CrossFit Barrington

Love this gym. Love the coaches. Love the community. I had basic experience with weight lifting and felt a little intimidated walking through the door but CrossFit Barrington (coaches Craig & Cronin) made this decision so easy on me. Every coach is knowledgeable/helpful, the members are encouraging from your very first class and the environment is FUN. 2 years in and it’s become my favorite way to start the day. I’m stronger and faster for it.

Absolute best place around. When I moved home from college and no longer played a collegiate sport, I had no idea what to do! I found my new team and family at CFB. Grateful for this place every single day! Coaches are AWESOME and super knowledgeable. Everyone here always wants what’s best for you. Amazing community.

I've been ecstatic with the gym since I joined. The ability to workout in a community environment pushes me past my comfort zone more times than I'd like to admit. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to get in better shape in a fun filled atmosphere!!!

Such a great community of people and the best coaches. I have gained so much strength, and love the challenging workouts. Highly recommend! If you have never done CrossFit, but want to, don’t do what I did: avoid it because of feeling intimidated. I wish I would’ve started this fitness journey years ago!

I joined CFB a little over a year ago and in addition to getting stronger and fitter, I gained a supportive community of people that make going to the gym so much fun. The coaches are superb and help modify every workout to fit the needs of each person, and even when I could barely do 1 rep of a movement, I never felt silly or out-of-place. Love this group of coaches, athletes, and friends.

I've been going to CFB for almost 7 years and absolutely love it! Great gym, great staff and great workouts! I've been able to achieve fitness goals I never thought were possible before! The staff is super supportive, experienced and helpful!

I have been always reluctant of Crossfit, but was in need of a major change. I have been very happy with my decision to join Crossfit Barrington!! Very welcoming environment; coaches and fellow members made it an easy place to walk into. Dont feel like you’re up to the “standards” or in shape? They do a great job of scaling workouts and coaching you along!! New class times and a new anytime access option makes it an even better experience!! I’ve done CrossFit off and on since 2012, and at a few different gyms around the country. I joined CFB in July after moving to Barrington and I’ve rediscovered why I enjoy CrossFit so much. The equipment is great and the gym is spacious and clean. Everyone is super helpful and encouraging.

The coaches are amazing and they make you feel safe, supported and welcomed throughout the entire class. The members are kind. This community is full of people who uplift you and want to see you do better. Great programming, great atmosphere! Crossfit can seem intimidating but the coaches and athletes at this gym create the best fitness experience for any first-timer (and all timers)!

You will immediately feel welcomed and uplifted by the amazing team of coaches and the welcoming community of CrossFit athletes. I can confidently say, CrossFit has changed my life (for the better). Having never tried CrossFit I was intimidated to dive in. Immediately upon speaking with Craig I realized this gym is a community that genuinely cares about people's health and goals. I was given a 1 on 1 consultation with Chris that challenged me physically, but every movement was expertly explained. Form and technique were top priorities. Throughout the consultation any questions were answered with enthusiasm and patience. Everyone was welcoming and the facility is incredible.

After one week, I am thrilled with all experiences I have had here. Both Craig and Chris (I haven't met other coaches yet) run an incredible outfit. Their attention to detail and interest in every person's goals is undeniable. Workouts are tailored to all bodies and abilities. You will be guided, but given freedom to perform as you need. Don't hesitate to give this place and the people a chance; you won't regret it.

This gym is great! The workouts are challenging and fun. The coaches are knowledgeable and supportive. The members are of all different ages and fitness levels and we all get a great workout every time! It’s a great environment!
CrossFit is very sustainable - EVERY day is different. I love the variety and that every workout brings me closer to my goals.

I'm a few months in to my journey at CFB and my experience thus far has been extremely positive. The coaches are phenomenal -- they make sure you do the movements correctly and are incredibly motivating. The facility and equipment is clean and well maintained. The members are welcoming and always pushing each other to improve. Suffice to say, I'm hooked.
