Scott Field Heritage Air Park

The 3rd Annual Flag Day Car Cruise at Scott Air Force Base was just wonderful! Kudos to the volunteers and organizers. A big thank you also to all those who serve in the military and their families. Looking forward to going back next year.

Very interesting place. 6 planes in the current museum space. All planes have a history with Scott Air Field. I chose these photos to share. Scott was and is very important in medical care and rescue. Even airplanes nee to have a clean windshield! Enjoy your trip to Scott Field.

It is a simple, but extremely well thought out site. The lawn is perfectly manicured, and the walkway is perfectly linked to each of the planes so that you can seamlessly walk from one plane to the next. It was a great, but quick stop.

Great historic Park at the gates of Scott Air Force Base. The park is open to the public and you don't need a base badge to visit. The parking lot for the park is marked and is next to the park. Don't park at the parking lot of the visit center at the gate of the base. You get to see lots of awesome and historic planes and totally worth a visit.

I loved this Airplane park it is a very beautiful place!! You can learn about the history of the planes at the same time enjoying the landscape!.. And it’s free

Fun little park to walk around before the gates to base. Plenty of parking. Can be hard to make a left turn leaving here depending on the time of day.

6 Historical Aircraft that you can walk 360 degrees around. Easy to get to with nice parking. Hope that Scott AFB is able to display more aircraft there. If you enjoy aircraft, it is worth the visit.

Well kept. Like the 24/7 availability. The night lighting is good. If you're wheelchair bound it's a long ride. Thanks for the displays.

This is a field of aircraft. No stairs or elevators, you cannot enter into the aircraft. There is the base visitors center across the street with wheelchair accessible facilities.

Great place to take the family. Saw the planes used to bring back POWs. There are only a few planes but if you are in the area it is worth the stop.
