My Bowl Korean BBQ

We had an amazing night out. The food was light yet filling and very savory. Definitely hit a spot. It was quiet in the restaurant, and had a call atmospheric. Service was good, and the grilling was easy. Definitely will come back again.

Food was delicious! We have been waiting for this place to reopen and it finally did! The atmosphere is updated and very chic. Can’t wait to try the Korean BBQ and attend the events!

Best place to grab some tasty Korean food, right outside base!

Not gonna be the same as Osan, but the owner has spent his time in Korea for sure. Get a bowl, bring friends if you want to do the grill or slam some soju.

Such a fun experience. The food was delicious! Celeste our server was attentive and took the time to explain everything we needed to know (none of us had had Korean BBQ before). The owner made certain we were being well cared for. When you see pricing it seems high, but what you get for the money was fresh, filling, with fantastic flavor!

I freaking LOVE everything about this restaurant! I have eaten here at least once a week since I stumbled upon it because EVERYTHING IS GREAT! I don't know much about Korean BBQ. I just knew I wanted a good bowl of Ramen. So, when I called & asked a bunch of questions for guidance, I was elated that the person on the phone was completely patient, knowledgeable, & genuinely helpful. He helped me choose what I was in the mood to eat since I didn't have familiarity with the menu. The food is so impressive, and I immediately decided to visit regularly. I've repeatedly called & asked for guidance on my order, & I've been repeatedly delighted by the delicious results. EVERY SINGLE THING I'VE EATEN HAS BEEN DELICIOUS! Also, I'm always stuffed by the time I'm done & I'm not a tiny person. I just can't resist finishing the entire meal & stuffing myself because it's so great. The guy on the phone turned out to be the owner too, but every person who has taken my order out waited on me in any way has been courteous, helpful, & kind. So take it from a big foodie that is generally disappointed by the size of meals & the diminishing customer service in the industry, TREAT YOURSELF TO A DELICIOUS MEAL AT MY BOWL KOREAN BBQ! You'll be happy you did, especially if you ask for help if you don't know the menu like me.

The wait was worth it since they had been closed down for some times. Went to the soft opening and the bbq was amazing. Loved all the sides that they brought out before the meat. Couldn’t get enough of the corn and kimchi pancakes. The meat was so tender and flavorful. Service was amazing. Make sure to check out!

We had a really excellent meal here tonight. The bulgogi, and short ribs on the barbecue were delicious and well seasoned. I liked a great many of the sides we had as well. We got the beef barbecue for 2 to 3 people. The two of us were able to finish it off but were pleasantly full. The sides were very good, high quality.

Such a great experience, and the food was fantastic! We will be regulars!

Went there right after a surgery and the anesthesia hit hard when I was there. They were kind and packed up our food while my mom carried me out to the car. The food was great even after being reheated and due to that and how kind they were I decided to go back. They recognized me and asked how I was doing. Will be taking more people there 😊

Just left from having dinner on a Friday night, this was our 2nd time in and it was busy, but we were greeted right away and told we would be seated soon. Waited maybe 10 min and were seated, drinks and apps order immediately taken and were apologized to for the wait (which for us was not needed, because we often eat out and I would hardly consider 10 min a wait). The owner was our server and he was great! I’ve read many reviews on here about bad service and other commentary about portion sizes related to the price, bland food, etc.

I can assure you the portion sizes for price are warranted (we definitely pay that or more in St. Louis when we eat) and my chicken veggie ramen, my husband’s veggie ramen, and our tofu bulgogi were all very good and well seasoned. We got an app and 3 entrees and it was a little around $55. Definitely regularly priced.

Simply excellent. I was stationed in Korea, and my dining experiences at the Korean Bowl always reminded me of my remote tour. Outstanding detail goes into food prep, and the atmosphere is outstanding with great ownership. Best Korean food around to include St Louis and Edwardsville. Try it. You will not be disappointed and worth the travel from St Louis to Belleville. Respectfully, Patrick

My first time at My Bowl Korean BBQ. We had a fantastic time. Gary took care of us and was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. All of the food was delicious. We ordered the Big Combo and had a lot of food I had not tried before. It was all fantastic. I am looking forward to going back for dinner or getting take out for lunch. Thanks Gary!

If you're in the mood for Korean food or want to experience it for the first time, this is your place. The owners are very friendly and welcoming! The food was absolutely delectable, and the service was fantastic! 12/10 highly recommend!!

I've eaten here three times now and really appreciate the quality of all the food items! All the varieties of vegetables are very good. I love that all the meat options are not overly sweet like every Korean restaurant I've been to in St. Louis. The side items are also very tasty as well. The cheese corn is also a great addition! I also like that the grills are able to act as a hood as well so there isn't smoke everywhere. Prices tend to be pricier, but the quality is there. Shout out to Sophie for being a very friendly and accommodating server also!

I love My Bowl. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. It's an excellent lunch spot, or if you want a traditional Korean dining experience cooking at your table you can get that for dinner. And then there's the selection of snacks you can grab for later!

Our party of 8 had a great dinner. We had the yaki mandu and veggie pancake appetizers and Tofu bulgogi and pork belly entrees. But if you want to have the best thing on the menu- order the kalbi short ribs. You will NOT be disappointed! The complimentary banchan was very tasty. Excellent food and service.

Finally got to stop in and do the Korean BBQ dinner here and I can't recommend this experience enough! We got the combo meal for 2-3 people and it's more than enough food for 3 adults. It comes with pork belly, bulgogi beef, pork and chicken. We also added spare ribs for an additional price. For appetizers we had some beef dumplings and fried rice cakes (not sure the spelling but it was pronounced tok), both of which were amazing! Everything we had was marinated/seasoned to perfection and was delicious. We had never done anything like this before so we were nervous at first but our server took plenty of time walking us through how to operate the grill and checked on us often. The owner even came by and showed us a few traditional ways to put together the grilled meats with the numerous sides that come with the meal. We will definitely be back to try some of the other dinner offerings they have on the menu!

We were so excited to try the KBBQ, and they did not disappoint!! It was delicious, along with the plethora of sides!! It was so nice to share this amazing meal at a leisurely pace with friends! Everyone was stuffed, and we were barely able to finish it off. We had a table of 4 adults, and shared a bottle of soju. Our billed totaled up to $110. Great prices! Great food! Great service!! Thank you for a lovely dinner! We will be back !!

This is our go to takeout place! We order dinner at least once a week here and absolutely love the spicy pork ramen and tofu ramen. Very rich, great flavor, and we love that they always include a tray of sides as well. Love this small business!

This restaurant provides a delightful experience with delicious food, friendly staff, and exciting events. I had the small pork belly set (which has a ton of refillable sides) and strawberry soju. It was a good value for 2-3 people and the portions were huge! Definitely ideal for a group/party. I'll be returning for their soju tasting event in January!
