Belleview West Animal Hospital

My dog is my son, so I don’t trust anyone with him. When I first came here, I was greeted by Riley, who was SOOOO funny and friendly. It put me at ease. Then I met the vet, Dr. B, and felt even more at ease. Quincy Thomas had a great time and loved everyone there. I will be coming back if need be!! Also vaccinations were very quick!

Dr. Barnard has been my veterinarian for about 15 years. Recently he assisted with a surgery in his office for my 15.5 year old dog who needed a TECA because of a large tumor in her ear. From start to finish he kept me informed and cared for my pup like one of his own. The surgery has been a wonderful success as we are 6 weeks out and she is as happy as can be. The staff went above and beyond caring for her and I can’t thank them enough. I truly can’t recommend Dr. Barnard and his front office staff enough.

Dr. Bernard is the best vet, recently my pup ate a bunch of chocolate and we thought my sons dog might have also shared the treat. I called an d everyone was at lunch but after talking with D. Bernard the staff said bring them right up. They took care of them immediately on their lunch time. I cn’t tell you show grateful I am to have a compassionate caring vet like Dr. Bernard. Dr. Barnard is wonderful! She has been taking great care of my three dogs and it was easy to get an initial appointment for all three. Very reasonably priced, as the annual exam for three dogs + shots + antibiotics for an ear infection was considerably less than what I paid for two dogs at my previous vet. Easy to get follow ups and urgent appointments when my dog had an infected nail.

They are very passionate and caring of all animals. Dudly is always been treated nicely here.

I've been bringing pets here for over a decade. The staff here are all super nice and caring. Dr Barnard is awesome. He once fixed our lab's blown knee in-house instead of sending us to some high priced surgery center. When I came to pick her up afterwards the Doc was down on the floor loving on her. That repair lasted the rest of her life. Truly great care. To top it off, their prices have always been more than reasonable.

Recently I was worried about their availability for same day visits after calling for an urgent issue for my dog and being told by the reception desk that they were booked a week out. Dr. Barnard reached out to me and explained that they leave a few slots open each day and can offer drop-offs so my pet could be seen as soon as possible. I called in the morning and they allowed me to drop off my pet. That was great news because another vet office that I had check my pet in the meantime only wanted to test, test, test ($$$) and wouldn't treat any of the symptoms. Dr B jumped right on getting my pet some relief and started towards healing.

I want to speak up about the review a Nicole Chavez posted recently. We were just back at the clinic with our animals and it was, again, an amazing visit. I always am a bit curious about people who make the effort to leave negative reviews so decided to dig into Ms. Chavez a bit and her claim. I find it interesting that she speaks of racial profiling - which I can PROMISE you did not occur - when SHE actually DID racially profile in a review. See it posted below. I have been going to Belleview West for years - before Dr. Barnard was there and after he came on we stayed because his youthful energy and knowledge made us very reassured that our pets were going to be cared for. The girls who greet you, the doctor who spends huge amounts of time with you and the services and honesty that encompass this clinic are beyond excellent. It is like walking into a small town clinic where they actually know your name, remember your pet and treat you like someone that is in there all the time instead of once or twice a year for a check up. The smiles and kindness towards your pet (which is most important to me) are beyond reproach. Truly if you are looking for a vet - new in town or need a switch you truly need to stop here and check it out. My review of this clinic over the years - terrific and my review for current activities where we have been there with our pets - excellent (and btw - for both CATS and DOGS - they are very conscious of making sure that everyone - pets and their owners - are very comfortable!! This place is wonderful! I have two very large dogs and they have to go everywhere together and with a toddler this is incredibly difficult. They were able to take my dog and kennel him so I didn't have to wait to see a doctor. I called numerous places and no one else offered this option just a 2-5 hour wait. The front staff is incredibly friendly and you can tell they are all animal lovers. The hospital was able to treat my dog and I was sent home with a through note from the vet.
I highly recommend this clinic and will be switching vets to this one as my primary.

Phenomenal experience! Entire staff was kind, knowledgeable and very caring! I highly, HIGHLY recommend this vet office. I was shocked & pleased at how low/fair my bill was! Happy to have found a trustworthy vet I can count on.

Very much appreciated Dr. B he was great with both my babies. The lady doctor that works there is very intelligent however she wasn’t the nicest to my smaller pup. I really liked how Dr. B interacted with my baby, with love and compassion just like if it was his own pet. I highly reccomend him and if I can request to see him again for our future vet appointments I will

Dr Ross and the staff go above and beyond taking care of our furry friends. We appreciate all their hard work and would recommend them to any one.

I have been coming to BW for over 6 years with my dogs. Dr. Ross Barnard, Caroline, Rhonda, and all of his team are simply the BEST!! They care for my pups as if they are their own, and are always glad to help answer my numerous questions, nothing too big or small for them. They make us feel like family!

Belleview West has been incredible! Everyone there has been so gentle and kind to our puppy. They all have the best attitudes and go out of their way to be helpful. We've had to go to their office quite a few times over the last few months for vaccines, checkups, etc. and they have been wonderful each and every time. Highly recommend!

I have gone to Belleview West Animal Hospital for 20+ years. Dr. Barnard and Dr. Merchant are both excellent vets and provide expert and compassionate care. The vet techs and front desk staff, led by Rhonda, are always professional, efficient and caring.

Great service and excellent animal care! We took our newly adopted puppy here for a check up and to have some health issues assessed. Dr Barnard took his time, answered our questions, and was very knowledgeable. He even took time to review our pups care needs with the shelter we adopted her from. Couldn’t recommend a better veterinarian!

This is a great clinic! Very compassionate and caring staff. We (me, my wife, & 2 grade school aged boys) took 2 kittens and a 5yr old shelter rescue dog in for checkups at the same time. It was a bit crazy. The whole gang didn't phase anyone at the clinic. Dr. Ross even sat on the floor with the animals to do his exams so they wouldn't fall off the table! Everything was very reasonable and I didn't feel like anyone tried to sell me anything just to pad their bottom line.

Additionally, my elderly cat only visited their clinic once. When she got sick a year later, we had to euthanize her at home after a visit to an animal ER. Belleview West sent us a sympathy card. I don't know how they knew or found out, but they took the time to send us a note. It ment a lot to me, and they earned my business.

Belleville West Animal Hospital is one the best vet's we have ever had. We have gone here for several years and love the Staff and the services.

I had the worst luck trying to find a quality vet when I first moved to the Denver area. Luckily, a coworker mentioned the Belleview West Animal Hospital in Littleton. I'll admit I wasn't sure what to expect & was a bit skeptical that anyone could be as good as my coworker described. Long story short, we made our first appointment and was pleasantly surprised! Dr Barnard & the whole crew at Belleview West was everything you'd want in a Vet Clinic and more! Everyone there is so knowledgeable and friendly. They truly care about our pets! We did not feel like just another paying customer here (like we did at so many other clinics). By the time our appointment was over, we left feeling like we had just made some new best friends! Our sweet little "chug" Bella is not just our dog but a member of our family & I would never take my children to just any Dr, same goes for our Bella. So glad we found Dr Barnard & the entire staff at Belleview West Animal Hospital! I don't normally take the time to write reviews but after our wonderful experience at this clinic I couldn't wait to let others know! We had such a hard time finding a vet clinic we liked when we first moved here I just really wanted to help others in the same situation. It's hard when you relocate & don't know who to trust.
