Hampton Inn & Suites Effingham

The Hotel, service staff, breakfast was all good except for the Limited TV Channels.
For what you're paying...I need the Biggest Selection of Channels when I'm cooped up in a hotel room.
Give me a Better darn selection of channels for the $$$ I'm paying 😞... PLEASE...I SEE THAT THIS IS STARTING TO BE A COMMON AMIDST YOUR MORE EXPENSIVE $$$ Hotels.
Your Not Giving Me My Money's Worth.

Super nice hotel. I enjoyed the stay. There's a ton of food options close by. The rooms are clean. Water pressure is good, too.

Room was clean, AC unit works, lady at the front desk was nice, the gym has weights that go above 50 pounds and other staff people seem happy too. Will definitely tell the travel manager of my company to use this place for other employees traveling through this town.

We stay at this hotel at least twice a year. The staff is very friendly rooms are always very clean. Housekeeping always helps out if you need something extra. Sara does a great job and makes sure the guest are happy. Would recommend this hotel to everyone. Thanks

We loved this Hampton Inn in Effingham on our trip west. It is one of the nicest, cleanest and close to lots of places to eat. Especially would like to give thank you to the front desk and Michelle in particular. She was great and extremely helpful and helped make our stay memorable.

This was a really good Hampton Inn. It was exceptionally bright especially in the dining area. Everything was clean. The service was also very good and all of the employees I interacted with were very nice. The location was also very good. Lots of restaurants and gas options. There’s also shopping nearby.

The best hotel concierges I have ever experienced. Unfortunately didn't catch their names, but they were amazing, you know who you are! I truly recommend any staying here to chat with the staff, as they are great people. The room was great and the whole facility was really well maintained.

Could not ask for a better hotel experience. Our family of 5 stayed in one of the audio suites and it was worth the price. Plenty of space with plenty of storage and super comfy beds. Loved the breakfast options with make your own waffle station and premium toppings. Woukd definitely stay her again if passing through.

Sarah John is intuitive beyond my imagination! Please promote her. I’ll tell you why. I forgot my hair tie and not wanting to go to a store I asked the front desk for a rubber band. To my disbelief she said, “I have no rubber bands.” What office doesn’t have one rubber band? Then to throw me even further off guard she asked if a hair tie will do. Unused she was casually carrying in her purse. Happen chance? NO! This lady is prepared for anything that comes her way. She is deserving for so much more. An asset to any company and a light to the world! Hilton she’s the reason there’s Hilton Honors!

My wife uses our Hilton Honors AMEX for just about everything, so we typically stay at Hilton branded hotels using points. We've noticed that Hilton has been slipping lately, so the Effingham Hampton was a breath of fresh air. We had a clean, comfortable room, the desk clerk that checked us in was awesome, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Keep up the good work!

Have stayed here on 2 separate occasions and has always been a pleasant experience.
Clean, walkable to food and fancy coffee, great breakfast, plenty of parking, easy access to the expressway but not so close you can hear the road. Plus the staff is wonderful!

Wonderful hotel. Nice and clean room and spacious king room. No problems checking in, all staff was very nice. And thanks to Karen to helping getting us a room for the night with no troubles!

A smaller hotel tucked into a vibrant business district just off the highway which provides precisely what you hoped for upon arrival: a non-pretentious crisp & clean exterior as you approach the canopied entryway, a warm and smiling welcome as you approach the front desk, several non-clackity carts to choose from at the front door, spacious room to both lounge and sleep, restaurants and other hospitalities located within short driving distance, a breakfast buffet showing a mix of hot and cold compliments for the entire family ... they even have small waffles for the wee ones! Oh ... and pet friendly with adequate grasslands sprinkled around three sides of the building and its voluminous parking lots. I vote with my wallet and this little hotel I've saved to my car's GPS as a "Favorite" which, I'm happy to say, we use with some frequency. Nicely done.

Clean, friendly, helpful, reasonably priced, and convenient location. We liked it so much that we stayed here on our way back home. Free breakfast was good, especially the fresh made cinnamon waffles!! I suggest offering them in the evening with a purchase of ice cream from your mini-store in the lobby!

Clean rooms, friendly staff. great breakfasts. I have stayed at this location 4 times in the past year, twice as a walk-in, and twice with reservations. Each experience was great, and the staff was always very accommodating. Overall, an excellent experience.

Exceeded our expectations - we were traveling for a family reunion, and they were very well suited to and accommodating of our large group. Everything was very comfortable with oversized rooms and we felt like we could make ourselves at home. Thanks!
