Everything about this place screams love and authenticity. I am from California, and finding good Mexican or Latin American food has been a challenge over the last 8 years in the Midwest.

Looking at everyone's photos and reviews made me feel this place would be pretty good 👍 So we gave it a try.

We ordered the appetizer platter, grilled shrimp A la carte, the quesadilla with black beans and Mexican rice from the kids menu for a little one, and a fried ice cream with lots of cherries. My daughter usually leaves food behind, but here she eat until she was full. She really enjoyed her food and her eyes were wide with excitement with every bite.

Everything was fresh and tasted good. Well seasoned, and timely. They were well staffed, and everyone seemed to enjoy working there. The staff stayed in top of things, helped each other out with no ego issues, and seemed to have long-standing connections with the regulars.

Every single chair was filled with someone, and when one table was clear, another party sat down. The staff didn't rush anyone to finish, and outside of the large number of staff and customers, you wouldn't know they were "busy".

Most restaurants bring food out slow with the number of people there tonight, but not here. This seems to be normal here.

Was in town for work. Staying at the Fairfield Inn. Good food and service. Big Portions and good prices. If you are staying at the hotel, show your key and they will give you a discount.

Tres Caminos has the best carnitas in the entire St. Louis bi-state area. They are super moist and tender. I consider their carnitas to be their flagship dish.

The carnitas dish is so large, that I usually order it for dinner and take the leftovers home for breakfast and lunch the next day. You get a lot of food for your money here.

Tres Caminos is clean with excellent ambiance, customer service, and food.

I appreciate that they chose to place their second restaurant location here in Pontoon Beach instead of going to Edwardsville where so many other local businesses seem to locate by default.

They are consistently very busy and have proven this is a viable location for good restaurants.

The only thing I would improve about Tres Caminos is that their tamales tend to be heavy on the masa dough used for the exterior of the tamale and light on the meat filling.

Good food, very clean & good service. I ask for a very spicy salsa and was not disappointed. I wish they didn't close so early, great place for drinks & munchies after an event or a movie. Nice outdoor seating area...Will definitely be back !

Food was cooked and tasted amazing. Great staff and a LARGE menu to choose off of. Portions are large and drinks are a nice size for a regular as well.

I WILL be coming back here somewhat often.

It is a great place with the best food, good service, and attention to every detail. That’s my go-to spot whenever I visit St. Louis. All the workers are nice and kind. The only downside of this place is its location because they don’t have an easy way entrance and exit, but otherwise, I love the place. Thank you for your service!!

This was my First time visiting! The Food was decent. Service was kinda slow at first but we met Alexa’s & she turned things into a 5 star experience. This is not half of the items i ordered i also had. Burrito nortenio the blue margarita 2 don julio resposado shots 🥳 Cheese dip & for dessert lemonade cake & churros.

I travel all over the U.S. on business and I get to try different restaurants. This week I was in Pontoon Beach Illinois for a whole week. I was able to sample a lot of different plates from this restaurant and they were all amazing. From the shrimp cocktail to their steak fajitas. All of it was great. Highly recommend “Tres Caminos” to anyone in the area. (Truck Drivers, there’s truck parking in the lot across the street!)

Muy Bueno! I had the Vampira margarita drink which was excellent in a cute stoneware glass with a tamarindo candy straw. I also enjoyed the street tacos in a combination of Steak, Pork and Chicken with rice and beans. Topped the meal with fried ice cream. This is a nice place , well decorated with a fast and friendly atmosphere. Great place for get togethers.

Food was amazing!!! Ordered the toriado was awesome! Gave us so much food had enough for another meal. 😋 can't wait 2 go BACK! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Love this place. We always eat here when we're traveling through. The food and service is always exceptional! They have a large parking lot for our trucks and trailers which is so appreciated!

Food is absolutely delicious, servers response times to you are very quick.

Go on a Thursday! they have a gentleman walking around playing guitar, he even made me a balloon rose! great food, great service. WE WILL BE BACK
