Safeway

This is my Safeway. In my opinion they have a larger selection than King Soopers. And if you join their club like you join the King Soopers club pricing is comparable. But today I was trying to get some flowers and some balloons for one of our employees who's turning 60. And Yelena in the floral department went above and beyond the call of duty in my opinion. She was extremely helpful for an old man who classes his colors when he is left to his own devices. Lol Yelena, Got me on track and pissed out and pissed and pissed and pissed out I and pissed out I meant and pissed out I meant and pissed out I meant to say and pissed out I meant to say and pissed out I meant to say picked and pissed out I meant to say and and picked out the best arrangements and balloons.

This Safeway store is clean and well organized. The employees were friendly and helpful.

Great store. Clean, small and the offers on the safeway app are great no coupon cutting needed. Tamale kitchen, Dairy queen, Boba Zone, Liquor store etc. also in this shopping strip

Always a good shopping experience at this location. The produce section looks great. Meat & Seafood Departments are well stocked, organized and fresh meat. Dairy, Bakery, main aisles all looked well stocked and organized. Great job.👍

Update

Went to the Safeway at Kipling and Bowles, store was well stocked, could not find short ribs, spoke with a Butcher who was will to cut then right on the spot. Found everything I was looking for. Check out was pleasant but only one manned station, 9 people waiting on self check out, this is an issue, if 9 people are in line, open another manned station.

The help and stocking is superior to the Safeway on Colfax I recently reviewed, and I have never had a bad meat purchase at the Bowles location.

The merger of Safeway and Kroger should not go through, it will definitely limit competition in the area I live in.

I had a really great experience at Safeway this time around cashier was super friendly and very helpful and everybody was very friendly actually everybody was and thus the store shelves were very stocked and had everything I needed it was plenty of sales going on in very good prices so I had a very good experience

Great store! All the employees are friendly, the shelves are well stocked and it was quick and easy to get through the checkout. I love my pharmacist, Tiffany. She's awesome. Caring, friendly and very knowledgeable. Nice experience overall at this Safeway.

I like this store. It's not crazy like King Soopers. The prices are a bit more expensive, but if you use their club card and time things right it's totally comparable if not cheaper.

It's clean, uncongested, and makes something I hate to do bearable.

The staff is always nice and it's a pleasant place to shop.

My new Safeway, the best ever, great people, the store is stocked and ready. With a new remodeling job, it's like a new store.

We have been going and shopping at this Safeway for 30+ years and we love the employees and the staff there. The produce dept is amazing , the dairy dept is great and the meat dept is the best . Easy to get in and out of the parking . Very mellow store which we like when we go grocery shopping

I shop at this location most of the time and the service and staff are very helpful. Today I ordered some chicken and vegetables trays for a bowling potluck. She was very helpful when I had questions about chicken and chicken tenders and how much to order. The store is always clean and it's very easy to find what I want.

There are too few reviews and most of them are bad. I wanted to put in a review to balance things out. I've been shopping there for 11 years when I need to do a quick run and I've never had a bad experience. Everyone's been nice and I like the selection. A big plus for me is that it's rarely crazy crowded like the other grocery chains near me.

Shout out to Safeway Deli Department 😁 they got my fried chicken order amazingly right! Hot right off the frier 🤣 I Stopped by today, I need it my feel good favorite fried chicken! After someone messed up dessert for me I really need it, and after 18 years of buying it on different places on the USA for special days for my kids, is still delicious chicken 🍗 😁 thank you kids for the good service and the happy smiles too 🙏🏻

Friendly staff, nice reasonable-sized store with good selection of groceries. Watch out for the rotten (male) sacker who likes to stroll into the ladies' restroom with no warning or even signage. I waited about 10 minutes after his intrusion and then went straight to the manager. Unfortunately this blond creep is still employed there ...

Clean store however there are a few employees that really are not very friendly at all and in a couple of time boarder line rude. With that said it is a decent store to shop

Anita never disappoints me with her Wonderful attitude and customer service every time I check out with my groceries. I have been shopping here for a while now and there are not a lot of people in this world who can just change your mood by simply talking to them. Thanks for being such an awesome Soul Anita! 😎

I met a young man named Corwin who was working near the dairy section. I asked him for some information about a certain item. Although it was not in his particular department, he stopped what he was doing and quickly found what I was looking for. He was helpful, friendly, efficient. Everything a customer could hope for. Honestly, I never liked Safeway before. It always seemed more expensive than Kingsoopers and every single Safeway I went to while growing up had some issue regarding an employee that really tainted my view on them. But in the past couple years I’ve been going into Safeway’s here and there and their prices, especially recently, I’ve noticed are comparable or way less even, than kingsoopers and the employees are super kind!

Great food. Service is very fast.
