of inquires, this company responded the quickest with clear communication. The plumber (Brad) came within several hours in the same afternoon and did an excellent job replacing the valve of our bathroom shower and thereby got the problems solved. The whole process was professionally done. We will use them again.
