Ottawa Trail Woods

Love this trail youll find me here almost anytime. Been coming here for years, there's a nice trail where u can come across the river and chill there for a while. Same trail takes you by a small lake and you can spot beavers, red ear slider turtles, and snapping turtles in the water. You'll see deer here a lot, keep away, all sorts of birds cardinals, blue jays, hawks. It's a nice little spot to have a quick picnic or grill some burgers. Keeps the kids connected to nature. Love it.

Great little hike with my dog. Saw a Great White Egret high up in a tree across the river. A wonderful place of tranquility so close to the urban chaos.

Love it here. Go in the middle of an afternoon and enjoy all sounds of nature. Nice for a good walk or hike. Go in the early evening before sundown and you're likely to catch deer roaming around in free site and munching on something. Over all nice place to get away for a few moments or read or have a quick lunch in your car.

I love going here mostly for convience. I live about 30 minutes walking. I hike it usually once or twice a week. I've taken to bringing a garbage bag with me since some of the visitors have no respect for preservation of wildlife. Overall a nice get away from the urban life.

I go there for the fishing and to ride my bike

Good place to go camping.
it's kind of good place to go fishing is searching for rare mushrooms.
but right now in nice a serious repairs because of falling trees.

Make sure you come armed with some pepper spray or a gun in come on make sure you gun is registered. Do not go alone and make sure you have a weapon was people like to go there to do drugs. It a night you gotta watch out for deers raccoons and dingoes.

Full of beauty and magic. Always a peaceful place to be when you need some enlightenment. Clean, organized, and safe. Forest Reserve employees are helpful, and respectful. Thank You!

The place is fun to walk in and easy to get lost. The trails are great the of path trails make it more adventures. Didn't see any animals but the large body's of water are interesting to see

It was a great day for a walk in the woods. It was a short two mile walk and the encounter with two yearlings. We had a starring contest and I won, they walked away.

Deer all over and quite used to people. Nice parking area with double entry & exit.
