Peel Wood Fired Pizza

What a beautiful building and amazing atmosphere! We had toasted ravioli, jalapeño popper pizza, traditional pepperoni, and a bacon dill pizza. Everything was so delicious, I can't pick a favorite. Our server Kayla was so informative and helpful. All of her recommendations were spot on! We will absolutely be back!

Love this place, always has something new and delicious to try! Had the newly added BBQ Beef Brisket pizza which had the most amazing house-made BBQ sauce! I enjoy the upstairs area sitting at one of the bar top tables. Our server was so attentive, and we must have hit it at just the right time as we had a table right away. Place was packed when we left.

This place knocked it out of the park this evening. From the hostess, to the wait staff, to the food staff, everyone worked as a team to make a pleasant and tasty evening. Wait staff John knows how to make the evening relaxing while at the same time making sure you never wanted for anything. And the food matched the professionalism of the staff.

The Trio, Blood Orange Wheat draft and Kona draft. Haven’t had a pizza here I didn’t like. Brick oven pizza is always delicious and their sausage has a unique taste that adds to the flavor.

The brisket tacos were delicious. Pizzas looked great, gluten free options are tasty and well made. Nice selections.

Brian and Joe are fantastic at the bar up top! Lots of tv’s for sports stuff!😂 Great place to meet friends for a bite to eat or celebrate sports stuff!😂 One of my most fav memories happened right here! They also have gluten free pizza for my friends with allergies. Fun place!

Visited during a spontaneous day date to the O’Fallon area. The establishment itself is beautiful. PEEL takes advantages of the buildings natural aesthetic by complimenting the large windows and brick features with warm lights and hardwood tables. For views, it’s located in the heart of the Ofallon downtown district which displays unique murals along side adjacent buildings.

The staff is very knowledgeable and kind. I was unaware PEEL operates with an open kitchen and viewer friendly brewery upstairs. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I loved being able to view the kitchen. It is very well designed. Our server, Reyna B., was wonderful. She recommended a few items on the menu and answered all of our questions. She was very attentive to our table despite having a few other large (kid filled) tables. She also directed me to the kitchen area as I had not seen that area when walking in.

The food was phenomenal. We ordered the blackened mahi tacos, Italian club, mac and cheese, and a pizza.
The tacos had a great combination of flavors, the fresh vegetables provided a delightful crunch. The mahi was very tender and melted away in the tacos. I was sold by the Rosemary focaccia used to create the Italian club. Crisp bacon, a fresh tomato and fresh mozzarella brought this flavorful bread to life. However, if ordered again, I would ask for light turkey. The mac and cheese side stayed hot the duration of the meal. Great flavor with a better noodle texture.
We ordered the ricotta, wild mushrooms and sausage speciality pizza. Very soft crust with a slightly tangy tomato sauce spread across. The slices of sausage were flavorful and surprisingly soft. I did hope for a more even distribution of the ricotta cheese within the pizza, however, the ricotta cheese is of good quality so the large spoonfuls were not off putting.

We will be back to make our way through the rest of the menu.

We came for a special occasion, my father-in-law's retirement party. We had a group of 12 and they were very accommodating. Got us right in, the staff was so friendly. I only got photos of 4 of the pizzas we ordered but EVERYTHING was delicious, it always is. We love Peel and recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I absolutely love this place. I've been a few times and everyone has been an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is calm, the decor is beautiful and the staff is very kind and helpful. I've tried a few different pizzas and enjoyed every combination. Definitely give this place a try!

Awesome food and great brews! I’ve never had a bad experience at Peel. They have a great selection of beers and are always adding new ones. The pizzas are delicious and they have a great variety of specialty pizzas to please anyone. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order. The building has two levels, but it can get rather busy during peak hours. The wait staff is fantastic! They are always friendly and take the time to check on you.

Had lunch alone at the bar looking out window, good music, sports center. Pizza was really good. Bar keep was great, had really good recommendations.

When I think of a date night in the area, I think of Peel. The atmosphere is fun yet upscale without being snobby. The food is amazing and you are offered unique and delicious choices of appetizers, pizza, salads, and desserts. Although the floor plan is open, it is still a place where you feel like it is just you and your date.

When I think of Girls Night Out, Peel is our top choice because of the delicious cocktails! Usually more than one sounds amazing and we have to try them out in addition to getting salads and calzones.

Peel is also a good choice for lunch in Downtown O'Fallon. Usually we get there around 1 when most of the businessman SAFB military have left so there isn't a wait. Even when there is a wait, it is never long except on a Friday or Sat which happens at all the good restaurants.

I don't drink beer, but they brew their own and several friends have to bring growlers home to their husbands because they have to try or get more of their regular and seasonal selections. They have a nice wine menu but with their tasty, unique, and top shelf cocktails that you won't find elsewhere, I never have time for wine.

The wait staff, bar staff, and hostess run everything very smoothly. The wait staff are always professional and are experienced. It is nice to eat someplace where the staff really take care of you. The restaurant and bathroom are always clean.

This is a kid-friendly place with a kid's menu that my picky kids like.

There is an elevator to access the 2nd floor and I think that the side door has zero to 1 step but don't quote me.

The food, drinks, staff, and the look of the restaurant is well-managed. I've also been to the Peel in Edwardsville many times and I experience the same service, food, and atmosphere as the O'Fallon location. I haven't tried the Clayton Peel but have seen the specials and more upscale choices they offer and I would like to get out there sometime.

The overall manager of all three restaurants makes sure everything is consistent and the best at all locations. I get emails from Peel that updates me on seasonal items at all 3 locations which, of course, makes me want to try out the new food and drinks!

One last thing, Peel helped make Covid a little more bearable by offering a great take out that provided the same delicious food and it was brought out to your car promptly. Peel has great take out in quality, earth friendly containers. The dining in the closed off street with a tent and fans during Covid was also nice.

Can you tell I absolutely love Peel? It is my favorite restaurant and I eat there way too often with my husband for date nights or lunches, taking the family, and Girls Night Out!

Best experience at a restaurant that my husband and I have had since moving here! BBQ and Buffalo wings were the best I’ve ever had. I’m usually a boneless wing lover, but these had so much flavor and meat on them; they were awesome! The Jalapeño popper pizza was just what I love all in one. Jalapeño cream cheese was genius. Husband had the calzone and ate the whole thing! Dessert was delicious, we had the apple cake special. Also had some coffee with our own little French press! (I was really thrilled about this.) ALSO- the dessert was displayed on a little tray that our server brought to the table, which is genius. Our server Michael was super friendly and attentive. Drinks never went empty, made great recommendations, and chatted with us after! Super genuine and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Michael really made the whole experience so enjoyable for us! Also, the atmosphere was awesome. Alive, but family friendly and can hear your counterpart talk haha. Definitely will be back for more, and asking for Michael as our server! :)

Peel graciously modified the pizza and salad I enjoyed today at lunch with friends. Medical issues require that I closely monitor my intake of several micronutrients and follow a vegan lifestyle. Our server and the chef diligently followed my requests and created a delicious, and safe, lunch. I expressed my gratitude directly to the chef and he said it is their practice to accommodate special needs so that all their guests have a welcoming and comfortable dining experience. Great job.

Amazing! Great service, beer and food! A must stop! The desserts were INCREDIBLE!! We tried all the draft beer and not one disappointed! Something for every taste.

Our service Madison T was great! She gave us some good recommendations. The Mac and cheese is the best I’ve ever had. So good that we ordered some Togo. We got the baked potato pizza which was good but a little too rich in flavor. We added some jalapeños and it helped cut down the richness. The wood fired sub and chicken spinadele (?) appetizer were also very good! I highly recommend this place!

Felicity was our server and she's a rock star! She was SO good at her job. She put up with our shenanigans with great humor and somehow refilled our drinks without us noticing. The food was excellent. From the spinach artichoke dip to the salads, from the pizzas to the burgers, it was delicious. The desserts were the crowning touch. We tried them all.

Best service, atmosphere, and food. So many food options can be made vegetarian and everything on the menu is sooo delicious!

I was very impressed with the location and the decor this place was very ap-peeling pun intended. Not only did it look nice the food was fantastic we had 4 different appetizers all were very good all the meals that came out looked delicious and well plated. My salad a apple gorgonzola salad add chicken was pretty darn good. The service despite our waitress being on her 3rd day she did an amazing job with our 10 person party. We will definitely be back in the near future

This was our first trip, but definitely not our last. The waitress was very friendly, and the service was exceptional. I had the margarita pizza and it was the best flavor hands down. Definitely recommend this place and can't wait to go back again.
