This is one of the places that makes you happy when you’re there. The staff is some of the best around. The hostess was pleasant and honest about the abundance of bees on the patio and happily sat us inside. Our server was very sweet and attentive.

This was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever eaten out. My scrambled eggs were fresh and fluffy. You don’t get that everywhere. Handoff the bone was thick and tender. The hash browns were thoroughly cooked with just the right amount of crunch. The pancakes were not at all doughy but light and fluffy.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here and will return because I’m told they have amazing donuts.

Today I really wanted to have something delicious for breakfast and I was looking for places to have breakfast, I saw a bad comment and I was scared but I wanted to have my own opinion confirming it for myself, that comment really infuriates me, the service from moment 1 was simply amazing, there was not a single minute in which I felt abandoned, what's more they even started talking to me when they saw me very alone, then the food was spectacular I ventured with the Brisket skillet and pancakes, it was the best, the The price was quite good and the quantities ridiculously large, I would go back a thousand times, really if Google could delete the comments I am in the firm to delete the bad ones from this place, maybe it is related to the time but my experience was spectacular, for the rest you who are reading come and see for yourself that it is the best breakfast in all of Lake Zurich. LM.-

Honestly such a good meal Sunday! Everything tasted fantastic. Biscuits and Gravy are 5 star! Bone in ham is delicious! They have recently moved...make sure you follow them to new location!

One of the best breakfast places we have been to in a long time. Delicious bagels, whipped cream, donut holes come with their own frosting for dipping. Hashbrowns are Yukon Gold, sausage links were delicious. Can't say enough about this place they should have a 5-star rating. And they wven have their own blend of intelligentsia coffee. Yum!

This place in Lake Zurich is the go to for breakfast. Well priced and the food quality is excellent. Give this place a try. I believe you won't regret it.

Wow...the food was fantastic! Some of the best biscuits and gravy I've had. Love how they crumbled the sausage up so you got it every bite! The biscuits were light and fluffy. We have definitely found a great breakfast place!

The service was great! Staff very friendly. I will most likely come back again. I was not rushed out and they gave me donut holes after my breakfast so I had something with my coffee.

I heard this place was good when I started working in the area, so I stopped in this morning before work for a carry-out. I got a mushroom, swiss, and avocado omelette and the avocado was on top instead of cooked in, which is actually how I prefer it. Potatoes weren't crispy as I requested, they were perfect! And doughnut holes as a side, are you serious? I'll be going back :)

Hidden gem! Lovely little place for a great breakfast and very friendly service. Will definitely be back.

I love this place. Prices are great and the food portions are amazing. Their French toast is the best! Also love their chilaquiles. They were a little short handed but still managed to give great service.

Great breakfast spot, food is amazing! Everything is fresh and flavorful (donuts and bagels are made fresh every morning) Staff is super friendly. They do catering as well and had them cater a birthday brunch I was having for my friend and they did an amazing job!

Met my parents here for breakfast on Sunday around 10:00am. Wasn't too busy yet and we got seated right away, it was busy with a wait time by the time we left. Very polite and professional server and excellent food. We all left stuffed and happy.

Love their food! Delicious! Craig and staff provide awesome catering! They often deliver to my work servicing an office of over 40 people. They have such a great presentation. The food is always freshly made. Sandwiches, salads, fruit, and don't forget their signature donuts! Such a treat! Definitely enjoy it every time!

Great smaller diner which serves the breakfast and lunch crowd. They have the standard diner options in addition, they offer very creative specials for breakfast and lunch. They have a 5 stool breakfast/lunch counter. Overall, the service is awesome. Prices are competitive. I enjoy eating there and would highly recommend it. 👍👍👍👍👍

Went to Eggshells twice this week. My new favorite breakfast restaurant!! I loved their corned beef hash!!

Great home style breakfast and lunch with affordable pricing. $4 per dozen bagels and donuts are hard to beat! Friendly staff and the owner was kind as well. Also get a free donut on your birthday, a super win! Decor and menu are pleasant and easy to understand. Only open until the afternoon, so no dinner, unfortunately.

I had placed a catering order for local delivery on Sunday. At the last minute we had to change the location of our gathering to Northbrook. Craig and his team didn’t miss a beat! The food arrived on time, and was hot and delicious! Thanks again so much for taking the extra step and going out of your way to make sure that our brunch was special!
